Hi Calin!
These rules
(obviously with the bottom rule also active)
seem to be working fine, but with one exception:
When you are on the cart page and you remove an item from the cart this does not show on the cart include in the menu (top right)
If we can be more specific on the files that need to be bypassed from caching it may actually work.
When I click on the edit button, this is what i get. SEE URL above.
Hi,
I’ll start by saying I’m a novice. I may use incorrect terms. Sorry in advance.
On my website (Newspaper Pro theme), I have an issue with blog article pages using the Mobile Theme whereas the other pages do not. I wish to not use the mobile theme as it does not display all my elements (my main issue), and the header/footer are not my preferred style (secondary). The issue is only present on blog articles. When you scroll to the bottom of any blog article on a mobile device and tap “Exit mobile version,” the page then displays as I would like. The home page and other pages properly display with no issues, as in they do not default to the Mobile Theme.
Any suggestions?
My mobile settings are:
USE MOBILE THEME FOR: AMP
MOBILE THEME ON MULTISITE: [not checked]
My website is: https://storybookamusement.com/
Thank you for your time.
Hi,
I am using Newspaper theme. I just published a post. But I can’t see the Featured Image option in the right-hand sidebar of the post. It was there earlier but has disappeared. Please help.
Thanks & Regards … Renu Bakshi
Hi,
Yes, you can display for a page and posts the responsive version if you are using the Gutenberg editor. For this use the option from the right corner -> https://i.imgur.com/nAGJe7s.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
The mobile theme plugin provide 3 options:
To be used only one mobile, to be use only on amp and to be use on both -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
To see which one you have please check in the theme panel > mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/dcOvXdJ.png
Thank you!

This issue, not happening before, is causing a peak of resources on the server. Not very worried about it cause we just create a few post per day, but any idea about this? Im just thinking on downgrading wordpress to 5.8.3 but maybe it´s and issue related with the template and you have to look for it
If I want to use AMP, which one should I choose?
We are using both the mobile site and the AMP plugin that you recommend.
Surely you will agree that we are using both to increase page speed and reduce the page size.
Oddly however it appears that the site is loading images of size 1536×864 on the mobile site as well. Isn’t that a bit too large for a tiny thumbnail?
A simple blog category page with 10 thumbnails is over 3 MB. Something doesn’t seem right!
Hello @gwk!
You can place a sidebar very easy using our builder the tagdiv Composer plugin.
For example, you can add the sidebar from tagdiv Composer. Steps:
1. Add 1 row
2. Split into 2 columns( 2/3 + 1/3 )
3. You can add whatever element you want into the second column and consider it a sidebar.
Take a look here in this video for example where I build 6 columns: https://www.screencast.com/t/mZ2c5XamTFN
Thank you!
Hello @positivenewsfoundation !
It seems that you use the Mobile Theme plugin, so you can not edit the pages with TagDiv Composer. You have only some settings for this layout, which you can find in Theme panel -> Mobile Theme. Please note that if a page is made by Composer, than the content won’t be displayed on Mobile theme version. You should create the content with the Mobile Editor.
We have 3 options of mobile versions:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates/design for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
You can choose to use which one is more affordable and useful for you. For example, if you will deactivate the Mobile theme plugin, then it will loads the responsive version automatically.
Thank you!
I am currently loading google fonts with the help of Additional CSS
@import url(‘https://fonts.googleapis.com/css2?family=Noto+Sans&family=Open+Sans:ital,wght@0,400;0,600;0,700;1,300;1,400;1,600&family=Roboto:ital,wght@0,300;0,400;0,500;0,700;0,900;1,400;1,500&display=swap’);
Hi there!
Please check this image
The AMP plugin is correct but my mobile theme page is not getting converted to AMP properly
Hello @iamratnesh!
When you use Mobile Theme then the pages will be overwritten by the plugin. In order to use AMP, you should install the Mobile theme and AMP plugin. Please make sure you downloaded the right AMP plugin which is installed and active and you’ve set the option Mobile + AMP. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
Thank you!
Hello!
From what I can see you change the h1,h2 from the pages, but in your example that is a post/article. If you use a cloud template, then you should make the changes in the TagDiv Composer and not from the theme panel.
Thank you!
Hello,
The element is called Page Title, and you set it on the header -> https://i.imgur.com/9oFWerI.png, you need to set the element in the main content.
On the homepage display -> https://i.imgur.com/mfJXz5G.png but for cloud template will display “Sample Page Title”
Thank you!
Hello,
Our developers have done some tests and fixed ones, I don’t know exactly the date and time, but we will try our best to deliver the next update in a short time.
Also, please let us know what problems you encountered after the WordPress update and please make sure that the problem is not with a plugin you are using.
For example for me, using only tagDiv plugins works well and I can create a new post -> https://i.imgur.com/bmd0arx.png
Thank you!
The content in the sidebar section is not showing up on the right side of the screen. When you scroll down and then scroll back up, the content that should be in the sidebar displays on top of the post. Any idea what could be causing this?
Example: https://pbcvoice.com/4word-hosts-tenth-anniversary-celebration-online-gala-for-the-girls/
thewav613.com | issue with “sample page title” showing on published pages but does not show in editor.
Why is ‘Sample Page Title” showing on our site? For some reason I cannot upload a screenshot, but in our tagdiv editor there is nothing showing “sample page title” but when my site is published, it shows “sample page title”. Here is an example in our shop:https://thewav613.com/shop/
It is much appreciated if anyone can refer or assist in correcting this issue that shows up on several pages.
Hi,
On standard mobile menu & search (not AMP), how can I change the background color?
Also, how can I change the font colors of the items in the mobile menu (atm active is blue on black background)?
Thanks
Hi,
Could you kindly explain the benefit of Mobile Pages?
Because we can already set-up a mobile one in the composer by clicking on the mobile symbol. I mean, if a page (or a cloud template) is optimized for desktop, tablet and mobile, what’s the benefit of generating a mobile page?
Sorry if my question is dumb but I don’t get it (and I’ve been through your documentation but couldn’t find the answer).
NB : I do not use AMP and do not intend to use it.
Thanks in advance.
Hello @alessandrogini1!
I mean layout or template you like the most. For example, you can choose from the 3 options which one is the best and which one contain less elements, in order to improve your page speed.
Thank you!
Hello @vikasnangia!
Yes, you’re right. For example, if you use the default font, and then you will change the default font for some elements, when you change the font into another one in the Website Manager, then these elements will be changed and not the ones which has default font.
Thank you!
Hello!
I would like your help with the following issue, please!
When I try to add a featured image to a post, I get this error message: “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.” I had this problem for a long time now.
Also, I can’t find any previously uploaded images in the Media Library, although there should be hundreds of them.
The website is updated to WordPress 5.9 & Newspaper Version: 11.4, and my web hosting provider can’t find any issues (the server is running PHP 7.4).
I tried deactivating all plugins except the ones required for the theme to work but it didn’t make a difference.
Any advice would be highly appreciated!
Thank you!
