Please provide more details regarding the facebook issues. Do you refer to the Social Counter plugin? Please make sure you use the latest theme version 6.6.3, then deactivate and delete the Social Counter plugin – http://screencast.com/t/4f9ZPR9sNl6Y and install it again from here so you will make sure you use the latest version – http://screencast.com/t/ioeIReUJ4
Even if you use a parent category the child categories will not appear automatically using ajax, they have to be added manually to appear. So please check block settings and remove thos ids – http://screencast.com/t/0SNBIfoVy

If you want to insert ads on your category page it is necessary to use do_shortcode method with the custom ad to achieve this. You should alter this file -> category.php. First of all, you should insert your ad code in Custom Ad 1 field from Theme Panel like this: http://screencast.com/t/fFL1w7Ty and then, with this code -> <?php echo do_shortcode('[td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_1"]');?> you have to add them in the category.php file, like this: http://screencast.com/t/x1oLmljEm and the result you should see here: http://screencast.com/t/K9dbYWkeBfk

I can’t say for sure if using the blog template will improve your seo. Basically if you’re using the pagebuilder+latest as a page template http://screencast.com/t/6JKuFKf5Q without any blocks added in Visual Composer part, you get the same functionality like the one of the blog template. I’m having this awful issue where the modules on the home page are not being shown how they’re suppossed to show, at first I thought it was a thumbs issue, I regenerate all the thumbs as you instruct on your how to pages, but didn’t fix anything, I deleted the thumbs and regenerate again but all the thumbs dissapear so the issue went from bad to worst, so I regenerate all the thumbs with Auto Post Thumbnail PRO Plugin from envato and it did create the thumbs but I’m still having the same issue, I have created several pages with different layouts even using your default templates which have changed nothing, so I’m really lost where to look at, I can’t find a way to reset the settings on the theme which is kinda annoying since in this case it might help to debug something maybe?

The editor was designed to have the same width with the post content on front-end. If your’re using sidebar the post content have 640px, so the editor have the same width. If you’re not using sidebar the post content have 980px and also the editor change width’s changes at this value. Basically the editor simulate the front end layout. I’m using the Social Counter block on my site (www.moodlenews.com). Recently, this counter has stopped showing our facebook likes. It still shows our twitter followers.
I did recently test the plugin Facebook Comments on the site. However, I have chosen not to use this plugin and it has been deleted. The Facebook likes disappeared after this test and I cannot figure out how to get them to show again.

I am wondering if there is a way to hide the author for a certain block (I use block 21 on homepage)?
Currently I have “Show Author” turned off but I would like to show author for a particular category… I think it might be easier to turn it on and then hide it on the homepage blocks that I don’t want it to show.

Basically you need to put your own HTML for the banner graphics and anchor links you want, into the different divs for each viewport (e.g., desktop, tablet, phone).
Then you paste that block of custom HTML into the custom ad section in the ad module.

Есть задача: установить смещение статей в блоке, чтобы они начинали выводиться с 15-ой по счёту. Глобально, без ограничений.
Если я выставляю цифру 14, данная настройка работает и статьи выводятся, начиная с 15-ой.
Если я добавляю фильтрацию, к примеру, устанавливаю определённую рубрику, смещение перестаёт работать. Я так понимаю, что применение фильтра добавляет ограничение и при установке фильтрации по рубрике статьи начнут выводиться, только если в этой рубрике наберётся 15 статей. Верно?
Но, необходимо настроить смещение так, чтобы фильтры его не ограничивали. Как можно это сделать и в каком файле настраивается смещение?

i am having similar issue, i turned on the 7 days post sorting feature from the block settings (theme panel).
Then i added block 21 in newspaper default sidebar and choose its Sort order: (last 7 days)….
but no post is showing up. However, custom title for this block: which is “Post” appearing on the page.
