Hello,
Unfortunately we highly discourage this as our theme was built on a fixed width layout. If this width is changed then all the elements on your website will have to be adjusted as the layout will break. If you need this customization, then we suggest hiring a freelancer to help out as there will be much work involved.
Thank you!

Hello,
Unfortunately plugin conflicts are the number 1 reason people have problems with premium themes. This is the case with all premium themes as not all plugins are compatible. If a plugin gets updated and the code changed, it could create a conflict and break your website.
Please deactivate all your plugins except visual composer clear cache and reset cdn if you use it. Please keep in mind that you use the old version of our theme (version 4) and plugin compatibility issues will be more frequent in this version as wordpress and plugins get updated. Please update your theme to the latest version by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thank you!

Hello,
If you keep posting replies, you will only delay your answer as the topic will be moved up the list and we answer from oldest to newest.
Please try to disable all your plugins except visual composer and clear cache. There could be a plugin conflict preventing the css from applying.

If the color still will not change, then please try tochange other settings as well and see if they apply from your theme panel. If they do not, please try to increase your system status parameters following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
If you still cannot get it to work, then please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can inspect this issue. Also include a link to this topic.
Thank you!

Hello,
If you have the general modal image active, then depending on the post style you use, it will open in a lightbox: http://screencast.com/t/gLrqlrdW4L
But this does not apply on all post styles. Some are not clickable so there is no link at all on the featured image (in this case no lightbox as well) Please check this option on multiple post styles to see how it works.
You can see this on our live demo. On this post template the featured image opens in a lightbox: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/120-er-visits-linked-synthetic-wordpress-nyc-past-week/
but this one does not: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-the-new-screen-savers-the-show-that-launched-video-into-the-stratosphere/
Thank you!

Replied in the other topic. No point in creating 3 topics with the same issue. We respond to all requests.
Thanks.

Hello,
Unfortunately you cannot target the icon with css as the code creates an iframe. The code uses a different type of implementation that the one in our theme as it uses javascript not html. Iframes cannot be targeted with css. These are the icons provided for the specific widget: https://www.stumbleupon.com/dt/badges/create if there is no square icon, then you cannot change it.
Thank you!

Hello,
Please make sure the video you are using comes from YouTube/Vimeo Any other platform will not work with this option. If the problem still persists without plugins, please check your system status parameters and increase them according to this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Let us know how it goes, and if you still have this problem then send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide your website and wp-admin so we can login to inspect the problem. Also include a link to this topic so we can identify you.

Hello Josh,
Unfortunately we do not know of which plugin you are talking about. In any case, the only tested plugins are these ones: http://screencast.com/t/MEmcF525e The only tested icon plugin is font awesome. If this is not what you use, then we have no idea of it’s functionality and we cannot assure it’s compatibility with our theme. If you really want to use that particular plugin, then you will have to hire some help for it’s implementation as we cannot offer any custom work at the moment.
Thank you for your understanding.

Hello,
The theme renders the ads exactly as you place them. If you place the ad 3 times on a page, then it will display 3 ads. They will not load the ad 3 times as Chris suggests, but you might want to ask google about this if you want to use the ad multiple times on the same page.
The file used to render the adsense code can be found here if you want to modify it: http://screencast.com/t/LDol5mgC7
I hope his helps.
Thank you!

Hello,
If you are logged in, normally the edit button has to be there, if you have not removed it from code that is.
You can however edit your page without the edit button if you access it from the pages section in the dashboard: http://screencast.com/t/CAgWQf2gCA and then simply click on the page you want to edit.
Thanks.

Hello,
There are 2 ways of adding ads inside a smartlist. One is the php method where you can use a do_shortcode function and add it inside one of these files: http://screencast.com/t/RAU3ZEudH
Or you can use the visual composer shortcode from an ad box and place the ad directly inside the smartlist content for example this shortcode will grab the ad from the custom ad 1 spot:
[td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_1" spot_title="Advertisment"]
You just place it in text mode inside the content.
I hope this helps.
Thank you!

Hello,
I’m not sure this option was available in version 6.4 (which you use): http://screencast.com/t/2N0WPhpoxf
If you cannot find these option in your theme panel, then please update your theme to the latest version so you can benefit from the new features and options. You can use this guide to update: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thank you!

Hello,
We are planing to add more elements to our theme with every major update. I cannot say for sure if such a slider will make it into the next update as it is still to early.
Thank you!

Hello Christoph,
Nice job on the pagespeed. It improved quite a bit. And bing agrees on the mobile part now: http://screencast.com/t/ZDVwF3Gs4lHQ
Google can scan your site now as well and return a proper score: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fscreencast.com%2Ft%2FZDVwF3Gs4lHQ&tab=desktop
It seems there are no further issues and page speed is good!
Have a nice day!

Hello,

I have checked into this again and it really seems not to be the plugins . I was the one that inspected your website and who wrote you the email but at that moment I deactivated the plugins and everything worked (I was not lying though, it really worked at the moment). It seems the tabs do not work anymore even without plugins so I did a little more digging on the subject. It seems the tabs element from visual composer does not support complex elements. Tabs are complex elements themselves so another complex element such as a widgetised sidebar or sliders will not work inside tabs. Please recreate your tabs and try to not use the standard slider. You can use the ‘post slider’ not the standard slide element. I will add this on our list of fixes to see if we can come up with a fix for the tabs element and other complex elements from our theme. Sorry for the inconvenience.
As for the thumbnails, you can use the theme api to add or change a thumbnail in our theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/td_api_thumbadd/ This is for advanced users though and it will require a bit of coding knowledge.
Thank you!

Hello,
The link to the database tutorial works on my end. Please try it again: http://screencast.com/t/XVWHMQfSFuso
For the email, please check your spam section as well as it happens sometimes.
Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and ftp access so we can inspect this issue.
Please also include a link to this topic.
As for the activation, at the moment if you do not activate the theme, there will only be the notification message. But we do plan on implementing some restrictions for this to discourage piracy but we cannot provide any details at the moment as it not yet set into motion.
Thanks you!

Hello Renai,
This problem could be related to your comment problem as I suspect you have a plugin conflict. Please disable all your plugins as I informed you in the other topic and see how it goes. I suspect it will fix the issue.
Let us know.
Thanks.

Hello Renai,
I just tested this again and it works fine on our end.The link goes exactly to where it’s supposed to with no redirects. There could be another problem interfering with comments on your end. Possibly a plugin conflict so please try to disable all your plugins except visual composer and clear your cache (also reset cdn files if you use it).
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!

Hi,

This will require a bit of customization in order to be positioned properly.
Please add this code in single.php:
<div class="custom-block3"> <?php echo do_shortcode('[vc_row][vc_column width="2/3"][td_block_3 limit="4"][/vc_column][/vc_row]')?></div>
And then use this css to fix the width:

.custom-block3 .td-pb-row .td-pb-span8{
width: 100%!important;
}

Thank you!

Hi,
Unfortunately WPML is not tested with our theme and we have no idea of it’s functionality. I cannot provide an answer as to why it searches the root folder and not the translation folder. I think the plugin author will be the one who could answer this question.
Thank you!

Hi,
I did a little digging into ACF (as implementation of custom fields on modules is already custom I might as well look into acf directly)
This is what I found:
You can use this code: <?php the_field($field_name, $post_id);?>to implement custom fields (as suggested here: http://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/the_field/) so you can use this on modules for example if you want to display a custom field named Price, you would use the code in the specific module you want it to display:
<p><?php the_field('price', $this->post->ID);?></p>http://screencast.com/t/JLtppCV8
I hope this helps.
