What do you mean by 2 columns ( Block 5 on 2 columns) What do you mean by this and how is it possible to configurate this?
I chose CATEGORY TOP POSTS GRID STYLE 4, but it looks somehow “brownish” on my site. Some with the blocks.
Is there any way to change this basis color?

Hi,
Unfortunately we have not tested amazon links so we have no idea how they should work. Generally you can add html or js in a textbox in text mode (not visual mode) If it does not work, then try it on a standard page in a text block and see if it works there. You will have to test this out yourself.
please also try it without plugins as these can interfere as well. Disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files.
Thank you!
Take a look at your block quote left. Let me know if that makes any sense !
My bad. Discovered I had an adblocker extension active on my browser. Thanks.
One more thing for now. The ad on the side bar is not displaying the right ad size. I have an ad of 160 by 600 set for the side bar but the ad size displayed is 300 by 250.
This is the code in the sidebar field within the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/7ht73NmzxkLx.
How do I get the sidebar to display the 160 by 600 size ad size for the home page and the individual post?

Hi,
You can assign a cutom css class on the row that contains the big grid. If the 2 blocks are in the same row make sure you separate them like so: http://screencast.com/t/hwt3uvon
Then you can use css like so:
.mycustomclass .td_block_wrap{
margin-top:-46px!important;
}
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
Hi,
Please make sure your images are big enough to fit the containers and then let the theme cropping system work it’s magic. There should not be any white or grey boxes in your thumbnails. If this is the case, please follow this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
If you still have issues with thumbs after using the guide, please provide a link to your site so we can inspect it.
Thank you!
Hi,
The api plugin was changed a couple of updates back. Please use the current version of the api plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/practical-example-how-to-add-a-new-block-and-module/

Thank you!
sorry DwayneHoward you’re right
I solved this problem changing the blockquote color in the “Theme Colors” section of the “Theme panel”
there’s a dedicated setting for the blockquote
Hi
We would want to apologize for the delay. Because of the huge amount of work that we have to handle sometimes may take up to 48 hour to answer at all tickets. Also there is the time zone that must be taken into consideration. However we do our best to answer in shortest time possible.
Concerning your requests I have to make the following specifications:
– the theme display in its blocks the default wp post type. However we added fields which allows you to display custom post types. That can be achieved by adding post type’s name in this field: http://screencast.com/t/S0dHovgwSS You have to add the exact name of your custom post type in order to be displayed. For example the name of event post type is tribe_events: http://screencast.com/t/eN2dSLBlg Also you have to set a featured image for your custom post type, otherwise the theme will display no-thumb image.
Another specifications refers to this page: http://geospatialworl.wpengine.com/blogs/ Here you’re using blog template which cannot be edited with Visual Composer and won’t display custom post types without modifying the code. You have to switch to a static page in order to have the page-builder from Visual Composer active.
Hope you’ll find this useful!
Let me know if you need further instructions on this.
Thanks!
Hello pasqualino77,
Unfortunately, the theme doesn’t have an alphabetical filter option on category template, but you could add it if you have some PHP knowledge. Firstly, you should edit the category template and add the alphabetical filter like the others are added – http://screencast.com/t/2xIby88Jsxx and then add another case in theme functions – http://screencast.com/t/HNNy6oIr You can take a look of block filter options, it could help you to implement this – http://screencast.com/t/NRcKBOzsJo5f . Also, you can check this topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-change-default-latest-articles-to-featured-on-category-top-post-style/ because it could be possible this for your implementation.
Also, please notice that all of these require additional customizations that involve custom work and we cannot provide this type of services at the moment, sorry!
If you are unhappy with our theme or our support in any way, feel free to request a refund at contact@tagdiv.com
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello TPRouhana,
Please try to copy the exact code from this link -> http://webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/71630/font-blocked-from-loading-by-cross-origin-resource-sharing-policy-no-access-co and do not copy and paste the code from the forum because it could be some differences to quotes and because of this can work. Please notice that this method works fine for all customers and also, it should work fine for you.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
1) The sidebar or any other element cannot be made wider as our theme uses a fixed width and all elements depend on this fixed width. in order to change you have to adapt every element to the new size and this will be no walk in the park.
2) Blocks are these content boxes that display posts: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
We created 21 blocks so far so you can chose from a wide variety.
A module on the other hand is the base element. Basically a module is a single post element inside a block. A block is only a container for one or more modules. Here is an example of how a block is made out of modules:
http://screencast.com/t/avnmJSJxm3s A module is the base element.
You can see what block uses what modules here: http://screencast.com/t/jW3kPZ7BYLE
Hope this helps.
Thank you!
Hi,
You cannot have pagination other than the pagebuilder+latest articles template. I’m not sure what pagination you are referring to. Every block in particular can have it’s own pagination. The nextpage tag will not work on pages. That is for posts only. You cannot paginate the homepage in between blocks though. You can find the pagination for each block in the block settings : http://screencast.com/t/5BhhSiJQ
If you want to customize the latest articles template, you can find the settings here: http://screencast.com/t/iJcRI40egpc
Thank you!
Hi,
Please try to insert block 16 on a dummy page alone without any other elements and see if it displays the same way. Please also make sure you only use the 3 column layout suggested here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
If the block displays the same on the new page then please send us an email at contact@tagdic.com amd provide wp-admin so we can take a look. Also include a link to this topic.
Thank you!
I tried to locate the following ad code within our wordpress system without success… The website is ProWrestling.com, I see the adcode within our main page source code but can not find where to edit it.
</div></div> <!– ./block1 –>
<!– A generated by theme –>
<script async src=”//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js”></script><div class=”td-g-rec td-g-rec-id-custom_ad_3″>
<script type=”text/javascript”>
This ad in particular, I believe can only being seen on tablets and not desktops. Please help.
Thank you
Hi,
We’re using Newspaper theme and since the last update to the theme and WordPress 4.5 we are now seeing “missing” stories on the homepage layout.
I’ve “Shift-Refreshed” my browser to dump the cache, and still see missing articles.
For example, on the homepage under the ‘Insurance’ category there is only one article displayed. There should be two larger stories and 4 smaller ones like on all the other blocks on the page.
See this screen capture for reference: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fpk6z94hbbur303/homepage-missing-article.png?dl=0
Also, “Use Cases” only has 2 small articles displaying beneath the larger ones on the grid.
When it should be like all others—2 large stores, and 4 smaller ones beneath.
We presently have over 400 articles in the site so there is no shortage of stories to fill each category.
What could be causing this issue?
How do I resolve it?
Running WordPress 4.5.1
Newspaper: 6.7.1
Here is a link to the live site.
I’ve been in touch with support before and can provide access to the admin/FTP as needed.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Bert
@temporary_saint, were you able to get demand partner SSP/exchanges working within adglare? Took a look at their demo which seems to only show adsense backfill. Do you run DFP in parallel and take DFPs ad tag and put into adglare?
If you are just using adsense as demand, then tagdivs theme out the box does this by using responsive adsense ad tags:
For one, the ads scale in size, so they look great and proportional on all devices.
and this if you customize what size you want by width within the theme panel options
Secondly, I was able to show ads in different places, depending on the screen size… meaning I could have a box ad in the sidebar when on desktop or tablet, but then have it jump into the content when on mobile (so that it didn’t end up with the sidebar waaaaaaay down at the bottom).
By the way, everything else is still registering, just not the blocks…..
I am using an API plugin and have custom blocks, modules, thumbnails, header, footer and top bars. The blocks are no longer registering in visual composer after the update to wordpress. Is this a known issue? When is the fix coming?
I am on the latest visual composer and WordPress.
Please advise, I use this theme on 3 of my websites. Thanks!
Edit:
1.) How can I make the content more wider?
2) https://forum.tagdiv.com/excerpts-introduction/ What are these text blocks? And what are the modules? Where can I customize them? Why are there different Modules?
Hello Is there a way to enable just the loop on the bottom of the home page ? I tried using shortcode “<!–nextpage–>” through text block or raw html and doesn’t seem to work. \
https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/posts-with-pagination/
I’ve located documentation on how to enable post pagination at the bottom of the home page or on a post but cannot get it to display on my home page without the Post Grid(Recent articles title, thumbnail, excerpt etc)
Your help and insight is greatly appreciated
Hello, Bogdan,
I put the block 16 module, with six posts. Just as the example of the demo site. The post shows vertical (down) as opposed to horizontal(across)the way the newspaper demo site displays.
The pictures are sized correctly (324×235) when they appear verticaly they are smaller as well.
you can see this on http://www.livefromtheatl.com
thanks in advance.
Sam
