I feel sorry for this moment, maybe my explanation was not understood correctly. So, if you have some custom modifications in your child theme, in the future, you must be careful that if something does not work as properly with your child theme, probably the classes or some code were changed in the latest update and you will have to “UPDATE” you child theme with the actual classes or right code to work as expected. I hope that you have understood my explanation. Please notice that this thing is not necessary doing for each update only if problems arise due your child theme customizations.

Please notice that is not a simple task and require some additional customizations through code that involve custom modifications. Please notice that if you want to create a new module with custom functionality, you have to use API method for implementation and this type of method is not covered by our support. Yes. Please notice that the child theme is the optional one and it is using in general for additional customizations. The child theme will be changed in each future update a little bit, but you will have to re-add all your customizations in the new child theme that come bundled with our theme.

Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. It might be one untested plugin which interferes with the theme and cause this type of issue.
