If you need to update please follow this guide to update and use FTP method: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/ and update alos the plugins that come with the theme’s files from /plugins folder.
Please also try this without any plugins active, leave just Visual Composer active, empty cache and purge your files if you use CDN and check if the issue is still there.

I believe this happens due to a plugin so please make sure you also test this without using any plugins, leave just the Visual Composer plugin active and the FB comments plugin then test gain and also check your console for errors.
Also make sure you empty all caches and purge files if you use CDN host or cache plugins.

We did not tested the plugin with the theme, but you ca try to disable all plugins, leave only Visual Composer and WordPress Related Posts plugins active, clear cache and see if it works. Maybe there it is a conflict with another plugin(s) that you use.

Please deactivate all plugins, leave only Visual Composer plugin active, also empty cache and check if you still have that issue. If this solve your issue please activate your plugins one by one to find out which cause this problem.

Make sure you disable all plugins leaving just the Visual Composer plugin active then make sure you empty all caches and purge files if you use CDN host and test again.
Enable the plugins one by one to which is causing this if the missing VC elements start to show when disabling all plugins.

Please deactivate all plugins also minifications, leave only Visual Composer active after clear cache and purge your files if you use CDN and check again if you have issues. If you still have issues please verify your custom modification to the theme files(the code).

Normally the styling options you’ve set in the WordPress Theme Customize or in the Theme Panel – those options will not be effected by updating your theme, only custom modifications to the theme’s files will be overwritten.

Please make sure you also test this without any plugins active and leave just Visual Composer plugin active and also empty cache and purge your files if you use CDN then check again. Also css code is apply in cascade so the default css is loaded and then the custom one.

Hi,

Unfortunately there is no block/module to use with Visual Composer and to achieve what you wish. You would need custom modification for that to create a module/block or create a new one. On Newspaper version 5 will be added new blocks and also it will be more easy to create a new module/block(will be added new tutorials).

My guess is that this happens because of a plugin you use, it could be due to the

I suggest you try this without any plugins active, lave just the Visual Composer plugin active then make sure you empty caches, purge files if you use cdn host then test this again.
Let me know how it goes and if this still happens after all this consider updating your theme to the latest version if you are not using it already.
