Hi,
@epickenyan We are aware of this now, thank you for mentioning however. It seems that a post template for a smart list post should contain only the smart list shortcode, while the post content is to be removed from the single template. Leaving the post content along with the smart list shortcode would display the list twice, and probably broken. I don;t know if entering text before or after the smart list is a good idea. Indeed it seems the paragraph tags are missing. I will make a note of this as well.
This current functionality may change in the future. Sorry for any inconvenience, we appreciate the feedback.
Thanks
Hi,
Check the permissions on the uploads folder, that could be the cause
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-fix-file-and-folder-permissions-error-in-wordpress/
Also be sure to check the theme requirements
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Then try installing the demo you want again while having all other plugins deactivated, leave only theme plugins active.
If there still is a problem, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information, as well as FTP or cPanel access if possible. We will take a look.
Also include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
Hi,
For me the language switcher appears – https://www.screencast.com/t/TalEZYlY
This should appear in the menu you select, for every user, logged in or not. Please correct me if I misunderstand.
Thanks
Hi,
That is an Adsense ad, so an easy CSS option is not to be used. The theme panel ads once entered will be displayed on the whole website. Currently there is no option to disable the ads on preferred pages.
Theme users who require more advanced ad settings recommend the Adrotate plugin. Based on user feedback this plugin works with the theme, some infor about it here
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-manage-ads-in-wordpress-with-adrotate-plugin/
– https://ajdg.solutions/manuals/adrotate-manuals/
Thanks
I see you stretched it, it could be centered now like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/GMMxoFgZLhz
– https://www.screencast.com/t/iwV298SMG
@media (min-width: 768px) {
.td_stretch_content .td-container {
text-align: center;
}}
@media (min-width: 768px) {
.td-affix #td-header-menu {
display: inline-block;
}}
But the same will happen on smaller devices. That code can be entered in the normal custom CSS, not advanced if it is of any use to you.
Hi,
Each heading font properties can be customized for the post content, in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/VdclONSjWy
Thanks
Hi,
Did not know that author are limited in embedding, thank you for mentioning it. For user role plugins I can’t make any recommendations as I did not try any. Use the one mentioned in the same topic. Or this one for example
– https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/wordpress-user-roles-and-permissions/
Thanks
You could use the stretch row and content option instead, that will increase the column width
– http://prntscr.com/k1lpkz
If that is then too wide, you could reduce it by setting left and right padding for the text element
– http://prntscr.com/k1lvmd
Other than that I can’t think of anything else at the moment.
All the theme rows, columns and most elements can be hidden per device
– https://www.screencast.com/t/4bQTLFrzcRt7
– https://www.screencast.com/t/KnaMUficAmHx
So you could hide this row on mobile, and display a different or the same but with different settings for mobile.
You can set a background for the post content with the composer. Set it for the row or the post content element and check the results, they would be different
– https://www.screencast.com/t/p0l5qlgNWAW
Only the posts that have this template set will display the background, regardless of category. The templates can only be set in general or per post.
Hi,
I made some tests with some default ads, entered in the post template
– https://www.screencast.com/t/MHIe20Cobu
Once the template is saved and applied to a post, the post displays the ads
– https://www.screencast.com/t/GTwokucBbsb
What post template are you using? I will try it with that one as well. The ones I tried already work as intended.
That is not possible with our composer. It can be used to design templates only, which can then be applied to posts for example.
You should consider to keep using Visual composer if you already used it previously for posts. We will provide the plugin and update it regularly, same as before.

Hi,
That would be infinite loading, it is already present on our suggestion list. It may be implemented into the theme in the future, but for the moment such a feature is not available.
Thanks
Hi,
You can see the demo homepage content in the theme files, all the homepages can be seen. For the smart app demo here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/g6t26P85P6T
That is the content of that demo homepage. Place it in a page and edit it with the composer
– https://www.screencast.com/t/VBsWA58H
Then you can see what each element is and how the layout is achieved
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Oj6E6lqbYy
Be sure to check the CSS tab for the rows and elements, to replicate the design
– https://www.screencast.com/t/V0ybNlx4jj
Thanks
You can post a link to an image and I will take a look. Upload it using a free image upload website and paste the link here.
Hi,
@m2hewitt If that message is displayed, please update the plugin. There should be an update button in the theme plugins panel. Or you can deactivate and delete it then reinstall it from the same panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/z0cqhxsWx
After you activate it, please re-save the permalinks in WordPress settings.
@Prerit The AMP posts are working now – http://prntscr.com/k1l1ri
Thanks
Hi,
That image you provided does no longer exist at the moment
– http://prntscr.com/k1kqvh
What exactly are you doing and what is it happening? I will try to help you.
Thanks
Hi,
First of all please check the theme system status panel and this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Check if everything is set properly, if not ask your hosting provider to increase the allocated resources. Then check if the same happens.
Thanks
Hi,
You could try to create and use a robots file to disallow them
– https://yoast.com/robots-meta-tags/
– https://yoast.com/wordpress-robots-txt-example/
– https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-edit-robots-txt-through-yoast-seo/

There are more guides online about what the robots should contain for better results.
Hi,
Be sure to use the full size of the image when setting it as background, not a thumbnail
– https://www.screencast.com/t/zgWv8339NLNM
– https://www.screencast.com/t/hkXTywWok
Maybe you used a thumbnail size previously.
Hi,
If you use the same sorting for blocks and grids, there could be duplicates or even the same post displayed exactly. There are settings like filtering and sorting to try and avoid it
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
In case the same sorting is necessary, there is an offset option you can use
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/offset-feature/
Or, as I see you don’t use pagination for the elements in the homepage, activate the unique articles setting
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/unique-articles/
Thanks
Hi,
@tzabula I tried with your ID and board name, for me it works
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Sym8vH3V
Try as a test to change the ID and board name, check with others to see if the error is still displayed.
You should consider choosing a page builder and using only that one, that is the general recommendation.
If you were to edit a page built with WPBakery with the tagDiv composer, the page may be damaged. Some elements and layouts in them could be displayed incorrectly, or the functionality of them may not function correctly.
Hi,
The blocks you add in sidebars for example, will show posts according to your chosen sorting
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
An automatic functionality like for example simply placing the block in the sidebar, and this will automatically display posts in relation to the currently viewed post is not available. Only the related articles section on the bottom of the post page has this purpose
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/related-articles/
Thanks
Hi,
We could take a look as well, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login and cPanel if possible. Include a link to this topic in the email.
