Hi,
You mean that all that code appears in the search results page? That would be unusual. I could take a look at this, post a link to your website so I can check a search results page.
Did you make any modifications to theme files directly or thorough a child theme? if you did remove them temporarily and test again.
Try to also test while having only theme plugins active, that will eliminate a plugin being the cause.
Thanks
That shouldn’t happen, maybe there is a problem with creating thumbnails. Usually regenerating the thumbnails will help
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Note that the GD library is required to be available
– https://www.screencast.com/t/vvv5vUvn8
It could also be a CSS problem, or plugin interference. There have been cases before when thumbnails or images in general were not displayed correctly because of various plugins.
If you could post a link to a page where this is happening I could take a look.
If the pages are built with the tagDiv composer or contain tagDiv composer shortcodes, or you used the cloud library plugin to create templates, then you should not deactivate the plugin. This will lead to problems, also code will be displayed in your pages.
Why did you deactivate the tagDiv composer exactly? We recommend this page builder to be used with the theme, more new features will be added for it specifically in future theme updates.
Maybe that code is causing the problem you mention with AMP. Deactivate the plugin and delete it, then install it again from the theme plugins panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/yyBKu6ciu
This will remove any code you might have entered in it’s files. You could also check the theme panel AMP ad code and analytics sections, you might have entered invalid codes there

Hi,
What exactly does not work regarding the socials you mention? if you mean the Facebook like button, seems to be disabled currently on your posts.
The Like button should function as it does in the theme demo, there is one at the bottom of this post for example
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/wordpress-news-magazine-charts-the-most-fashionable-new-york-couples-in-2016/
Facebook share works from what I can see, I checked one of your posts.
The WhatsApp share option will be visible only on mobile and when used it will open the mobile WhatsApp application and the post can be shared. This button will not be visible on desktop.
Thanks
Hi,
The process of installing a demo without content will import theme panel settings, custom design for some elements, no dummy content. It will not remove default WordPress categories, that is not supposed to happen.
An exception is if you at some point installed a demo with content, then used the imported demo categories as your own. In this case if you install a new demo the old demo will be removed completely, including the demo categories, posts, pages etc.
I am not familiar with the plugin you mention, could be a problem with the plugin if it’s content is lost. Maybe it got deactivated for some reason when installing the demo. It could also maybe be caused by the theme modifications you mention.
Hi,
All I can do is to add the requests/suggestions on our list, they are all going to be considered by our developer team and may be implemented in future updates. When they will be considered the best solutions overall will be found for each.
Currently the time based sorting methods would be the latest/oldest based on the publish time of the post.
There always are new options and features in development, these take time however to make and test.
Thanks
Hi,
Does it happen only with the homepage? We could take a look, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login access and details about how we can recreate the issue in your website.
We may need to deactivate all your non-theme plugins for testing. Usually this problem is caused by various plugins. Or you can test this before sending the email and let us know.
Hi,
You could try the solutions from these topics as a first step, they worked for various composer issues
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/
If the problem remains, we could take a look. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin access, as well as FTP or cPanel if possible.
Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
Hi,
Indeed, it is done with some CSS. Most demos contain custom design. I can give you the code that was used, it will work with header style 1 like the demo uses. If you use a different header style let me know.
The result after using the code will be like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/SpwvDMUHDVfW
This is the code – https://pastebin.com/4mhjXT2x
It can be entered in the Theme panel->Custom CSS code section
– https://www.screencast.com/t/fexxKKw6dFu
Thanks
I know now why it was not working properly, because you use a multi-purpose header style. It will require some modification and additions to the initial code.
This code will work now – https://www.screencast.com/t/T3778Nk12h
#td-top-mobile-toggle {
position: absolute;
right: 0;
}
.tdm-header .header-search-wrap {
right: auto;
position: absolute;
margin-left: 0;
}
Indeed it is as you say, only if you choose install demo with content the homepage will be provided.
Sorry if this is an inconvenience, maybe another demo installation option will be provided in the future. But at the moment there are only these 2 options.
The workaround for that would be to install the demo without content, they copy the homepage content like I mentioned above, from the theme files.
Hi,
As a first suggestion you could check the theme requirements guide carefully
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If needed contact your hosting provider to increase the allocated resources, or activate the needed PHP extensions.
Then try again to see if the issue is solved.
In case there is no need for modifications in that matter, in some cases the solutions from these topics worked for various composer problems, you could give them a try if possible
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/
Let us know what you find.
Thanks
Hi,
That may be a 500 error (an internal server error) like mentioned in this topic I found
– https://www.godaddy.com/community/Managing-WordPress/This-page-isn-t-working-HTTP-ERROR-500/td-p/54593
Or a browser issue, like in this Chrome related topic
– https://www.easytechguides.com/google-chrome-connection-errors.html
You could at first try in a different browser to rule out the browser being the problem. If there is still a problem you could contact your hosting provider and mention this to them.
Be sure to check the theme requirements guide as well
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Let me know what you find.
Hi,
Do you maybe use a SEO plugin? A SEO plugin can override the default WordPress title and tagline. For example with Yoast SEO
– https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/titles-and-meta-descriptions/
– https://kb.yoast.com/kb/yoast-wordpress-seo-titles-metas-template-variables/
Thanks
Could be a setting from the Super cache. I made some tests with the plugin active, kept modifying a page, saving it, then opening and modifying it again. Can’t recreate this issue.
Please check if you use only these settings in the cache plugin
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Guide is somewhat outdated, some settings were moved or renamed in the latest plugin versions, but they still do the same thing
– https://www.screencast.com/t/iHTdX6l08xp
I can’t see the image you posted – https://www.screencast.com/t/DsIXGHGBPNiI
For the post content only the inline ad has the option to align it left or right, the top and bottom ad do not have this option.
You could align them that way with CSS as mentioned above, may require some more styling however.
For example a top ad would look like this by default
– https://www.screencast.com/t/dWlDRZc3Yx
With the code and also some margin – https://www.screencast.com/t/AcPbJToSazH
In case of Adsense you could do the same, you could wrap the adsense code in a div and add style to it, for example
– https://www.bloggerspice.com/2013/02/how-to-align-adsense-ads-left-right-and.html
As long as there is not violation of the Adsense policies there will be no problem
– https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/1354736
Hi,
I initially checked with an Android phone which worked. Now that you mention I also tested with an iPhone and there is a problem, the scroll does not work for the grid in your website.
It works however with the same grid type in the live demo, so it seems to be specific to your website.
Try to place that grid in a new page, check if it works there on mobile.
If there is a problem in the new page as well, could be caused by a plugin. Try as a quick test to deactivate all non-theme plugins, clear the cache if you have any, purge CDN if you use it.
I could add it on our testing list for some investigation. I for example have a 404 template set from their introduction, it has not reset in the theme panel. Could be something specific.
If you notice anything more that could be of help please mention it.
You can still use the inspector I mentioned – https://www.linkedin.com/post-inspector/
The theme by itself will not add any og data necessary for sharing. Only through a SEO plugin will that work properly. We tested with Yoast which worked, so we can recommend it.
Other SEO plugins may work as well, as long as the og meta is present in the page source. LinkedIn specifies this in their documentation
– https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/46687/making-your-website-shareable-on-linkedin?lang=en
When I try to share the post you mention with LinkedIn there is a 500 error if you check in the browser inspector console, linking to the LinkedIn server it seems. Could be a temporary problem.
Facebook seems to work when debugging the post you mention
– https://www.screencast.com/t/N7iJ9oXo5
Hi,
The date the post was published will be displayed, in the post page and also on modules
– https://www.screencast.com/t/iJrpQ4aGkIpL
– https://www.screencast.com/t/CpZckodM
Using cloud library post templates there is an option to choose a ‘time ago’ format for the date in the post
– https://www.screencast.com/t/UEdhaC2T6
These would be all the capabilities in terms of post dates. If I misunderstood please correct me.
Thanks
That’s unusual, it works for me all the time. Try with !important after each value
#td-top-mobile-toggle {
position: absolute!important;
right: 0!important;
}
.header-search-wrap {
right: auto!important;
}
If it still does not work, provide a link to the website so I can take a look, could be stronger interference with other codes.
Hi,
There is indeed some squishing there, thank you for mentioning it. I will add this issue on our list and a solution will be found for those smaller modules.
If you want to keep using the slide, I could give you a code to make the two smaller modules same as the one above, on mobile. This would be the result
– https://www.screencast.com/t/552tkdNJMYf
In case you want to use this code, here it is
– https://pastebin.com/bnjRhn6M
It must be entered in the phones section here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/OV9NWGOQAvPB
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi,
Only the category tags will appear in the module, these aren’t supposed to display other tags. That is the case for all the block modules not just for the flex.
The single post tags element will show all the tags the post has been assigned, just like it is using the predefined post templates. You select which tags you want for a post when editing it, then these tags will appear in the post page.
Currently there are no setting to choose from all the post tags, which ones will be displayed. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Thanks
You won’t lose anything, updating the theme will not remove the website. All your posts, pages, theme panel settings are saved in the database.
Only if you made modifications to the theme files, these will be lost as the files get replaced.
Simply follow the steps from the update guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
It is good practice and also recommended to make a full backup before you update just to be safe.
Hi,
@haberler-kim Those are CSS codes, they can be entered in the theme panel sections
– https://www.screencast.com/t/hBBSXfurgqB
If you want to do the same as the user above, you could try these codes and see if they still work for top and bottom ads.
Only the article inline ad has the option to align the ad code
– https://www.screencast.com/t/CevRgWZF
If I misunderstand something please correct me.
Thanks
