Hi,
That is unusual, please try as a quick test to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins. Then clear the cache. Check if the issue is solved.
Thanks
Hi,
So you want to remove the sidebar allocated space in the post content editor
– https://www.screencast.com/t/k7SUEFpR7
The solution provided by Bogdan works, remove the code as shown
– https://www.screencast.com/t/7NU4jsu7G06
– https://www.screencast.com/t/jeRu8oypoW
In my case it took a Ctrl-Shift-R page refresh to clear the cache and display the changes on a previously opened post.
Thanks
Hi Simion,
Agreed about this being unusual … I searched and experimented for quite some time before posting!
I tried two different top post style grids and deleted the cache, but it is still the same behaviour. Any other thoughts?
Thank you.
Hello halil atli,
The social sharing buttons can be enabled from Theme panel from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/8oA6WMFF PLease make sure that you are using the latest theme version and check all the required plugins to be correctly updated. Clear all the caches and check the results.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
I checked it in another browser and everything seems to be fine. must be something to do with cache.
Just let me know about the child theme? Will my child theme work fine with 8.5.1? I am using the child theme that I activiated with newspaper 7 I guess.
Hi,
That can be caused by caching, please try enabling this setting in the theme panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/ajax-view-count/
Clear the cache after enabling the setting.
Thanks
Nothing, im not use cache plugin. 🙁
Hello FBI,
I suppose that your problem comes becasue your images are stuck in opacity 0. This usually happens on a js error caused by plugins or customization or other external optimization tools.
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset CDN files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functioning of the theme.
Thank you!
Same problem here. When I try to edit my website’s front page with the TD Composer it just keeps loading and I can’t change anything.
Also can’t access to the Theme Panel. It loads the first option, Header, but when I try to access another tab a # appears on the url but nothing happens. I erased all the caches, deactivated all plugins, reinstalled the necessary plugins, even made a fresh install of the theme and the child theme and it keeps failing.
Don’t know if it’s related.

Featured images are uploaded and can be seen as featured in the admin of the post, but when we view the post from the admin or on the website itself, the featured mages do not show up. This has been happening after the latest update of the Newspaper theme. I have cleared the cache, disabled plugins and tried everything I can think of to fix the issue. Please advise.
Well, AMP only works for those browsers that are compatible not “all mobile devices” … and your content has to pass AMP validation, and get enough hits to be cached and served as AMP version by Google servers or whatever.
Up to you.
We use responsive design for non-AMP, and AMP for AMP-compatible mobile.
Nothing is best, just choices on what works for you. Coke or Pepsi. I opt for A&W root beer, myself.
( I don’t work here; just some feedback. )
For some reason the page views on each post (the “eye ball” symbol) has stopped working. The view count is stuck at a certain number that will not advance on reloading of the page. I tried clearing the cache, no luck. It was working fine, then it just stopped. This is happening on all posts, so the counter is not advancing for any of them.
Hello begrijp,
Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to do this, sorry! You should try finding such a plugins with this functionality, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hello Balyuk,
You should edit the td_data_source.php and change the following parameter from there like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/bxrBdoJH Clear all the caches and check the results.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the message!
If the issue only appears when installing wptouch, then it is clear that the plugin is not compatible with the theme.
The only tested and recommended plugins to use with our theme are these ones:
WP Super Cache- caching plugin
Contact form 7- used to make contact forms
bbPress- forum plugin
BuddyPress- social network plugin
Font Awesome 4 Menus- icon pack, supported in the theme menus
Jetpack- plugin with lots of features *it may slow down your site
WooCommerce- eCommerce solution
WordPress (Yoast) SEO- SEO plugin
Wp User Avatar- Change users avatars
WPML – multilingual plugin
Anything beyond this list is not tested and I cannot say for sure if it will work or not.
Thanks.
Hello,
It seems you use a font that is not compatible with chrome. On fierfox everything seems fine.
Also please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hello,
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Cancel that guys – it was the browser cache that needed clearing. Cheers.
Hello,
This problem might happen due to your untested plugins. Try to disable all of these, clear all the caches and check the results. It seems to be a js error, caused by these case. If the problem is still there, try to make a new clean install from scratch to another sub-domain via FTP way and check the results. Also, make sure that your system status is right increased according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

Hi,
the unique articles feature was not enabled on the start page. But just to make sure I did Enable and Disable again, and also did empty the cache. But it made no difference.
Any other ideas of what could cause the problem?
Hello hao1362002,
It’s a false alarm, it’s not a concern. That Bach Khoa antivirus erroneously interprets an element in the plugin archive, since all others do not detect anything.
For example, this topic detects the same thing in the WP Fastest Cache plugin archive
– https://wordpress.org/support/topic/bkav-cpr4339-webshell-detected/
If the theme package is downloaded from the official, guaranteed source there is no threat of this kind and can be used with confidence.
Thank you!
Hello,
I have inspected your source page and I saw that you have some additional customizations which overwrite the default settings for the font-size of the menu items as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/xKlJNjAGL Notice that the default value is set up at 11px. You should remove all of your additional customizations which affect this section, clear all the caches and check the results. Please notice that each additional settings which you have added to your website might affect the entire website functionality.
Thanks for your understanding!
sorry, back again.
Clearing caches worked for a bit, but now the sidebar has disappeared again.
the website is http://www.homeremedyhacks.com
Hi, I also have the same search icon issue. Purging the Cache files didn’t fix the problem for me. Help me please!
Hello nomoretechno,
Please provide your website so I can identify it closer. Do you have cleared all the caches, purge all CDN files if you are using the Cloudflare system? It’s important for bringing good results.
