Hello @Kelvin!

We recommend using only one cache plugin, the WP Super Cache plugin with this configuration: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure
Do not use multiple cache plugins!

Thank you!

I got a message on WordPress dashboard that the page cache is not detected. I installed WP Super Cache but got the error below. I have changed and updated my website permalink but nothing has changed. I have also changed the menu titles but it has also stayed the same. Kindly assist me.

Error: Configuration file /home/admin/domains/college2university.com/public_html/wp-content/wp-cache-config.php is missing. Please reload the page.

Warning! Could not update /home/admin/domains/college2university.com/public_html/wp-config.php! WPCACHEHOME must be set in config file.

Warning! /home/admin/domains/college2university.com/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php cannot be updated.
Make /home/admin/domains/college2university.com/public_html/wp-content writable using the chmod command through your ftp or server software. (chmod 777 /home/admin/domains/college2university.com/public_html/wp-content) and refresh this page. This is only a temporary measure and you’ll have to make it read only afterwards again. (Change 777 to 755 in the previous command)
Refresh this page to update /home/admin/domains/college2university.com/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php
If that doesn’t work, make sure the file /home/admin/domains/college2university.com/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php doesn’t exist:

Hi,
It looks like something is interfering with the theme style. The one that is not correct looks more like an amp version. Can you please check if this is not a plugin conflict? Please do a test using only tagDiv plugins and see if the results are the same, also please clear all cache you have.
Thank you!

Hello,

Seems you have the mobile theme and AMP are still activated on the website. Please deactivate those plugins and purge the cache a few times.
Please disable the redirect from the mobile version to amp -> https://i.imgur.com/7Z7V82x.png using that option your visitors will never see the responsive version, only the amp version.

The AMP works better only with the Mobile Theme plugin. From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit to AMP. Please read all about AMP here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
It comes with its own templates/design for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Documentation here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
Please read all about AMP here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
Note that you can not customize AMP so much, because it comes with its own design.
There are some settings in the Theme panel -> Mobile Theme and Dashboard -> AMP only.
You can not add a shortcode as in the TagDiv Composer. Please note that you can’t customize the AMP pages with the TagDiv Composer.
Make sure the redirect mobile visitors to amp option is disabled.

Please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/

Thank you!

Thanks for your prompt response. I am using a cache and the box you pointed out already was turned on.

This is a recent problem and only manifested after the most recent Newsmag theme update.

The counter is WAY off, not even close to counts coming in from WP Stats.

Any other ideas would be appreciated.

Hi,
If the cache is on, please check if this option is also enabled in the theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/1rvCd9x.png
Also, the real and unique value for your visitors is given by Google Analytics. Our post-view counter should count any post-visualization, even if the post is visited twice by the same person and that’s why it can appear some difference.
Thank you!

Hello,
There is an animation set in the background and that animation has 1s to apply – https://i.imgur.com/BXX4e5N.png Maybe if is removed the image will be loading faster.
Also, it can be from the cache, it is possible to set the CSS and js to be loaded only after the entire content has been loaded.
Thank you!

I got the same error. Deactivated the WP Super Cache plugin, then all was good for me.

I have added the Woo menu cart to my site’s menu, but I am using WP Super Cache and it appears the cart’s state is cached whenever a page is cached. This means when a page is cached while the cart contains any items, any subsequent visitor for this page will see the cart containing these same items.

Of course, this is a huge problem.

Hi,

Have you tried to see that this issue is not caused by a plugin conflict?
Usually, this issue is caused by a plugin conflict, please do a test using the theme plugins, clear all cache and see if the problem persists.
Also, purge/clear the cache.

Thank you!

Hello,

Usually, when this is happening, it is from an object cache that can be from a plugin that you have installed or from your host. Please check this and if you can not find it, just make a test using only theme plugins and see if the problem persists.
In case you checked all those and the problem persists, please contact us via email contact@tagdiv.com . Make a full backup for your website and provide wp-admin and cPanel access via email and provide as many details as you can about the problem.

Thank you!

I’m rebuilding out site in staging – freestarstage.wpengine.com and most of the icons changes to squares. Could someone take a look and let me know what happened? I tried clearing cache.

First of all, please make sure the issue is not from a plugin conflict or a cache issue; that’s why please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones; also, if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache (also from your browser) and try again.

Thank you for your reply.
I read the articles you gave me.
I understand that It probably would be something to do with the cache.

I’m sorry, but since I’m not good at web programming or wordpress, could you please please tell me what I should change to make the issue not happen?

I have changed the cache plugin to WP super cache, which you told me that has the option for mobile devices and did the settings you told me.

But, I am not sure what to do to change in this plugin to solve this issue.

Thank you.

We use the newpaper theme at http://www.elearning-report.de. For reasons we cannot understand, the site is only displayed correctly when we are logged in. Conventional visitors, who are naturally not logged in, on the other hand, only get to see the 404 error message and the “Latest articles” section (with the header, but without tho footer). What could be the reason for this? We’ve had emptied the cache and tried it with the tagdiv plugins only without success.
We can send you a login to our wordpress backend if needed.
