Hi Bogdan,
Many thanks for your reply regarding my website and the issue I am having with the pages not updating. I really appreciate your time and for sending me a couple of possible solutions.
Since your response I have followed your suggestions and set the relevant settings in WP Super Cache. I have also contacted my hosting company (BlueHost) and they have deleted an advanced cache file at their end.
Unfortunately the pages are still not updating though. As mentioned before the only page to consistently update is the home page but the other pages and categories are not. The strange thing is, when I log in to my WP site, the pages will update when I press refresh button however they will not update when I am not logged in.
Can you suggest any other solutions please Bogdan? I really need to find a solution to this as it is seriously hampering my start up online business.
Many thanks,
Kingsley
Hello TJPreneur,
I have checked your page source and I noticed that you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. First of all, try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Clear all your caches and check the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks the message!
Hi,
Please follow this topic here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/strange-chinese-symbols-replaced-icons-and-arrows/ and edit the htaccess file by adding the code from the link. After you add the code in htaccess, please make sure you clear cache as it will be affected by it and also reset the cdn files.
Thanks
Hello roqeem,
I have checked your website and I saw that you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. First of all, please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. After this, you should check your Tag Template settings from Theme panel like this -> http://screencast.com/t/OsifrclIW and check if the corresponding sidebar for Tag pages is valid.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Well caching is what it is. It will show changes after it;s cleared. This is a very important role of the caching plugins. It is not an issue.
This is what caching does but just to be on the safe side please use this guide:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thank you!
Hello,
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hello genoze,
First of all, please ensure that you have respected our list of requirements for our product, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ Also, try to update the theme to the latest version of it and also, all the required plugins which come bundled with the theme, clear all your caches and test it again. Basically, the latest Fatal error is happening due old version of Visual Composer. Try to update it and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!

Hi
I’ve troubles to view images of “Last posts” in mobile version (not from desktop mobile emulator but a mobile device). I already try all the recommendations from past topic (disable all plugins, clear cache, etc) with no success. The site is eldiariodeguayana.com.ve
Thanks in advance.
Pablo
Just as follow up, we use this on several of our sites for pulling in stuff to the sidebar pointing to one of our other websites; nice since it also caches for awhile not out pinging the other site every time page loads:
WP-RSSImport
https://wordpress.org/plugins/rss-import/
Hope that helps somebody. Free is always nice, too 😉
update: I’ve found the way to remove the logo for the mobile theme.
Update/Cache Issue:
just now I’ve noticed that it isn’t happening when I reload the website in the same web browser. but on the other browsers (in which I haven’t logged in to the WordPress) it isn’t updating the changes until I clear the cache.
Hello dprince0011,
Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme (Newspaper 7.6) and Social Counter 4.1, otherwise, please try to update them only via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard. Also, please ensure that you have right set your Social Facebook Counter according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/ Try to clear all your caches and test it again and see how it will work.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
I’m an absolute beginner to this stuff. I’ve Just installed the theme with the TechNews demo.
I’ve set the
max_input_vars 3000
WP Memory Limit 256 MB/request (as recommended)
After saving the changes on the Theme. It isn’t showing until I clear the cache.
What should I do?
And the Top bar isn’t changing on the Mobile. I mean, I’ve removed the Logo and set a Text Logo but on the Mobile, it is showing the TechNews7 (btw I’ve installed tagDiv Mobile Theme Plugin)
Hi Bogdan,
We reinstalled the latest version of the theme according to instructions, deactivated all plugins (even with visual composer activated and then deactivated), and cleared cache.
We still have the same problem, we are missing #2 and #3 in the ‘article inline ad’ section.
Please let us know how to get this working as it is important for our site.
Thanks
Hello emirza,
You should use the Facebook Debugger and pull scrape again to refresh the page. Clear all your caches and check the results. It should work as properly. For more information about Facebook Debugger, check the guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/facebook-share/
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
It could be the auto optimize plugin or other third party plugins used. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
We only got the logos problem in the mobile theme plugin. If the plugin is deactivated the logos show properly as the screenshots I provided above show. You might have something else affecting your theme that is preventing facebook’s browser from grabbing the correct information. Try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then test again.
Thanks
Hello davider,
Try to make a full backup to your data, remove the old theme and install the latest version of it via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard. Clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
This probably means you have a powerful caching enabled. Please only use wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
As for a cdn server: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Also please contact your host and ask for them to disable any hosting cache that might be provided as this tends to be the case more and more.
Thank you!
Please also clear all caching as it could still be fed through the cache.
Thank you!
Hello twoems,
Please keep in mind that the theme only increments this post view count and do not decrease it, sorry!
However, I guess that you have installed a plugin with this functionality which can interact with the post view count feature and cause this problem. You should disable all of these, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Also, please notice that you can edit this number of your post view count from your Theme panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/4wsBgX0Wu and then from here -> http://screencast.com/t/LEncLcfg7V you can change the value for your post views.
Thanks for the message!
Hello, I’m using the last version of this beautiful theme (with wordpress 4.7), but this evening, suddently the view counter on some articles has stopped working well. For example, there was an article with over 3000 views, and all of a sudden now it shows only 200. Is there something wrong I am doing? I just updated the theme…
I’m not using any cache plugin, I didn’t edit those articles either
Simion, thanks for the reply. The problem is intermittent. I need to be able to use the child theme (and expect to be able to with a premium theme)… I have also cleared the cache and that didn’t help. Any other ideas?
The footer logo doesn’t load either, it just shows a broken link.
I also tried it with the W3 Cache deactivated.
