So you make update to theme and you want to use the wp barkery on pages build with tagDiv Composer, if is so then will not be possible, sorry!
Important Note: Do not use both page builders on the same page!
You can use only one builder on a page.

Also please make sure that you also have the last version of wp barkery v5.6

Please note that homepage is build wit TagDiv Composer and if you are using Visual composer the can be break

I do not quite understand were you try to set that border,
Please deactivate tagDiv Composer and try again, if is still not working you can try to do this with tagDiv Composer ( tagDiv Composer is a builder special made for our theme by our developers team) deactivate the WP Bakery and let active only TagDiv Composer.
Important Note: Do not use both page builders on the same page!

If there is still a problem please provide me some more details and some screenshots would be very helpful.

You can set any page you want as homepage, it can contain anything possible with the tagDiv composer

After you make the update please check if theme plugins are active, usually tagDiv Composer will be activate automatic but it need to be checked, also if you are using cloud template update the tagDiv cloud library and activate it…

1. Now you can build the header while editing a page or a cloud template, directly in the composer. There are now header shortcodes which can be used – http://prntscr.com/mhuojb

2. With the header manager you can manage the header templates

These can be imported and used in pages and cloud templates.

3. While designing a cloud post templates now you can choose to auto load more posts

Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme. Also, please notice that we recommend using TD Composer plugin if you want to achieve better theme results. This page builder has been exclusively made for our theme and it seems to return better results. Did you have tried it until now? That message could be displayed if there is/was a multi-purpose style set for the top bar, and the tagDiv composer has been disabled – http://prntscr.com/mht7mk
Please check if the tagDiv composer ism active or change the top bar style to a different style.
