1. If you want to set the Newsletter in category page you can get a category template from tagDiv Cloud Library edit it using tagDiv Composer and set the Newsletter in sidebar.

Or you can create a new sidebar and go in widgets set the Custom html and set the code that you set in Newsletter in custom html.

3. You can import a category template from tagdiv Cloud Library and set on content a border or you can use this custom css -> https://www.screencast.com/t/FD4DjugU

4. If you want to remove the show comments from modules/blocks all you need to do is to go in Newspaper>Theme panel> Blocks Settings > Meta tag on Modules/Blocks and deactivate the “Show comment count”.

This can be a plugin conflict, please deactivate all plugins you have and let only the tagDiv Composer activate, make sure that you clear all cache and try again.

Hi,

The sidebar settings in the page edit screen will have effect only if the page is built with the WordPress editor. If the page is built with the tagDiv composer for example, those settings won’t do anything.
You can edit the page with the composer and position the sidebar where you want it, or remove it. In the composer a sidebar can be a column resulted from splitting a row

Elements can be added directly in the column, or you can use a widget sidebar element

The standard footer widgets cannot be modified but you can add one from the Cloud Library: https://tagdiv.com/what-is-the-cloud-library/ and edit it, Or you can import a blank one and add what elements you want using the tagDiv Composer.

Unfortunately, I can not say for sure how long this will take, maybe will be fix in the coming updates.

We recommend to use tagDiv Composer because is the Newspaper theme builder and all the features will be integrate in theme plugins ( tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library ).

If you want to change the time for lazy load you need to go in wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.js make the changes and Minify the JavaScript https://javascript-minifier.com/ and replace the code from wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js with the new mimify JavaScript code ( the Newspaper theme use the tagdiv_theme.min.js file)

Also notice that after each update these changes will be lost and you’ll need to make theme again.

Regarding the issue, note that the old API plugin will not work anymore. You can use the new creative plugin for this purpose – https://forum.tagdiv.com/developer-info/

After the 9.7 update many of the theme files were moved in the tagDiv composer, due to the new Envato requirements
– https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
As a consequence the child theme is quite limited now, only a few theme files can still be used in it ( functions.php and style.css ).

Also please make sure that you do not overwrite the theme when you make the update, please delete the current theme and only after that install the new version of theme.

Please make sure that all the settings are as in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully

and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.

Also please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Using custom css, is no need to create two classes, you cna use only one to hide the content on specific device, for example -> https://www.screencast.com/t/vyWBI5xHi and set the css code in Theme panel> Custom code> Advance css on device where you want to hide the content -> https://www.screencast.com/t/6WUT0Hu8y

Indeed, the composer encodes the content entered in the HTML element. I believe this functionality was created to avoid damage to the page content caused by invalid code. There were cases when for example an unclosed tag broke the page in which it was entered.

The column text element doesn’t encode it’s content however, maybe you could use it instead of a raw HTML element – http://prntscr.com/nxro1a
