Regarding the Feature video/image, after you have load a Video as Featured in the Backend, after this, you need to Refresh the page if you want to see the results, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/sZa3D32B The featured image seems to work as expected and it is automatically generated from your Featured Video.
Regarding your second problem, please notice that Big Grid Full 2 should works as expected and the result should look like this ->https://www.screencast.com/t/fLWwGMuR Please check the ROW settings from the TD Composer and make sure if your ROW stretch is set up to be Stretch row and content -> https://www.screencast.com/t/rxT46sZ7e If you have changed these settings, you need to roll back to the default settings.

I have checked your website and I saw that your AMP is valid but please notice that you have 9.5 version of the theme. Here is talking about an old AMP plugin. If you want to have the new one, you need to update the theme to the latest version of it which is Newspaper 9.6, install the Mobile Theme and AMP plugin, set up according to our above documentation, clear all the caches and check the results.

Unfortunately, the Menu Icons plugin has not been tested with our theme and also, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected with the theme, sorry! It’s possible when you enabled this plugin, the mega menu functionality to be disabled. Try using the Font Awesome 4 Menus if you want menu icons inside your menu bar.

So, if you will check our TD Composer, you will see that some builder elements has the following option here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/TnzLgtfd which allows you to open the page in a new tab. You need to provide more details about what kind of links you want to open in a new tab so I can provide a more accurate response.
