Sorry for the delay!
The issue with saving settings usually appears because the server security module blocks the access to admin-ajax.php file. Try to verify if this happens when you save settings in other cases in theme panel and also verify the console for error while saving the settings on the Theme Panel, usually it displays a 403 or 404 error.
Contact your server administrator and explain the situation, as it’s requested many times during the a save the file it’s treated as threat so it’s banned. You can report false positives to your server administrator to remove it from the banned list.

I have checked your site and you have a js error in console – http://screencast.com/t/3yopneKMhVe and also block ajax pagination doesn’t work.
Please deactivate all plugins, leave only Visual Composer active, also clear cache and check if you still have this issue. If don’t have the issue anymore, activate your plugins one by one and see which one caused this. Also you can check this without any css/js minification.

You can change to a template without articles like Homepage Blank and add blocks via Visual Composer – http://screencast.com/t/rrHDX6TuIT so it will be displayed only blocks that you add to your page.

Please also consider that unfortunately the version 5 of the theme will not include rtl support. You can still use the theme as it is but unfortunately you cannot updated it as you will lose the rtl support or you can update it and make yourself the necessary adjustments needed. 1. The top and the bottom ads are outside the content, you can only achieve that position by using the Inline Ad – http://screencast.com/t/bpfr7TVO1sp
Play with the paragraph (add 1 or 2) and test to see if the ad jumps in the position you want. The theme function breaks the content into paragraphs and you can select after which paragraph to display the inline ad.

Some modules have extra elements like lines, shadows, etc, when you change the thumb size or other module parameters you also have to consider those elements.
