I do installed all from the zip files but still need to upgrade and activation.

I have removed the comment count from each post using the newsmag theme panel, but I was wondering if there is any way to remove the comment count from appearing on the homepage?
Also, I downloaded a mobile app plug-in which unfortunately made my newsmag slider stop working on mobile. Despite having completely deleted the plug-in, it seems that some coding has remained that makes each of the slider images stack on top of each other in mobile view. Do you have any tips on how I could get my slider to work again?

So right now, on MOBILE VIEW menu (I don’t have mobile theme installed), when I click on menu symbol, I can only see my main categories. Behind every main category there is an arrow, and only when I click on the main category, the subcategories are displayed. Otherwise they are hidden…
Now I have seen on other websites, for example in the example below, where subcategories are displayed under main categories (with indented position) right when you click on menu symbol:

Any idea on how I can make the home slider link to another site? For example, we have a graphic that is going to be displayed on the home slider, (the Slide element) and it needs to link to an external link.
I was playing around with how to do this, using posts, but that still links to a post. Is there a way to link it directly to a new url?

I suppose that you want to have different ads to your different sidebars, right? So, if you want to do that, you should use the Custom Ads (1,2,3,4,5) -> and then you should use, for example, Custom Ad 1 for your Sidebar 1, and so on. I will create minisites with subdomains like gadgets.example.com, or tech.example.com.

The page menu basically shows whatever you add on a page. Here is an example.

I’ve noticed a lot of my blogs competitors going to AMP pages in the last few weeks so I want to get it done before Google rolls out an AMP carousel.

The set up works perfectly on our setup and has done for months now.

The sample ad of newspaper having dimension of 300 x 250 is centrally aligned in the sidebar. Where as the ads I use having same dimension of 300 x 250 (whether google ads or any other ads) stay left aligned, leaving lot of white space on the right.

The demo does look good. Mine is I guess mobile but everything isn’t showing up responsive.

Pretty sure this is the default style.
So I noticed there is an option to use a full page in the mega menu. I look on all the demos but I didnt see any examples where a full page was used. When I tried it I saw all comments, side bar etc appear. Is there anyway to use the page as a menu where it only shows what is in the page’s content box?

First of all, great theme.
Secondly, I would like to suggest my humble opinion and questions in these matters:
1. You guys should definitely consider adding a swipe image effect on lightbox galleries. Arrows are so old these days. Even mobile lightbox is still using arrows.(such as https://github.com/dimsemenov/PhotoSwipe)
Is there a way to adapt such effect using theme hooks or API?
2. Please add sidebar menu on desktops as well, for an option.
2. Please add more developer controls (hooks). For example it would be great if you could add an action right under td-outer-wrap in header.php. Interestingly, you added after header action but no before header action.
Another example here is, I want to add an icon right next to search bar, and I can’t because there is no hook there. I think developer controls are important in a theme.
Which comes to my question.
I want to add content right before header, without modifying the actual theme code. I don’t want to copy and change header.php, because every time theme updates I would need to check the header code if it’s changed.
How can I add a content before header?

you will have to play around in visual composer a bit and learn how to add and remove content blocks from your pages. Please dit the page from the wordpress pages section and access the backend editor to see the page content. @insomniac79 our example ads that we placed in our demos, were just placed as a demo for you to see what goes where. hey were not set according to any google rule, but rather just as an example. the theme provides multiple ad spots and multiple ad sizes for each viewport. It is up to you how you use them. The theme cannot know what ads you want to use and how you want them or how google wants them. The theme provides multiple settings and it;s up to each individual to how he uses these settings.
@emula This could be another thing altogether. Please ope a new topic and provide as many details as you can and a link to your site so we can inspect it.
