Hi,
There would be a method, it will require a modification to the mega menu block file. This topic is similar
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/is-it-possible-to-exclude-third-level-sub-categories-from-mega-menu/
You can make the modification in a child theme if you use one.
Thanks
Hi,
Both those images are set in the footer page the demo uses. You can edit the footer page like this for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/zqJd5cziV
The first image is set for the whole row as background (city image)
– https://www.screencast.com/t/eVQEjGNnehD
The second image is set as background for an inner row (dots image)
– https://www.screencast.com/t/IVVRFgiPHDE
Thanks
Hi,
There was an issue like you mention in the tagDiv composer, you must be using an older version. Currently the problem is solved. You should update the theme, edit the text elements with the issues and remove the slashes (they will not appear anymore after you do this)
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
If you cannot update the theme for some reason, there is a solution for the problem in this topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tagdiv-composer-and-apostrophes-in-text/
Thanks
Recently there were other priorities over the AMP plugin development, like the cloud library plugin for example. There are plans to implement many customization options for AMP in future updates, it may take some time however.
The next tasks for coming updates would be related to theme optimization in terms of performance, there will be some modifications made in this matter. Sorry again for any inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi,
If it is in the post content it will show up in the AMP version, but as a simple paragraph. It will not be treated in a special excerpt way, as it is with the AMP plugin you are using now.
Maybe in time something like that will be available in our plugin as well. Maybe consider to keep using the AMP plugin you have now which displays the post as required for you. We will try to focus more on the development of our plugin in the future.
Thanks
I specifically tried to not affect the bigger modules, I thought you only wanted this for the smaller modules.
It can be made to work on all the modules from the grid, this is the code
– https://pastebin.com/FwnYaMdH
Remove the previous code and enter this one.
Users will be able to access the AMP version of the post only through Google search. Google will serve the page from it’s cache. That would be how Google AMP works.
The rest of the mobile website visitors will see the responsive version of the website or the mobile theme version (if the mobile theme plugin is active).
By a setting that is not possible. It will require modifications to the design in the plugin code to make it centered. These will be lost after you update the theme however.
I believe this is on our list of suggestions and will be considered to be implemented in the plugin in the future. Maybe there will be a setting created for this specifically. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hi,
Our AMP plugin doesn’t have many settings at the moment, it is a simple plugin for basic AMP support.
If you require more advanced options and settings maybe consider using a different AMP plugin which can offer them. We will try to add more in our plugin in the future.
The logo used will be the one you set as the mobile logo in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/UBxD0RY8
The logo size will be limited like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/yEXhaHj153
This cannot be changed at the moment by a setting. So this would not be according to the requirements you mention unfortunately.
Worth noting that our AMP plugin also does not have a menu option for AMP at the moment. Maybe this will be implemented in the future. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi,
Would be the same like in the topic below. Changing the URL would cause this to happen
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/lost-facebook-shares-when-moving-to-https/
Glad it worked and sorry again for the inconvenience. Seems that despite multiple tests being made on our side some issues still happen.
Currently I can’t say when there will be another update, we try to fix as many issues as possible and add new features before releasing an update.
Hi,
What excerpts are you referring to exactly? This is how a post using our AMP plugin should look
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_crypto/td-post-ripple-ceo-and-ethereum-co-founder-bash-ico-industry/amp/
We based the design on the Yoast SEO website which looks like this
– https://yoast.com/social-media-optimization-with-yoast-seo/amp/
Thanks
Hi,
We can provide support by this forum or by email at contact@tagdiv.com (this is usually used for more investigations where admin login is required for example).
The forum topics are public, each user can see the topics, please do not post sensitive information like logins and license key. I will remove them from your post.
The theme supports PHP versions up to 7.2 if that is what you need to know. The theme and theme plugins should work properly in those circumstances. For SMTP you can rely on default WordPress or use a plugin.
Please let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
@dotnews You can check the AMP variant by adding /amp to the end of the URL, like this example from a live theme demo with AMP enabled
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_crypto/td-post-ripple-ceo-and-ethereum-co-founder-bash-ico-industry/amp/
A small guide here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
Let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
The path to the placeholder images is set in the general module file
– https://www.screencast.com/t/QiIpcwMSCJwn
That file is not supported to be modified in a child theme, if it would be a modification to the path would work. For example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/On9DXdtNNbh
But as it is you would have to modify the path in the module file after each update, in the main theme.
Thanks
Hi,
By a time period there is no sorting method. There is latest/oldest by publish date for example, but no limit by a specific time range or between dates. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks
Glad it works, I checked and the ads appear for me at the moment
– https://www.screencast.com/t/3G28dgtLHXv
Hi,
So you are having problems installing the WPBakery page builder? If you install it by FTP all you need to do is unzip the plugin and upload it in the WordPress plugins folder
– https://www.screencast.com/t/JtpQLGVQIR1
– https://www.screencast.com/t/d48vInFv7
Then activate it in the plugins section.
Or install the plugin with WordPress. Either way should work. What exactly are you doing and what is happening?
Thanks
Hi,
That isn’t actually wrapping around the image, the excerpt is displayed underneath the thumbnail and title.
From what I can see there is no block that displays the could do that. Even the many flex block examples designed by our theme don’t have a design like that currently
– https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Blocks
Maybe it is possible, I will add a design suggestion for a block/module like you mention. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi,
There would be a way to do that, but if there are many authors it will take some time because an author page template will have to be created for each author.
Author templates can be created with the tagDiv composer and cloud library plugin
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Blocks and grids can display pages as well. If you would create templates for each author you could place blocks or grids set to display pages and also filtered by author ID in them
– https://www.screencast.com/t/zyJkqZTPL5
This may take some time if there are many authors, each will require a template with a block or grid set to display pages filtered by specific author.
Currently there is a post loop which can simply be placed in various templates and will get content automatically, but only posts not pages. Maybe this will chnage in the future, can’t say for sure.
Thanks
Thank you for the feedback. We will make some more tests to try and identify why this happens. Sorry again for the inconvenience. If I should have more questions I will post them here.
Hi,
There will be an underline as the link is hovered. I could give you a CSS code to make the links in the post content have a dotted underline
– https://www.screencast.com/t/jgCVAHYBE1c
.single .td-post-content a {
text-decoration: underline dotted red;
}
This will affect all the links in the post content.
Or you could add a border bottom to the links, in this case the hover text decoration is getting in the way so it could be removed
– https://www.screencast.com/t/RrQ4m5nRdW
.single .td-post-content a {
border-bottom: 1px dotted red;
}
.single .td-post-content a:hover {
text-decoration: none;
}
Maybe these suggestions are helpful.
Thanks
Hi,
You could delete that code if this is required. It will only output the theme name and version, also speed booster version if used, as comments.
Thanks
Hi,
Maybe the theme did not install properly, please try and reinstall the theme, by FTP if possible
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Then clear all caching and purge CDN if used. If the problem remains try as a quick test to deactivate non-theme plugins, check if this has any effect. Let us know what the results are.
Thanks
WPBakery is always included in the theme package, in the plugins folder
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/
– https://www.screencast.com/t/4rHXCpGgL
This bundled plugin version dopes not require activation, install it and use it
