You mean the thumbnail for the block. You will get 3 images on a split row when a sidebar is used. We added the 3 posts per row as a content with sidebar is the most popular layout used. Split your row in a 2/3 + 1/3 layout and there will be only 3 images in the main content.

Please notice that our theme does not have any influence on the loaded images in Media Library. Regarding on images, notice that the theme will only crop the images depending on the thumb used by the block. If the post has multiple categories these will all be displayed as classes in the article code. For example

So if the category you want to hide this element, is present in the article classes, the next/prev will not be displayed and will be affected by the code. This could be done by using the post Id specifically, or by post template maybe

The second code you mention will remove the related posts section on all posts. It should be like this to apply on a specific post

Each block module used by the theme has a predefined thumbnail size. These thumbnails are created from the featured images you set for posts automatically

There is no option to modify these sizes, only by code modifications but that is not recommended.
Please try and use the grids and block that are available, each block is different and uses a different thumbnail

Please provide your website URL So I can take a closer look at it and also, please provide some useful screenshots so I can exactly understand where you mean. I guess that here is talking about the block filter and that why your news is changing for every refresh. Probably, your block filter is setup on Random and that’s why it’s happened this case.

Please provide a link to your website here in the topic if possible, so we can take a look.
As a first step you can try deactivating all plugins except theme plugins, and clear any installed cache. Usually plugins are the cause for most issues. Or maybe if you made modifications to the theme files, or used custom code that might interfere with the theme functionality.
