@Chris: I did not mean to merge the plugins CSS and/or JS but rather to make “local” their calls that are made in every site page header. In other terms, I’d like to copy these resources (CSS and JS) locally to my server filesystem and call them from there to avoid the TCP/IP delay overhead. I have already tried commenting the wp_head() and including them straight forward by their local paths but this approach causes malfunctioning to the page load. There is something of “dinamic behaviour” of wp_head() that prevents this approach to work successfully. But what?

As you can see, no one of the registered CSS and JS listed by functions.php curresponds to those found by Google Speed Insights! So that I don’t have any ID of CSS and/or JS to use to move their loading in the footer by means of td-speed-booster.php hacking.
What is wrong with that or what could be done instead?

Simply replace the last bit of code with the one above and use it like before. If all the render blocks do not appear yet, add a greater number than 20 in there and test again.

In this case you need to add a priority to the function: https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/add_action/
Add the priority number in the add_action hook (default is 10) Lower numbers correspond with earlier execution.
You need to set it to execute after all of the other functions are executed so you need to add a larger number for the priority.
For example:
add_action( 'wp_print_scripts', 'td_inspect_script', 20 );
If it still cannot grab all of the render blocks, then use an even higher value.

This method is for advanced users and it involves a bit of coding/php know-how. Please use the css and js render blocks in their specific functions in the file.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to enable/disable these kinds of borders/separators. You have to add it manually with CSS code. For example, if you want to add some of these into your footer section, please try the code below and add it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.

Where can I find the Block settings in which I can change the block title. I have installed the newspaper default demo, but can’t figure out how to change the block titles. There is no such option in visual composer. What am I doing wrong?

I’ve checked both of your pages and noticed that the theme use the full image in thumbs, not actually the thumb cropped at the specific value: http://screencast.com/t/Ye6GO99Grd In this situation the image it’s scaled down by css and because of aspect ration it’s not displayed fine.
Try to regenerate your thumbs: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/ clear all caches and test again. Like this thumbs should be regenerated for all images and also should be displayed fine in blocks.

Hi. I already posted about this issue, but i’m still having problems. In slide Block you have default white title with light gradient on featured image. When you use a featured image with some white, for instance, the title is obiouvsly confused. I don’t want to put colored title background or change title color, i Just want to increase slide featured image gradient (at bottom of featured image) in order to put slide title in evidence, How can i do that? Altering the width is probably what caused the issue. Our theme uses a fixed grid layout so any width change will result in this type of errors. Please use the slider on the left side and block 15 on the right as the slider needs a 2/3 ratio so it can display properly. I’ve created a new block (and a new module) to show the last entries in a certain category.
It is using the theme API plugin, and Block21 as an starting point.
For each post, I’m looking to show:
– Category
– Author name
– Entry title
– Author avatar
The first three are working perfectly, but when it comes to the author avatar the module always shows the same image, the one belonging to the user #5 (regardless of who created the post, or who is the current author).
I tried with:
– <?php echo get_avatar( get_the_author_meta(‘ID’), 55);?>
– <?php echo get_avatar( $td_author->user_email, ’55’);?>
– And a bunch of similar combinations and tricks (avatar plugins etc), but nothing seems to work.
If I do <?php echo get_the_author_meta(‘ID’);?> or <?php echo get_the_author_meta(’email’);?> it always shows the data relative to author #5, but when doing <?php echo $this->get_author();?> it shows each author’s name perfectly.
Could you give me any clue of how to solve this?
Is there a way of displaying the author’s avatar knowing just the name?
