Unfortunately, please notice that we do not have any bad reports in this case, sorry! Try to make a new clean install without any untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. Make the theme install via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case.

The theme javascript is minified, the CSS can be minified. So the problem would be with this inline javascript you mention.

Does the same happen if you test with no plugins except theme plugins active (clear cache before testing if possible)?

The code in the custom CSS is loaded at a later time, so the images may appear in their initial position, and then the custom CSS will be loaded.

A solution would be to load the custom code with the theme stylesheet, try to enter it there at the end (there you have to wrap the code for each device in media queries)

This effect should be reduced or removed if you will use a caching plugin to serve cached content to website visitors (non-logged in).

You could reduce the images with CSS by setting a max-width to them (height should be auto). Maybe that will work, you could try it. Further positioning or CSS code you use should not affect the image quality. Basically this is what retina does, displays double the image size.

I believe that is the case. We tried to optimize the demo website for good results. There will be overall performance improvements made in the theme in coming updates, to further optimize speed.

First of all, make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, you should remove all of these. Notice that the Smart Lists are more sensible and if these are not correctly set up might appears some errors. Where is this slider located exactly? At the moment I see a big grid in the homepage, followed by blocks 3.

The theme grids, blocks, sliders etc will show content according to the filtering and sorting chosen. If you use a latest sorting, then they will display the latest posts from the categories used in the filter.

The situation you are describing could be caused by caching. The theme by itself doesn’t have any caching. Usually it is a caching plugin or server cache that delay the data from being refreshed. So if you are not seeing the latest published posts where they should appear, that would explain it.
