Hello !
On AMP / Mobile template this option is not possible in Newspaper Theme.
Thank you !
Hi,
I created a new post/article page but the text does not shown 🙁
Example –
https://navonfinance.co.il/%d7%92%d7%9e%d7%9c-%d7%a0%d7%98/
Hi.
This can be done only in theme files, for example the block 7 is using module 6 https://i.imgur.com/lttc5qO.jpg and you need to edit this file wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/includes/modules/td_module_6.php
Hope this will help you!
Hi, communtiy!
I have struggling with some issues with Newspaper Theme.
The facebook like button doesn’t update on some posts. Here is an example:
https://bragatv.pt/mariana-machado-acaba-em-1o-lugar-nos-campeonatos-mas-e-desclassificada/
It is stucked on number 2.
How can I solve this?
I have tried this with several different form plugins and it doesn’t seem to matter. When I include a form shortcode inside the TagDiv builder, it doesn’t work. It stays in text form. [ninja_form id=1] … for example.
https://coloradotundra.com/about/
I have tried the same short codes outside the builder and they work fine.
Hello there. So are you going to do Mobile Amp Designs?
Are you thinking ahead?
I’ve purchased your Newspaper theme but I don’t see an option how can I download any particular template (for example this one https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_life_news/) or we need to install the theme and then we wlll be able to choose any website template?
Hi,
I noticed my jetpack comments were not working. I tried enabling and disabling different plugins. Turns out when I disable the tagdiv cloud library plugin, then it loads fine.
Not sure what the issue is here and was hoping you could help me out with this.
Example page: https://www.abhayrautela.com/blog/notes-on-user-stories-from-the-linkedin-agile-foundations-course-by-doug-rose
At the end of the page in my AMP theme, I want to have an infinite load for the next page instead of a button.
How do it ?
I did this, says form code is empty. I post code, save, view. No form. I go back & the code disappeared.
Hello,
I added the following tag to FOOTER AD in Mobile ADS:
<amp-sticky-ad layout="nodisplay"><amp-ad width="320" height="50" type="doubleclick" data-slot="/XXXX/XXXX/XXXX"></amp-ad></amp-sticky-ad>
Sticky Ad is only displayed in AMP on the Desktop, not on mobile.
I’m using TagDiv Mobile , AMP Plugin, configured for only AMP and transitional mode.
Someone went through the same problem, can you help me.
Thanks
Also I’ll add to this… posts set to the downloaded custom Cloud Library single post template also don’t seem to pay attention to the global settings. So for example, if I set the posts to NOT show the number of comments (which is says in the control panel will affect both default AND custom templates) this works for all default templates but the meta info I turned off still shows up in the custom templates.
Hey guys, so I’m aware of all the ways we can customize the default post templates via theme settings:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-default-templates/
But what I’m wondering is, can we change the templates in other ways? Like for example if I wanted to move where the author information shows up? Add additional stuff not in the templates now?
Also, I downloaded a single post template from the Cloud Library. The template looks fine in the Cloud Library file, and has two columns. When assigned to an article, only the main column shows up (stretched to cover the whole width of the post). And if I assign a Sidebar, that too doesn’t show up. This only happens when choosing the added Cloud Library template, but all default templates the Sidebar shows up correctly.
Any thoughts on these two issues? Thanks.
Hi all,
i hope you can help myself. I am setting up a new website and actually i am trying to get behind all features of newspaper wordpress theme. But i have the problems while setting up the menu that all is written in capitalization. As there are some fixed expressions i need to adjust this. For example in the menu i have “easyPost” as Name for the entry but in the menu itself on the website it is shown as “EASYPOST”. How can i adjust this to “easyPost”? Thank you
Using the Newspaper theme, I have dialed in the styles and while the desktop view is fine, on mobile view many pages that display fine on desktop are missing the text content entirely on mobile view (see attached screenshots) . All settings in theme, mobile theme and amp seem correct. Please take a look and let me know how to fix the missing content (text of the pages missing in mobile view). Site: https://itgnext.com/ (example of page with desktop content (text) displaying fine on desktop but missing entirely on mobile view) https://itgnext.com/about-us/
Also can not find where to fix/remove this About Us Link in mobile footer? (see attached image as well).
I will also email access credentials to contact@tagdiv.com and reference this thread. attached images: https://imgur.com/a/PzRZu2F
Thank you very much for your return.
Is it ok if we use a different AMP plugin? Would it be a problem?
I mean this. Amp mobile design only have 1? No other Amp mobile design?
Or would it be a problem if we installed a different amp attachment
Hello!
You can only modify the footer with TagDiv Composer if you go to a page where it is assigned and edit that page with TagDiv Composer, and then you will have access to the footer also. For example, edit your homepage with TagDiv Composer, scroll till footer, click on footer zone and you can edit it.
Thank you!
Good morning again, the mobile version is not displayed correctly, it does not show the news blocks as it should, on the home page, for example, the main block shows it badly on mobile.
What solution do you give me?
Hello !
Please try the code bellow: .amp-wp-article-header .amp-wp-meta:first-of-type{
display:none!important;
}
.amp-wp-article-header .amp-wp-meta:last-of-type{
display:none!Important;
}
.amp-wp-title{
color:red;
}
The code must be inserted here: https://www.screencast.com/t/JJ12roXfsX8
Thank you !
Hi. The screenshot is attached.
I installed the amp, but its mobile design is very amateur simple. What can we do for both amp and beautiful mobile design?
Hello!
You need to change all of the IDs from the SVG code. For example, the IDs from the SVG code in the desktop header need to be completely different than the IDs from the SVG code in the mobile header, etc.
I hope is more understandable now.
Thank you!
Hello!
It seems the amp and mobile theme is working.
Please make sure that you have activated the proper thumbs for the mobile theme. The mobile theme requires the “265×198” and the “741×486” thumbnail sizes in order to show the featured images properly.
This can be found in here: https://www.screencast.com/t/N18dR3qZrh
After activating the thumbnail sizes you need to regenerate your thumbnails using a plugin. Check this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-the-theme-with-existing-content/
Thank you!
Hello!
For that you need to install Mobile Theme plugin , AMP plugin and you need to set up the setting from Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile Theme: https://www.screencast.com/t/HFMq1ty4jh
Thank you!
