Thanks – works perfectly.
Quick question on Tagdiv Composer – after composing a page with Tagdiv Composer (started a new blank page), after saving the page, the code for the page still reverts to VC code:
[vc_row full_width=”stretch_row_content td-stretch-content” ….
Am I doing something wrong? Surely this defeats all the hassles of changing over to Tagdiv composer if the code is still based on VC?
Thanks again for the support
Hello,
You can implement forms using the shortcode implementation. We have not tested getresponse so you will have to contact them and see a form of implementation they can suggest. You can use a columns text widget inside the tagdiv composer and then paste the shortcode inside the element like you would on a post in the MCE editor.
Thanks.
I understand. Good luck with the future development. The TD Composer is already looking good 🙂
Hi,
You could try some custom code in order to achieve this, as there is no specific composer element for displaying icons, at the moment.
In my example I have used an icon (128×128) like this, and set the height for it
– https://www.screencast.com/t/yEaTLXUX
They will be displayed like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/iQAMLrizj
But by applying some Css they will look like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/c8NHR3DDCoXv
This may be somewhat of a solution for doing it, if you cannot find any other solution. This is the code I used, if you decide to use it, enter it in Theme panel->Custom Css. The code applies to all your single image elements, so to make it more specific you can add an extra class just to the single images you want it to apply
– https://www.screencast.com/t/oG3jqZBa1u0
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Epvr2YMTpwL
.vc_single_image a {
background-size: contain;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
}
Please let me know if you need any further help, or have more questions.
Thanks
Hello enterpr1se,
Please notice that our theme is fully compatible with TD Composer and the Smart Sidebar should work as expected if it was correctly set in the theme. If you are using some untested plugins, you should remove all of them and leave just only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
There are many similar topics here on the forum with worse consequences in some cases. It is strongly not advised to update the Visual composer plugin before it is officially provided in the theme package, and supported.
Once the plugin receives an update, we will test it and include it with the theme. This will ensure a full compatibility between the two

Hi,
Do not edit pages created in Visual composer, with the tagDiv composer. This most likely will lead to problems as explained in the guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
Please create new pages and build them the way you like with the tagDiv composer

Thanks
Hello Knux0r,
Do you are referring to these images on the TD Composer sidebar? -> https://www.screencast.com/t/0vhg9aPklvD4 If is not what you mean, please provide more details about what you want to achieve, provide some useful screenshots so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
It is imperative that the theme system status is according to the documentation. Those WordPress and server parameters will ensure that the theme and the plugins will work properly.
If everything is set and the composer is not working as intended, a second step would be to deactivate all other plugins except this editor and clear any installed cache. Then test again.
If the problem is still present, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information, so we can investigate.
Also paste a link to this topic in your email.
Thanks
Hello Sjoerd,
Sorry for this but our TD Composer will not have implemented this feature in it! Notice that our builder is at the beginning and also, it is in a continuous development. You will not found all the elements which Visual Composer has. From now on, this plugin will be improved with some features which have to be exclusively for this builder.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
Please do not use both page builders at the same time as images get affected first. Please choose between one or the other but not both. We recommend the tagdiv composer as visual composer will receive no more new features. We will develop new options for our own builder exclusively.
As for the image options these are the only ones available: https://www.screencast.com/t/AfolQKhDJu
There are 2 styles added to the element.
Thank you!
Bogdan B
Hello paologalli,
You should simply download the latest theme version from Theme Forest the theme pack and there you will found the latest theme version. After you have installed the theme via FTP way you can check your theme status and check the theme version -> https://www.screencast.com/t/siAJ5y81Mf2U.
Notice that the Visual Composer was not removed, it will be in the theme packet but we have introduced our new page builder which is TD Composer which comes ready with the theme. For more information about how you can use this new page builder and how you can safely make the transition between these two plugins, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial-2/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
So you have tried to deactivate and delete the updated version, and installing the Visual composer from the theme package, with no result. Maybe something happened to the page elements with the update.
If that is the case you could only try and recreate the page, if you are absolutely sure that rolling back to the version included in the current theme package is not fixing the issue. Or restore a website backup if you have made one previously. I could not say what was damaged or what has to be done in this case unfortunately.
Thanks
Hi,
Yes, the new updated created this issue as you do not have to update the plugin directly from the plugin author. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Reverting back will not fix the pages. unfortunately by updating you may have compromise your pages and they will have to be recreated. This is the perfect time to switch to the tagdiv composer. Please do not use both page builders at the same time.
Thanks.
Hi,
The category pages and posts cannot be edited with tagDiv composer. This is a page editor, and it will only work on pages
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
The category pages can only be customized in the theme panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-category-settings-work/
In the post pages, you can set article ads in the post content
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/
You can also place ads in the sidebars
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebar-ads/
Anything else will probably require to modify the theme files, or use plugins that have this options to insert ads in other places then the available ones. You could search the forum for similar topics and suggestions. Like this one for example
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-add-or-created-ad-block-in-category-page/
Thanks
Hi,
Probably that happens because you have updated the Visual composer to the latest version. This is strongly not recommended, and it can cause problems like this
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
When an update for this plugin is released, we will first test it and then include it in the theme package when ready. Once provided in the package and officially supported, it will surely work as intended.
Try installing the Visual composer version that is currently bundled with the theme, and use it.
Thanks
The problem is solved.
Renamed folder with plugin js_composer by FTP.
Downloaded the last package of template updates and installed a plugin js_composer from it.
Activated the new version of js_composer.
Everything works, the blocks have appeared.
It works in Visual Composer but not in TagDiv Composer?
Is it a bug or TagDiv Composer doesn’t provide this function?
my website is https://www.enterpr1se.info/
Hi, I just updated to Newsmag 4.0
I tried to move my front page to TagDiv Composer
I watched the youtube video – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2wGizMz4X0
I added the Big Grid, then add a separator, then add Block 1 and change the row to 2/3 + 1/3
It will create a sidebar but it also make the Big Grid become 2/3 row, too
How to create a sidebar without affect Big Grid?
Just like my homepage now?

With TagDiv De-Activated, Single Image in Posts has no problem.
https://cowboylifestylenetwork.com/cheyenne-frontier-days-rodeo-2017/
With TagDiv Activated, Visual Composer Single Image in Posts does not resize:
http://clnnew.staging.wpengine.com/cheyenne-frontier-days-rodeo-2017/
I upgraded Newsmag, and this is the problem I ran into.
I thought TagDiv Composer only worked on pages.
We recently installed Newsmag 4.0 and have moved over to TD Composer, it works great and the pages do seem to load a lot faster. However, when editing in TD Composer the blocks do not show images next to them. So when adding blocks to a page we have to play a guessing game as to what the blocks look like. In your YouTube video, the blocks have images next to them showing you what they will look like but we do not see this on our site. Am I missing something?
I have never been able to get TD Composer to work for me http://www.thewealthscene.com/
When I drag an element across to the empty column, the circle just keeps spinning and nothing loads.
I have had to go back to sj composer but they want me to pay to install the updates.
Any ideas?
Hi,
I installed (included content) the Art Creek demo. So far, so good. I bought the VC builder, so i disabled the tagDiv plugin.
When I open the home page I see only text blocks, with content like this: [td_block_image_box image_item0="34045" height="720" style="" image_title_item0="Art evokes the mystery without which the world would not exist."]. I think these are tagDiv shortcodes.
The demo is not the same as the example. There are no background images shown.
Is there a way to migrate from tagdiv to VC? the other way around is possible, I read.
Regards,
Bert
Hello,
Is it possible to put Opt-in Forms from GetResponse on the main page?
How Can I do that using TAGDIV COMPOSER?
Thanks,
Rafael
Does TagDiv Composer work on posts or just pages?
