Hi,
I see you are using the predefined post templates, these ones https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-default-templates/
So that is possible to do, with a plugin and this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/adding-multiple-authors-articles/
If you follow the steps from the guide, it will be possible to set and display multiple authors in the post page.
Thank you!
Hi,
That may happen, there could be mixed content issues. I have checked the website and at the moment it seems to look fine https://prnt.sc/ud12lt and it is secure, there are no errors concerning mixed content. I believe you solved the issue.
Thank you!
Hi,
That is the page top padding. There are a few ways to remove it. One would be to enter this code in the theme panel custom CSS section
.home .td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 0;
}
The result should be like this https://prnt.sc/ud11ah Please try it.
Thank you!
Hi,
What are these alerts exactly? Are they posts? You can split the rows in the composer into columns https://prnt.sc/ud0wwg
You can stretch the rows to have a wider layout https://prnt.sc/ud0xfj
You can use inner rows inside rows, to have even more columns if needed https://prnt.sc/ud0xyr
Then you can enter the blocks you want, check the cloud library as well, maybe you find one that you can use for this task https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Blocks There are quite many designs in the cloud library.
Each block has a post limit, you can limit the posts as needed https://prnt.sc/ud0za1
The guide is here https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
Hi,
This is how it is displayed at the moment https://prnt.sc/ud0riw Is that incorrect? You can customize the titles with the Yoast plugin, I see you have it installed https://yoast.com/meta-descriptions/
Thank you!
Hi,
That is possible, it is not mandatory to use cloud footer templates. If a cloud footer is set in the theme panel, please remove it https://prnt.sc/ud0pew -> https://prnt.sc/ud0pnr
Then you can choose from the default footer templates.
Thank you!
Hi,
That is the ajax menu, you can activate it for each block https://prnt.sc/ucxltu
Here is the block settings guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
If you have more questions let me know.
Thank you!
Hi,
That issue can have multiple causes when it happens. We will take a look, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to the website, and admin login. That would be the quickest way. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thank you!
Hi,
That is not possible, the excerpt length will be the same for all devices. Not all the settings in the composer can be set per device. The except will be the same at all times. You can show/hide it per device https://prnt.sc/ucxgvx maybe that is useful for what you would like to do.
There could be a CSS solution for this however, I could try and create a code for it. Please provide a link to the website, and mention for which elements you would like to do this.
Thank you!
Hi,
Seems that was not added up to this point. Hopefully it will be added in coming updates. It is on our request list, but there are many requests there, some were added, some will be. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you!
Hi,
That can be done manually or with a plugin, try a few suggestions from here for example https://blog.hubspot.com/website/best-table-of-content-wordpress-plugins
I can’t make a specific recommendation unfortunately. Try a few plugins and make some tests with them.
Thank you!
Hi,
There was an issue like you mention after the latest update, reinstalling the composer and clearing the browser cache (this is very important) solved the problem.
If it still does not work for you, we could take a closer look at it. You can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to the website and admin login. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thank you!
Hi,
That is possible like this https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-window/
If you are using the Gutenberg image block, the setting is here https://prnt.sc/ucx78l
Thank you!
Hi,
That is the infinite load for posts. It can be disabled if you do not want it. Please edit the post template with the composer, for example https://prnt.sc/ucx5b4 and disable it from here https://prnt.sc/ucx5ln
Thank you!
Hi,
I believe the post template you are using is this one https://cloud.tagdiv.com/what-happens-when-your-carryon-is-over-the-limit/
The images you enter in the post content should by default occupy the width of the post content, if they are large enough, like this image inside that demo post for example https://prnt.sc/ucx1a0
Please provide a link to a post that uses that post template, from your website, where the issue happens. I will take a look at how the images are displayed in it.
Thank you!
Hi,
We and I believe Envato as well, always scan the theme package available on themeforest. I have scanned however the theme itself, and the file your hosting mentions that contains malware, with virustotal -> https://prnt.sc/ucwt1p From what I can see there are no issues with it.
I believe you are using an older theme version, is that correct? The file you mention is not in the theme folder anymore, it is in the composer plugin. If you are indeed using an older theme, please consider updating https://tagdiv.com/newspaper/ The theme should always be kept up to date if possible.
Also if the website files do indeed contain malware, please try some suggestions from here for example https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-scan-your-wordpress-site-for-potentially-malicious-code/
Thank you!
Salutare,
Multumesc!
Hi,
You can use higher PHP versions, there should be no problem. The guide does suggest 7.2, but using higher versions won’t cause problems as far as I know.
Thank you!
Hi,
That seems to happen in some cases, normally it should work fine. Please try what is suggested at the bottom of this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/cant-register-the-theme/
Or send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to the website, admin login, and the key so we can do it.
Thank you!
Hi,
Seems there isn’t enough space to display all the menu items in a line on mobile. One solution would be to decrease the space between them on mobile. So for example while on desktop a 15px margin will be alright https://prnt.sc/ucwbdo on mobile you could reduce that to about 8px https://prnt.sc/ucwbun
The result should be like this https://prnt.sc/ucwcdq if you set it to 8. Please give it a try.
I could try and think of other methods if you should not consider that a solution.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please provide a link to the website, so I can inspect the issues you are mentioning.
1. If you use the mobile theme plugin, the website should look like this on mobile https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
2. I will check once I can see the website.
3. That should be fine, if you do not need a logo (image or text) then you can simply not use one.
Thank you!
Hi,
That is a non-PRO demo, it uses the page template + latest articles template. The settings for the latest articles section in this case can be accessed like so https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
To remove it, select for example the default page template.
Thank you!
Hi,
A link to the website would be very helpful, so I can see what is happening exactly in the AMP version. Please provide it and I will check. Are you referring to post pages? Let me know.
Thank you!
Hi,
As with any plugin, in some cases there are issues unfortunately, we try to solve them as soon as possible. Most of the topics you mention are related to an issue that happened after the latest theme update, which is solved now. In other cases, that happen in specific websites, we also try to help.
What is the problem you are having using the composer exactly? If it does not work correctly for you, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com so we can take a look at it. Hopefully we can identify what is causing the problem.
Thank you!
Hi,
That is the theme lazyload, are you using any other lazyload besides the one from the theme, from a plugin maybe? If multiple lazyload options are active at the same time, that can create problems with the images.
Thank you!
