Hi,
First please reinstall the theme (by FTP is recommended)
Update all theme plugins, the composer and multi-purpose plugins are now version 2.0. Deactivate all other plugins and child theme if used. Clear all caching installed and CDN files if used.
Contact your hosting provider and check with them if there are any issues with the server. Ask them to check error logs and investigate as well if possible.
If there is still an issue, it may not be caused by the theme. You can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information. Provide FTP access as well. Also included a link to this topic in the email.
Provide more details about the issue in the email, this will be helpful in the investigation. We cannot recreate such issues in any of our testing, there is no similar problem for most users who have updated the theme.
Thanks
Hi,
That is happening because of the inline styling of the review style. It ads inline styling such as this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/NXi6q2w3
Inline style attributes are not allowed in AMP pages. I will add this on our list and it will be fixed as soon as possible. Sorry for this inconvenience.
The analytics code can be entered in the dedicated section provided in the AMP settings, according to the instructions
– https://www.screencast.com/t/VzL1eG8fH
How exactly are you testing the results? Simply visiting your post on desktop with /amp or visiting it directly will probably not provide any results (or inconclusive). Maybe try waiting for a period of time and check periodically.
Thanks
Hi,
1. AMP pages do not display a menu, it is not missing as a bug. That is similar to Yoast website, which is leading among SEO solutions
– https://yoast.com/social-media-optimization-with-yoast-seo/amp/
This is subject to change, that means that in the future adding a menu may be considered.
2. A decision was made regarding the social styles leading to the current implementation. The style cannot be changed at the moment as it can be seen in the AMP settings, options to select more styles may be introduced in a later plugin update.
3. We will try to improve the AMP documentation as soon as possible regarding it’s settings. Basically for Adsense ads you have to enter the required ad parameters in the provided fields and that is it
– https://www.screencast.com/t/7EhwRKCzaHwq
For custom ads (like simple banners) you have to enter the code in the field below
– https://www.screencast.com/t/eVwS9GzH
4. The featured image cannot be removed from the post page, there is no setting for that at the moment. The plugin may receive a setting to allow you to disable the featured image on AMP pages, in a future update. If this is required for you now, you could edit the template file from the plugin
– https://www.screencast.com/t/vh9jpXtBJoWM
5. The search link is not broken, it will lead to the search form on your website. It will be an empty search page
– https://www.screencast.com/t/7oi9UxzK
If you were to search for a term it is like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ZHZIii30T1
That “-” is a delimiter between search term and “search results”.
6. I have tested all the dropcap styles in an AMP enabled post, these are the results
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Qo6smmCGvk
The styles are displaying normally from what I can see, please provide some more details about the issues you are having with the dropcaps on AMP.
Dropcaps can be set here – https://www.screencast.com/t/wLrqwUrP8p5
Quotes here – https://www.screencast.com/t/mCQBFDksVcCu
Pages can be used with AMP if needed, the pages must be created similar to posts however (without page builders). There is an option to enable AMP on pages in the theme panel settings.
Please note that all suggestions are noted, and all identified issues with the AMP plugin will be fixed as soon as possible.
Thanks

Hi,
Now it seems the mobile version is displayed on desktop
– https://www.screencast.com/t/gHlhhXCyU5
Something is not functioning properly on the website.
Please try to clear the cache in the super cache settings, then deactivate it. Check if the issue is solved. If you have any hosting or server provided cache disable it. If you have entered code in theme files or custom code sections, temporarily remove it. If you use a child theme, switch to the main theme. Let us know the results.
Thanks
Hi,
Also make sure there are sufficient resources, check the theme system status
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Ask your hosting provider to increase the parameters mentioned in the guide if necessary. Then check to see if the composer works properly.
Thanks
Hi,
You could edit the post template used. Each post template style has a corresponding loop-single file (located in the main theme folder). Editing one of these files you can see the post structure
– https://www.screencast.com/t/V7VODUrwy
So you could insert the code you use to display the custom field in the location you want.
Thanks
Hi,
Please check the widgets currently included in the sidebar. It could be related to a particular widget, since I see the warning is not present in all sidebars. Try removing the widget positioned in that place and see if the message is still displayed. Let us know the results, which widget caused the issue.
Thanks
Hi,
First of all make sure you do not have any adblockers enabled. For Adsense ads on AMP you simply have to enter the required ad information in the provided fields
– https://www.screencast.com/t/7EhwRKCzaHwq
For custom ads enter the custom ad code in the provided field
– https://www.screencast.com/t/eVwS9GzH
Be sure to test on mobile devices or browser inspector mobile emulator.
Thanks
@RezNation The website seems to be working properly at the moment with the latest theme version installed
– https://www.screencast.com/t/a8T4m55Aq
Please mention what problems you are having exactly.
@My Beautiful Europe The website seems to be working at the moment from what I can see
– https://www.screencast.com/t/kzcG5jkG
The 502 error would be server related, if it is still happening you could contact the hosting provider and have them check logs and help with the situation.
Thanks
Since the original poster did not continue the investigation, it would be safe to say that plugins were causing the issue. Try the same suggestion, deactivate all plugins except theme plugins. Then the mega-menu option should be visible for each menu item
– https://www.screencast.com/t/GSKHgZ7nE
Hi,
Is the problem specific to the homepage? Does the rest of the website display properly? Edit the homepage with the composer and check if the content is still there.
The update will not erase page content, everything should be as before. Very important to clear every cache installed and CDN as well if used. If you use a child theme, temporarily switch to the main theme. Deactivate all third party plugins if possible, leave only them plugins active. Let us know the results.
Thanks
@kwacha If you could contact us by email at contact@tagdiv.com we will investigate. Make sure both tagDiv composer and multi-purpose plugins are updated. They are now version 2.0
– https://www.screencast.com/t/wanXBak8fa41
Sorry for this inconvenience, there should be no problem after updating to the latest theme version as long at is made properly (FTP recommended) and theme plugins are updated. Problems can be caused by third party plugins or maybe child themes (switch to main theme if you use one).
Please also include a link to this topic in the email.
You can install the demo and use any images you want and also image optimizations if needed. The homepage is built for demo purposes. It is built entirely using the new flex block element
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/flex-block/
Each element in the page content is a flex block.
There are many differences between the latest theme version and version 8.0. The tagDiv composer has received a huge amount of new features. The multi-purpose plugin was introduced which adds more options in the composer and theme panel. Also now there is AMP support and a Newsletter plugin. Theme now also supports PHP version 7.2 for increased performance.
Check the Features menu in the live demo to see some of the improvements
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
Thanks
Hi,
Visual composer (now WPBakery Page Builder) has not received any updates, the latest version is 5.4.5 which is included in the full theme package (plugins folder)
That issue you are having is most likely caused by having the tagDiv composer activated. This composer is activated by default when the theme is installed or updated. Please deactivate it from the plugins section and check the results.
Thanks
That is usually caused by caching. Clear everything, installed caches or server provided, CDN cache if used, also clear browser cache. Also if you use a child theme switch to the main theme. Then check the results.
The tweet button is no longer included in the share, so if you made the updated and it is still appearing then chances are your content is served from cache.
@gooma2 That error can happen in these cases
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/errors-happened-during-tdciframedata-init-bindviewsmodelswrappers-14/
Do not edit pages built with Visual composer, with the tagDiv composer. If you want to switch to the tagDiv composer, create new pages entirely with it. You can also deactivate the tagDiv composer and keep using Visual composer. It will still be provided in the theme package and updated.
I will try to help you, but I don’t quite understand what you are trying to do. I see you have removed the bottom sharing code and inserted a PHP code in the bottom sharing section on posts. The text contained in the code is now displayed accordingly from what I can see.
Any code you insert there will be displayed instead of the bottom sharing socials. Please correct me if I misunderstand.
HI,
@dekajayanta We have not made any tests with instant articles plugins, I could not say why that is happening unfortunately.
@irfan.id Glad you could solve the issue and everything is working properly now.
Thanks
Hi,
If the provided code is valid then there should be no problem. You could test the code in a different environment and it see if it works. Maybe there is something wrong with it. I get a few warnings when entering the code you mention
– https://www.screencast.com/t/xKPPt8aVm94B
Thanks
I don’t understand exactly what you are referring to. Block 4 looks like this
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-4/
It can have any block header style you want
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-header-1/
Also as widgets there are options to style the title with these header styles.
If you could provide some more details about what exactly you want to do, it will be very helpful. Some screenshots if possible as well.
I have tested with WP super cache active, there is no problem accessing AMP pages. The 404 error would appear if AMP is not enabled and you are tying to access an nonexistent URL. Clear the cache and try again with total cache. Or try the super cache plugin.
