The latest articles option and related posts come from WordPress not from Newspaper Theme. You can disable it from here as you can see: https://www.screencast.com/t/uzXRgXTiHlH You can disable that and replace it with a Flex block that has more editing options.

From what I see on your topics I would suggest to replace your demo with a PRO one or start creating templates for what you want to edit. For example you cannot edit your header because you are using a standard header. In order to modify it you will need to use a Cloud library template for it. The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.

You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !

Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:
