1. The alt tags were added inthe composerr code as empty alt tags. It will not grab the alt tag of the iamages on the composer elements. I have added this to our list for future updates and we will fix it in future releases.
2. Yes, it was disabled for mobile devices and can be enabled by removing the mentioned code.
3. Unfortunately with background images, you will get a responsive issue as they cannot display as a standard img tag, but rather they are added as a css backgorund-image property and that will not scale as a standard image when on narrow screens.

Using the new cloud templates, you can actually edit a post template in the tagdiv composer and stretch the rows just as you would on single pages. You can choose from these sizes: https://www.screencast.com/t/dPC49itR
As for the many different sizes, the theme creates as many thumbs as selected here: https://www.screencast.com/t/umwdpdws82ag
You will have to asses the thumbs used on your site and disable any unused ones.

No, the amp template should not affect it but there is also the cdn to consider and sometimes the host offers a hosting side cache.
Please use this guide to set the cdn properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/ and try to disable any cache coming from the host if there is one.

Yes, unfortunately pages do not show the featured image. Only posts show the featured image on the post itself. Pages do not share this functionality.

You most likely have unique articles activated as you only seem to have a few posts and the unique articles will not allow them to display in other blocks if they are already present in the big grid at the top of your page.

Pages will not show the featured image of the page.
Pages show featured images of posts. The page can have a featured image set but this will never show up on the page itself. If you need it to, you can add it in the tagdiv composer as a single image element.
