I’ve got one more question about that topic.
All I need to know is how the filter-options in the tagdiv-composer (like post_type) are applied to the WP-Query. I really don’t understand, why
$query->query_vars['post_type'] == 'event'
code with this in an if-query is not executed in blocks of td composer, where I chose to display Posts of Post-Type events only.
I am on 5.5.1 wpbakery page builder and 8.8.2 Newspaper theme with the tag div composer turned off, still not showing on the front end.

Curious how to display the video element from Tag Composer on the mobile version. The only thing I could think of was to use the coding that shows up during the regular page edit, but I get nothing showing.
What template is used after a user clicks the “Load More” button in a TD Composer Block?? I am using Block 5 on a page and have customized its corresponding td_module_3.php in a child theme with some conditional logic. However, the “load more” pagination uses a different block/module.
Can anyone point me to where these other templates are located within the theme?
Hello,
I’m facing an issue with 2 extended shortcodes : “Text with title” and “Column text” using tagDiv composer.
When I add one of those 2 shortcodes, the text by default “Html code here! Replace this with any non empty text and that’s it.” appears, but I can’t modify it as nothing appear when I click on “Edit content”. See screenshot : https://www.screencast.com/t/D1eBqKIM
Thanks for helping.
Wow, With you help and comparing the font settings between the demo-created homepage and my homepage almost got what I wanted. Thanks for your help!
Two doubts left:
How can I remove the space between the header & The Big Grid?

And how can i set he Big Grid to have the same weight and set it on the bottom of the image, as it is on the demo. (I don’t see specific configuration for this on the theme panel, nor on the tagdiv composer on the homepage generated by the demo).

Hello Fortnite Viet Nam,
Notice that demo is available on our demos list which can be loaded from Theme panel and it’s made with Woocommerce plugin. It’s a custom-made demo and if you want to re-create it you should import it or create it with our page builder. As a hint, you should try using the Inspector Browser to check how it’s made. -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
You should create a new page using the TagDiv composer and Woocommerce shortcodes:
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/
Shortcodes are implemented like so in the TagDiv composer: https://www.screencast.com/t/LFAFqmzqyfIO using a column text element.
As a note, the tag div composer can only edit pages that have been originally created with it. The shop page is created by Woocommerce so it cannot be edited. Only replaced by a new one. Please use this guide to set another page as a shop page: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/configuring-woocommerce-settings/
Also, you can check the following topic from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-display-products/
Thanks for your understanding!
Dear, I was editing my homepage with TD Composer and it has the sidebar which I used on nearly every page. When I complete finishing editing it, then the sidebar disappears. I am sending you the screen shots.
Site is
Dear, this error is showing in the sidebar section of the page. Please check it out and help me with the solution of the problem
Maybe the plugin provides implementation by shortcode instead of widget, try it like that also. Enter the shortcode in a text element in the post sidebar, while designing the template with the composer.
Other than that I would’t have any solution, we have not included testing a compatibility between the new templates and that plugin.
Hi,
Those category pages are created by default. You can use the default templates for them or design your own category page templates with the cloud library plugin
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
So you can create templates for categories with the tagDiv composer.
I could’n t say what would be the best option here if you still want to go on with it, maybe you can research this more online. But the easiest would surely be to use the normal category pages, especially with the new options. No hassle with redirects or other issues that may happen if using a page.
Thanks
i see in demo: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/shop/
Featured products and custom text.
can you help me, im try using Edit with TD Composer but not working.
Hi,
We are aware of that issue, it seems to happen when our Cloud library plugin is active. It will be fixed as soon as possible.
But note that you can create pages with the tagDiv composer just like with the regular WordPress editor. There are many elements to choose from. For example text elements which use the same editor
– https://www.screencast.com/t/TNlVbaCkhAE
The column text for example has color settings, as well as font settings which will apply for that specific element. So you can create text sections even better than with the regular editor, with these additional settings.
Thanks
Hello SMNBLOG,
Please try the suggestions from these topics
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/
If there is still a problem, deactivate all plugin except theme plugins, check if the same happens. Also, try to edit a new page as well.
If nothing works, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login and cPanel if possible. We will take a look.
Thanks.
Hello TFM,
I’m sorry to hear this from you! Notice that we are here to help you! First of all, please make sure that your theme installing was made via FTP way, according to the following documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ Check your system status requirements to be increased according to the following useful guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ Remove all of your old plugins and then install them from the theme’s packet, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. We recommend being active only TD Composer without Visual Composer to avoid problems.
Also, if the problem is still there, please let us know and also, you should send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) and CPanel access so we can investigate it closer this case.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
I have edit the page with TD composer and after that my sidebar disappears. How could I turn it back on?
Hi,
Maybe your website resources are insufficient, these are the theme requirements
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Also if you have high traffic and maybe budget hosting such problems will happen.
Try to optimize the website as best you can, lower the page size, reduce the plugins if possible, fewer ads, also maybe consider using the tagDiv composer instead of Visual composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
Thanks
Hi,
Is there anyway to do Category filtering in blocks such that it will only show posts with a particular primary category?
e.g.
Post A has primary category Fruit, but is also in category Dessert
Post B has a primary category of Dessert.
In Block 1 I filter to show Dessert. I only want to see Post B, not Post A because it’s primary category is something else.
Is that possible?
Your help is most appreciated!
Thanks,
Janelle
So the problem continues. You could try these solutions, they solved various composer issues previously
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/
Also try the composer on a new page, also try with a different browser. Let us know the results.
From what I can see you are using theme version 8.7.2 in that version the setting was not yet implemented.
If you don’t want to update I could give you a code to chnage the links colors for the inline text, like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/cOYXcJcgIu
Use any color you want, the code can be entered in the Theme panel->Custom CSS code section
.tdm_block_inline_text a {
color: yellow;
}
If you decide to update the theme to the latest version, this is a guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Check the changelog here (to bottom of the page)
Note than since 8.7.5 the multi-purpose and tagDiv composer were combined into a single plugin. Also the Cloud library plugin was introduced
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
You could try to replicate that website with the tagDiv composer. There are many blocks and grids to choose from to display your posts
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
You can see them all in the live demo, check the “Features” menu. Also there are multi-purpose elements. Build a new page and start experimenting with the elements, row layouts etc. For full width results you can stretch the rows
– https://www.screencast.com/t/WrvV0gKfnlA5
You can set background colors, images or videos for row, check the row settings
– https://www.screencast.com/t/bbLWShGAzM
Also there are many demos you can check out, maybe you will decide to install a demo. See them all here
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/select_demo_newspaper

Hi,
I’m trying to choose between using either dynamic or static pages for my categories on my webpage.
e.g. for My “Things to Do” this is the automatically created page:
https://revesbyparents.com.au/category/things-to-do/
and this is the static page:
https://revesbyparents.com.au/things-to-do/
The problem I have with using the dynamic category pages is:
1. You don’t seem to be able to edit the dynamic category pages with TagDiv Composer.
2. I don’t like the URL it uses (would prefer having the shorter static URL)
If I changed to static pages though, if anyone ever clicks on the “Things to do” tag on a post they will be taken to the dynamic page anyway.
Do people normally keep both dynamic and static pages going and maintain both? If I stick to the dynamically created pages is there a way to edit these in the TagDiv composer or get more sophisticated layouts? Or is there a solution that I’m overlooking that gives you the best of both worlds?
Thank you,
Janelle

Hi, I used the image box element to customize sidebars on several pages like this one: https://devenirbilingue.com/apprendre-une-langue/anglais/applications-pour-apprendre-une-langue/ I chose the image height for each device when I built the page with TagDiv composer, however I can’t get the entire image on mobile. Depending on the mobile screen, the sidebar images are cut differently, but they never appears entirely. Do you know if I could get those image boxes nice on mobile?
Thank you.
Hello,
when I try to create a new page and I try to edit it in TAGDIV COMPOSER using the blue button that appears in the new page settings a Blank page appears. What can I do?
I already tried to uninstall/reinstall the plugin and also the theme with FTP.
Thank you for the help
Super frustrated with TagDiv support.
TagDiv composer disables randomly with zero warning but TagDiv support say there should be warning when plugin is out of date.
Am told to delete plugin and download new files from Themeforest…which I do.
Upon installation of latest files I finally get the “out of date plugin warning”, the plugin is still disabled and home page looks a mess.
How can I posibly have out of date files if I’ve only just downloaded them from Themeforest?
