Hello,
Please disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn. There should be sidebars in the widgets area (ones you create or the default footer sections).
Please try to create a few sidebars and check again:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hello PedroMiguelMoreira,
I suppose that you are referring to the Search symbol (“magnifying glass”). This kind of option is created in the header-menu.php core file. If you want to add the Search word, you have to alter the code from this file, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/Jn3vnxAlF -> http://screencast.com/t/ZIQElfNQ The search function should work fine. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. You can check this option in our demo version, here -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
Hope this helps!
If is not what you mean, please provide more details about what you want to change so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thank you for the message!
disable all the active plugins, cache cleaning, not helped
What to do?
Hello Andrii,
I have checked your website and I saw the problem. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. This issue might be caused by interference between your untested plugins and our theme and it is possible to appear errors. Please check our demo and there you can see that the problem does not appear. -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/tagdiv-lifestyle/
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hello Virginie,
Our theme only has one version. There is no French version or English version that we know of. You must be using a plugin to display different version of your site. Unfortunately these types of plugins are not tested so so we cannot say for sure why this happens. Please try to empty your cache and reset your cdn files if you use it. If you still cannot get it to work you may have to replace the plugin. (qtranslate x seems to work as suggested by our users but again, it’s not tested.)
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
I am not able to explain me.. Damn language! hehe
I am one item.. whatever.. this item has 3 categories (Travel, News and Videos).
I select, also, Featured to appear in Big Grid.
Why Big Grid show Travel, News or Videos here?
http://clip2net.com/clip/m0/d8a42-clip-134kb.jpg?nocache=1
What is the criterion or the rules to display one category or another?
I hope I explained better now.
Hello,
If the sorting option worked before, then pleased try to figure out what changed since a few days ago. Did you change a few settings or installed a new plugin? Usually things do not happen without a reason. Please check a few options that are required for the 7 days sorting:
1) the option active in the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/Aigw5YYXL
2) the Ajax post view count: http://screencast.com/t/DxPIvWusbwvQ
3) The post views themselves as this option relies on views: http://screencast.com/t/Yz3Qo9I6
If you have all of these options checked and the counter does not work, please try to refresh your post page and see if the view counter increments. If it does not work, please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then check the post views again.
let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hello,

Hello cloudberry03,
Please keep in mind that the social counter is not a live count. It will update once every few hours. Please try to clear all cache and test it again after few hours and see how it works.
Thank you for the message!
Hello griseltolstow,
In order to achieve best results, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. After you have done this, please consult the guide below and then check your social counter and see how it works.
1) Please make sure you have the latest theme version: 6.6.5. If not, you need to follow this guide to update your theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
2) Having the latest version of the theme is not enough if you do not update the social counter as well. You need to remove the current version you use: http://screencast.com/t/4jvRwNzK and then install the version of the plugin that comes with the 6.6.5 theme: http://screencast.com/t/9AKKURjTjX
You can recognize if you have the correct version of the plugin when you see the new app key settings: http://screencast.com/t/CIXxklBanNl If you do not have these settings in your social counter it means you do not have the correct version.
3)You need to follow this guide to get the requirements from facebook:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
Please keep in mind that the social counter is not a live count. It will update once every few hours.
Once you followed all the above steps properly and made sure you have not missed anything, (and the social counter still does not work), then you can send an email to contact@tagdiv.com with your login information so we can further inspect the issue. Also, please provide the link of this topic so we can know who you are and what the issue is.
Hope this helps!

Hello FarrahGillani,
Please make sure that you have activated Post Vies counts from Theme panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/WXOM6HPNIx and then please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Check your posts after this and see how it works and if your problem is still there please let us know.
Thank you for the message!
Hi,
I have checked your website and saw a bunch of issues. Js errors in your console,, mixed content errors (SSL issue), the search icon and the menu are not aligned. The mobile menu icon is also not aligned to the logo on mobile. This can only be one of 2 things. Either you have custom modifications that were not done properly or there is a plugin conflict.
If you have modifications, please try to restore the theme to it’s default state and check if the issues are still there. If you did not customize anything, then please disable ALL plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then check your website again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
I added an background image using the Theme Panel>Background and once I removed that image, it still appears on every post. I’ve tried clearing my cache and new browsers to see if its a caching issue and the problem still persists. Am I missing a setting? Please help
Hi everyone. We done all the settings like the tutorial and it isn’t working yet. We’re trying to show the most accessed post of the 7 past days.
We’re not using any CDN or Cache. All the recommended plugins are installed and activated. No other plugins are installed.
BLOCK SETTINGS > 7 days sorting (enabled)
POST SETTINGS > Ajax View Count (enabled)
How solve this? It’s urgent.

Thank you and sorry for my english one more time!
Hi,
I deactivated everything (incl visual composer) and then cleared my cache (and browsing history) on Chrome and Safari. Then went to the site. The formatting seemed to work then.
When I reactivated visual composer (all other plugins weren’t activated), then the odd wrapping happened again.
have you had any other reports of visual composer having any impact on your themes?
Pete

thx for answer, i really think that displaying posts from 7 days ago would make things easier to you to implement together with cache. There would be small problem for people who doesnt post that much often, but they can use Popular All Time function instead of this.
Hello,
Please clear your cache and reset cdn files if you use it as the options are affected by cache and they will only apply when the cache is cleared.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hi,
I’m not sure why your issue occurs. Now it seems to display fine. They might have been affected by cache so the changes only applied when the cache was cleared. The WordPress update did not change nothing regrading the thumbs/images. If you still have this issue without any plugins, then please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can take a look. also provide a link to this topic.
Thank you!
Hi,
The top menu should get the color from the theme panel except for your main menu which is a plugin option.
please change it in the theme panel and clear your cache afterwards.
If this still does not work it could be conflicting with your menu plugin so you can use css to change it also if you do not want to disable the plugin:
.td-header-wrap .td-header-top-menu-full{
background-color:transparent!important;
}
Thanks.
Hi
1. I’ve checked your site and the category tags are displayed fine on my side: http://screencast.com/t/4jQOZUyUvw If you still have this issue try to clear all caches and test again.
2. You can use a 2/3+1/3 layout in Visual Composer to display the sidebar on page. This can be achieved following these links: http://screencast.com/t/EPaV6XDTAB24 – http://screencast.com/t/8MBHeShtfd Here is the shortcode from Visual Composer: http://pastebin.com/tPmFzQmf – http://screencast.com/t/HDYTBtnHO5w
You can use it as example then customize the page in the same way. I used the smart sidebar to have it scrolling down along with the page: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-smart-sidebar/
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hi,
Please check the implementation of the video files. Try it with the default videos provided here: http://screencast.com/t/NJZ97KeY4e
If this one still does not work, then please try top disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn if you use it.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
