If you do not have tagDiv Composer activate Newspaper theme will be like a default theme from WordPress, is not need to use it, but you need to have it activate.

There will be not difference if you choose to by a license for WpBakery, this plugin will work the same.

Using mobile+amp you’ll have the same layout for mobile posts/pages and amp, but you’ll need to make a new content in mobile editor for pages and amp.
Using Amp you’ll have the same layout on mobile like on desktop, but the speed will be lower, and you’ll still need to make content for pages in mobile editor, if you want to have amp on theme.

If you want that all new posts to be without sidebar you’ll need to go in Theme panel>Template settings > Blog and post templates -> https://www.screencast.com/t/syqFe8F4aya now all new posts will have the sidebar set from panel -> https://www.screencast.com/t/CYsoPGbzku and there we set to have posts without sidebars.

and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
WP_MEMORY_LIMIT try to increase it at least to 256mb.
Also please check the php version to be 7-7.2
Please check if the WP-debug is set to false in the WP-config file, then check if the warnings are removed.

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

For the second one please insert this custom css in Newspaper> theme panel? custom code> custom css :

You can change the red color.
