If all the setting are well configured, the should be no problem with the view counter, just make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugin and untested plugins and see if this problem is still happen.
Also please notice that if you have a cache plugin and the option from theme panel, then will be count only the unique views.

from what I can see the second one use the latest version of Newsmag theme -> https://i.imgur.com/9Gcdvq5.png the first one use Newsmag v4.5, also if you consider to update the theme, please make it first on localhost or sub-domain, also please notice that in the latest version there were made some changes in theme core.

Sometimes if the website resources like the stylesheet are slow to load, the result my be negative. But actually when checking with a phone there is no problem.

Unfortunately we do not have a guide for how to do it in Newsmag theme, only for Newspaper theme, but the changes should be quite the same, please check our tutorial for adding multiple authors to your articles, the loop-single.php file and single_template_1.php can be found in wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/parts/single/loop-single-1.php -> https://i.imgur.com/k5BRPPU.png these need to be change in order to display multiple authors.

If you are updating the theme from Newsmag v4.7 to v.9.1 then the problem is the child theme, we rote an article about the major changes in Newsmag v4.9 -> https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/ , some files was moved from the theme core, therefore the child theme need to be replace with the one from the Newsmag v4.9.1 according to our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
If this is not the problem, then please provide some more details and some screenshots, or a link where I can indemnify the problem.

So using single post template you can stretch the featured image to the size you want, but from what I understand yo do not know how to make the images inside the content to be stretch inside the content, these are made using Gutenberg editor -> https://i.imgur.com/lfYZh05.png so the results will be -> https://i.imgur.com/ttjJ9fC.png just make sure that you edit the single post template and remove the sidebar, or choose one without sidebar.
