Hi,

That is the way the mobile theme is designed. It displays posts from the featured category. Here is where this implementation is made – https://www.screencast.com/t/fsxzBb9s You could probably add a category id like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/JX6JmneOxBK and insert a category id, so it should display featured posts from that category only, and also change the sorting but this is not tested properly and it could provide unexpected results.
Please correct me if I misunderstood what you wanted.

Thanks

Hi,

This could be a caching issue, please try to clear your cache and check the result. Here is a guide to help you configure the WP Super Cache plugin – https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ maybe there is a setting you overlooked.
Also if you consider to update the theme to the latest version, here is a tutorila to guide you through the process – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and do not forget to update the bundled plugins as well, from the theme package.

Hi,

@Pierreto
The code seems to work properly if this where you want it to apply – https://www.screencast.com/t/fA4jzSRToSQ Make sure you enter all the code in Theme panel, because none of the values set in the code are present at the moment in your case. Also it is very important to clear your cache after you enter the code.

Thanks

Hi,

The easier way to do this without modifying the theme files, would be to use some custom css like in this example – https://www.screencast.com/t/4YHOH6rPF
Here is the code used, you must enter it in Theme panel->Custom Css

.single .td-tags li span {
display: none;
}

Hi,

That happens because a call is being made to load the required font – https://www.screencast.com/t/a6LnuyLlTG and in an offline state the call is not possible. You can work on the site while offline, the font will be loaded when an internet connection is available.

Hi,

There is an option for this, but only for the rows on the page – https://www.screencast.com/t/4mnvIpbRo so you could disable the whole row, and not delete it. However for individual blocks from inside a row containing multiple blocks, there is no way to disable them without deleting them. You can always save your template like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/GORMu6Rl9R and temporarily remove the unwanted blocks, then just use the saved page template in the future.

Hi,

Unfortunately there is no option to set ads for the category pages, without the use of a sidebar. However you can try the suggestion provided in this topic, and manually insert a do shortcode with a custom ad in the category template files – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/two-questions-please/

Hi,

@amp31
You can find how the theme handles the featured video in the screenshots links provided above. Please note that you will have to make the wanted modifications to the theme files yourself, or you could hire a freelancer/developer to help you if it proves to be a difficult task, because we can not provide any custom work at the moment, sorry.

Thank you for understanding!

Hi,

@cns04055
The screenshot was not removed – http://www.screencast.com/t/5J6npipZR it is working fine. What you have to do is go to Theme panel->Social Networks and remove or add the account links you desire.

Hi,

1. This could be taken into consideration in a future theme update, but I can not say for sure when it will be implemented, it is up to the developer team to decide what features have priority in the increasing list of suggestions and improvements.

2. The plugin may work in some context but interfere in another. Some users seem to be using it with favorable results, but in this case it affects the sorting in the popular category. Maybe there is a setting in the configuration of the plugin that you may have overlooked or you could change to restrict any action in the popular categories.

Thanks

Hi,

I do not understand how the code does not work, on my end this is what happens when the code is active – https://www.screencast.com/t/MkWxEycJQHshttps://www.screencast.com/t/UejZxgpu0uHv I have checked most of your website and applied the code where there is a problem, and it works properly. Try adding the !important rule after the position statement value in the code, maybe for some reason it is not applying on your end and check the results.

Hi,

Well it seems to be loading after a few page refreshes, so the problem is not present at all times. Try using a different ad code, or enter this one in a different spot, as a test. Also disable any caching to see if this influences the result.

Thanks

Hi,

If this is not a server issue, please try to deactivate all your plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache, purge cdn files and check again. Also you could use the WP Super Cache for your website, here is a guide to help you with the configuration – https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ This tutorial is also useful and you should follow the steps mentioned to improve page loading speed – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/

Hi,

If you configured the social counter properly – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/ please note that there could be some delay between the data synchronization, so just give it a little more time.

Hi,

Sorry I did not spot this earlier. Unfortunately if you use a smart list, this will open the modal image regardless of the existence of a custom url set on the image. Only smart list style 8 can do this at the moment – https://www.screencast.com/t/lHY7K78yG0 to open a custom link when the image inside the list is clicked, with the modal feature disabled. There could be improvements in this matter in future theme updates, but at the moment this is the way the smart lists work. I am very sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi,

I see that you have managed to find the answer – https://www.screencast.com/t/4uADOLUufq When using the mobile theme plugin you must use the mobile editor to add content to the pages – https://www.screencast.com/t/RNKpH0yV you can find more information regarding the mobile theme here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Hi,

There could be a plugin out there with that capability or something similar, you could search for it online. Maybe some of our users can share their experience with such a plugin and provide you with an answer regarding this.

@Miucat
If you want to remove the header ad, you could remove the code from the theme panel,in the header ad field – https://www.screencast.com/t/tJyf2dWryh

Hi,

We are sorry that you feel that way about the theme. Every user is entitled to his own opinion, we try our best to solve all the issues, if possible.

1. These are the plugins that are recommended to be used along with the theme, and periodically tested to work properly – https://www.screencast.com/t/zEaZ8Amv As it can be seen the WordPress SEO by Yoast is on that list so it is fully compatible. Here you can find a guide to help you configure it – https://yoast.com/wordpress-seo/ if you are having problems.
Also the theme has only one stylesheet by default and I believe that you are using a plugin for optimization, that could be causing these results.

2. These are all the blocks available in Visual composer as it can be seen in the demo – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/ also the big grids – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-1/ and we are sorry that you can not find one to suit your purposes.

3. Unfortunately at the present time you will just have to ignore the activation message from Visual composer, a solution may be provided within a future update regarding this.

Please consider that the Newspaper theme is and always was in a continuous improvement process, and the developer team is always looking to satisfy our customers with optimizations in every possible field. If you are not happy with your purchase, you can always request a refund and we will approve it.

Thank you for understanding!

Hi,

Unfortunately there is no theme option available to have different colors on the modules/blocks. You can however create your own custom code to make these modifications, using this tutorial here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/ and identify the elements used on the page and their classes.

Hi,

Please make sure the host meets these minimum requirements as specified here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ and also make sure you modified the required parameters in your wordpress install as suggested above. Also disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache and purge cdn files, then check to see if you have any more errors. If all the conditions are met, everything should work properly regarding the theme. Here is a guide to help you configure cloudflare if you want to read – https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/

Hi,

You can use this guide to create different styles of mega menus – https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/ Please follow the steps as described in the tutorial and you should have no problems. Basically you should just use a root menu item and make it a mega menu – https://www.screencast.com/t/rlkK0uBF1gZM You can find related information with a search on the forum, like this topic – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/creating-mega-menu/

Hi,

This is most likely caused by a plugin or customization to the theme, causing issues with the transitioning opacity set on the images, which fails to load properly. As suggested above, try to disable all the plugins except Visual composer and clear the cache to see if the problem persists. A quick fix that might work for you, would be to try and disable the lazy load feature in theme panel – https://www.screencast.com/t/cyYcMGRuR
Also if you should consider updating the theme to the latest version, as well as the bundled plugins, here is a guide to help you through the update process – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

Thanks

Hi,

Everything seems to be in order, and if you have no issues in utilizing the Visual composer editor in your pages, then it is working properly. What I meant was about the Update notice that you mentioned in your previous reply and if you have any problems with the editor, in which case please let us know if this is preventing the functionality of Visual composer or you are experiencing any problems.

Thanks
