The reference to the post type would be in the main post file here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/LeVkeYN4GbX
If you know what modifications are needed you can also make them in a child theme, that file is supported
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
Hi,
Custom post types don’t have the same settings as default posts do. The theme will not offer many options for CPTs at the moment unfortunately. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi,
I am not aware of any plans in this matter at this time, could be implemented in the future. We try to add new features with each theme update, there are many suggestions and requests however (this suggestion is on the list). Sorry for any inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi,
There was an issue with the encoding of the characters in text elements and the tagDiv composer.
However using theme version 9.0.1 this should not happen, once removed they should not appear anymore in the same text elements.
Is the issue appearing again after you edit and remove the characters, in the same text element?
Thanks
The path seems to refer to a woocommerce.php file in the main theme folder. But there is no such file in the theme. Could you please check that and let me know?
Hi,
Please check if the tagDiv composer plugin is active. If you don’t use the tagDiv composer on your website, please change the sub-footer style to the non-multipurpose template
– https://www.screencast.com/t/1Lz6p1roD
If there is still a problem we could take a look. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin access, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
That’s unusual. When you click on an element in the tagDiv composer, there should be a highlight over the respective element and settings appearing on the left, in the composer sidebar
– https://www.screencast.com/t/PC5TskHyoJzE
What is happening in your case? We could take a look, provide admin access by email at contact@tagdiv.com and include a link to this topic.
Hi,
I checked one of your posts with the AMP validator, it seems there is an extra parameter added to all of the social sharing buttons, called “onclick”
In desktop there is no problem with this but AMP does not like it. The theme does not have this “onclick” element for the sharing buttons, did you maybe make modifications to the theme files?
Or maybe you use a plugin or custom code that affects the links?
Thanks
Hi,
Indeed, in case of cloud templates you can customize the fonts directly in the composer. Click on the desired elements and it should have font settings in the composer sidebar
– https://www.screencast.com/t/2NOVrvbjneQ
If the post has a review, you will have to add the review shortcodes in the post template
– https://www.screencast.com/t/1AeoWSPXdYa
Only then will the review be displayed. There are some templates with review shortcodes in them, but you can add these to any template
– https://www.screencast.com/t/BYwRLqFQj7
In case of smartlists, there are a few templates created by us which can be imported. Note that these templates don’t have the post content element in them, instead they have the single post smartlist element
– https://www.screencast.com/t/5erGmyNTfB
The disqus commenting system has not been tested by us in combination with the cloud templates. I believe this has been added on our list of suggestions and it will be considered, we will try to find a solution in the matter. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Please let us know if you have more questions. We will try to help you.
Thanks
Hi,
The theme modules will show only the primary category of the post, not all of them
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/primary-category/
This one tag can be enabled/disabled per module
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/category-tag-on-modulesblocks/
There is no option to display all of the categories the post has, in the modules. Sorry if this is an inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi,
I checked one of the posts that shows the wrong description in Google, seems to have a proper description which should be picked by Google
– https://www.screencast.com/t/OsBpAqMoSJYn
Maybe check some more online guides in the mater for more information
– https://kb.yoast.com/kb/my-meta-descriptions-arent-showing-up-in-the-search-result-pages/
– https://www.firstscribe.com/google-change-title-description-search-results/

Hi,
This kind of issue could be caused by insufficient resources. There are some requirements that should be taken into account
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Some hosting providers limit the parameters mentioned in the guide, this could create problems with the theme and theme plugins functionality. Increase them accordingly or contact the hosting so they can do it for you.
Thanks
Hi,
1/2 There are font settings for post page elements, in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/qMJrx1zs
These settings are general, once you customize them there all your existing and future posts will use them.
3. If you should use cloud post templates and customize the font settings there, these will override the settings in the theme panel.
You can customize the fonts in the composer, for the elements you want
– https://www.screencast.com/t/h6lJkQQrfoys
More about the cloud library plugin here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
This plugin will allow you to design your own post templates, there are also many templates designed by us which can be imported (and modified if needed).
Let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Can’t say for sure if the issue will be fixed after you update the theme. Many theme users have shop pages to display and sell products, with no problem whatsoever. Could be a matter of incompatibility between the plugin you mention and the theme.
Updating the theme is necessary in order to make use of the latest theme features, bug fixes, also to have a more secure website
– https://optimwise.com/why-update-wordpress-and-plugins/
The latest theme version is 9.0.1.
Hi,
Could be caused by the Cloudflare rocket loader, same as in this topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-search-appearing-on-desktop/
It is applied to all the thumbnails the theme creates, including the gallery
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-vs-featured-image-size/
It is not really an issue, that is how the theme is supposed to work. The focus will be on the center top of the images used.
Let’s take this image you use in the gallery for example, it has top and bottom empty space
– https://collabhype.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/black_panther_3.png
When the theme crops it and focuses on the center top, the result will be like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/oKFrFAX7UCJ
Having better results also depends on the images you use in the first place.
Using a regenerate thumbnails plugin is needed in these cases
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
In this case regenerating will not do anything, the same thumbnails will be created.
I suggested you try a gallery plugin which may display images differently. Maybe try installing a few and make tests in a test post, with the same images from your media library.
Hi,
Try the solution from this topic – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
If that has no effect, we could take a look as well. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, also cPanel or FTP if possible so we can investigate.
Please include a link to this topic in the email.
Hi,
Thank you very much for your appreciation of the theme. There are more new features to come in future updates.
Removing the HTML comments within the actual theme file would not be a permanent solution, after an update it will have to be done again.
Try a plugin maybe, such as this one
– https://wordpress.org/plugins/vg-remove-html-comments/
Thanks
Hi,
We are glad you like the theme. Regarding your question, the predefined templates can’t be customized. Only the cloud post templates can be imported and customized with the tagDiv composer, or you can create your own design (with a blank template).
What functionality is missing exactly? In case we missed something it will be added.
Thanks
Hi,
Seems that the shop page and the product page are empty from the header down. You could check if there are enough resources as a first step
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Be sure to check if this is available – https://www.screencast.com/t/So5ne5Qu
– https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/server-requirements/
There is also an error which seems to appear only in Woocommerce pages
– https://www.screencast.com/t/HI92BHsDhgK
You could also contact the hosting provider if possible and mention this to them, they might have some ideas.
Thanks
Hi,
Thank you very much for your appreciation of the theme. When a background image or color is set the website will be boxed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-introduction/
There are settings in this case to stretch the header and footer widths if necessary
– https://www.screencast.com/t/cGvqMapz7uz
You can use those to stretch the respective sections despite the background.
Please let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
Only posts can have reviews, posts with reviews will appear like this in modules
– https://www.screencast.com/t/CWvaIOAC2
Post templates can be created just like pages now however, with the cloud library plugin and the tagDiv composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
All the review implementation (including structured data) is created only for posts, so there would be no way of displaying actual reviews in a page in the theme.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
Thanks
That’s unusual, so this plugin is causing the problems with the media library? That is the cloud library plugin. Do you use the latest theme version (9.0.1)?
The plugin is not required, it is optional
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Hi,
Unfortunately there is no guide I can give you for this. The theme ad capabilities are simple and we tested only with default Adsense ads. You could search the forum for related topics and make tests however
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-responsive-ads-with-google-dfp/
Or maybe there are plugins through which you can manage these ads.
Thanks
You could create conditions in that code – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-add-ads-in-category-pages/
With this – https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/is_home/
