My questions are not directly in relation with the theme but maybe the TagDiv community and their dev could help me.

In our site http://www.virtualmagie.org (still in test), I want to restrict some categories and pages to certain groups of people.

But I want that a non member could see the name, photo and execerpt of all the articles.
Just a need that it obvious that the article will be restrict with for exemaple an icon of a lock/key for example like here:

And when those people click on a restrict article there is only the begining of the article and just under a indication to login or sign in like here:

So my questions are:

1/ In all the member management plugin, is there some which do that directly?

Tagdiv Hi. In version 4.X i had put adsence code on tag.php, index.php and category.php files, to show ads over the numbers of pages. Example: http://grab.by/IAK4, http://grab.by/IAKm

i make the changes on same files on version 6.2 but the ads doesn’t show http://grab.by/IAKe

I’m in the process of setting up the Newspaper 6 theme for our existing WordPress site and have a few questions / feature requests. But first a big thanks for creating such a cool and comprehensive theme!

1. Is it possible to change the thumbnail sizes so it reflects our existing image ratio? Our existing featured images are 480×280 so it would be great if I could set certain thumbnails to use a 48:28 ratio and the images don’t get cropped.
2. Instead of the Ajax Filter I would like to place a custom text or hyperlink right of the block title. Per example the title of the module is Daily News and I would like to add a text / link to the right: Powered by Nike. I noticed most people in the Newspaper showcase topic don’t use the ajax filter so this could be interesting for a lot of users.
3. Is it possible to auto embed a banner in the middle of the post text? So not above or below the article but in the middle without manual insertion.
4. In the author box the authors URL is displayed with http:// in front of the url. Can this http:// be removed as it looks odd. Per example: http://Google.com should just be Google.com
5. Is it possible to rename the Trending Now box to Breaking News?
6. Is it possible to remove the more from author tab on single posts?
7. In post style 3 and post style 4 on single posts is it possible to remove the hyperlink under the featured image? It is already shown large no need to link to a large version.
8. On category pages we used the category description and category image before. Is it possible to show them at the top of the category page?
9. Is it possible to show the featured articles in that category + sub categories at the top of the category page?
10. We already used a category for features, is it possible to change the source category for featured articles from featured to features?
11. Is it possible to set a new default image for all authors?
12. I saw it is possible to create custom blocks based on existing modules but for our homepage we have some other wishes. How can we create additional modules?
13. Is it possible to set a different header background color for smaller screen sizes? Per example on desktop the header looks best in white but on mobile the bar with logo would look better in black.

How can I do more categories in article? For example. To homepage you have category Lifestyle and in “top menu” u have other categories as Bussines,Health & Fitness, Recipes, Travel. How can I do it please? 🙂

I just updated to theme version 6.2 – now the meta tags (titles, meta description) from yoast wordpress seo plugin are no longer woring on posts and pages.

I already deactivated / activated the plugin, updated the plugin to newest version.

Could you please check if there is an incompatibility with the plugin and your latest version.

We are operating following website which is used Newspaper which I bought last december.

Though comment space is displayed in Some articles, in other article isn’t. So I want to ask the solution of this problem

Because I want to set JETPACK’s comment space just under contents, I commented out <?php comments_template(”, true); ?> from 「single.php」 and 「single template_1〜5.php」. Then, I inserted <?php comments_template(”, true); ?> to 「loop-single.php」「loop-single1〜5.php」.

The articles include comment space which is publish after changing, but previous articles don’t. If we don’t use JETPACK comment, the result is same.

Please let me know how to solute.

Also our image do no display on the mobile theme for example an IPAD and when using the Iphone no posts at all are displayed.

We are working on PC and Android

A friend just test the site on his latest Mac OS version on Firefox and Safari and iPad iOS and on click on the loop for searching, the block under with the field don’t show.

A test on a old Mac OS on Safari and Chrome and noticed that the font on the menu is not the good one.

I’d like to display another logo in the header when a visitor comes to a particular category.

example:
Category 1 = Logo A
Category 2 = Logo B
Category 3 = Logo C
….

I would like to implement this with this code:
