Hi Bettina,
Tagdiv composer is only available for pages, right? It is not there for posts. Surely there is a fast and simple way of disabling dates on individual posts? I want to keep the existing layout and style I currently have and have the option to disable the date for posts that ar more like articles.
Thanks
Perfect, I just send an email to contact@tagdiv.com with the subject: “TagDig Composer hanging while loading”. I’ve included an admin level WP login as well as an FTP user.
Hello Vincent!
You can add or delete the element from the tagdiv composer called “Single Post Views.” For example, you can have a single global cloud template without that element. Duplicate the template, rename it (add that element), and assign it manually to the articles you want. You can choose the template you like for some posts from a category in the theme panel settings -> categories.
Thank you!
Hello @Carel !
Unfortunately, it won’t work like this because it will take only the text and not run the shortcode.
A shortcode can be inserted by using the element called “Column text” or “Text with title”. “Column text” and “text with title” elements have a button called “edit content” and if you click on that button, the WP Editor will open, and you can add some text/code/shortcode there. Close the WP Editor from X, save the changes from Composer and view the page to see the changes.
Thank you!
Hello @Naseem786!
Did you build the pages with the TagDiv Composer?
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
Thank you!
i am not able to install the newspaper theme. Whenver I install the tagdiv composer, it stops in middle and gives ajax error. Then the site goes blank.
Hi
I am trying to use your clould templates with ACF fields.
It is working fine for most of my items.
But i cannot have shortcode displaying content on front page.
I have an ACF field “text” which is filled with a shortcode ( for instance [njt-gpr location=”Les Maisons Cléroises” place_id=”ChIJxagbP4Pc4EcRYUE45su72Rw” review_filter=”4″ review_limit=”20″review_characters=”220″ column=”1″ btn_write=”Laisser un avis” show_write_btn=”yes” business_website=”1″ business_phone=”1″ cache=”None” ]) which is set to display google reviews on a page.
Problem is that it displays the text of th shortcode.
And i cannot select an ACF field like embed or WYSWIG.
If i use elemento pro, i can make it work but the TAgdiv composer wont work.
How can i do ?
Thanks
Hello @kirovinvest!
Please check if the translations are applied for the list above, and if you save the settings in the theme panel, the settings are successfully saved, and there is no issue when you save the settings.
Edit the homepage with the TagDiv Composer, click on the row, and uncheck this option: https://app.screencast.com/qWulxMDuiAp90 in order to disable the sticky header for the Town Talk demo.
Check out this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/enabledisable-comments/.
Try to edit the article with the TagDiv Composer and delete the comments element.
Thank you!
Hello @mirage22!
You can add an additional icon there and a link for the social icons element in the tagdiv composer.
Thank you!
Hello @longphiho!
Please access this link and press the green button “Edit with the TagDiv Composer”.
Do you still see this issue?
Make a test and deactivate all plugins except tagDiv ones. Also, if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache, and try again.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!

Hello @gorthi!
We have only this widget tested with our theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/weather-widget/

Hello @smga!
The short way to do this is to access the page, click on the modal, and edit it from here: https://app.screencast.com/0wWQffEtbmysY
Please note that only when you hover can you see it. Every modal has a page that can be found in Dashboard -> Pages. Edit it with the TagDiv Composer.
For more information about modal popup, check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-popup/
Thank you!
Hello Vincent!
For default templates, here is the setting: https://app.screencast.com/Sy0vjYsVvJJ7n
For cloud templates, you can edit any template with the TagDiv Composer and delete the elements you do not need anymore.
We recommend using cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer, which contains a lot of functions and features. Please check out our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:

Hi Bettina,
Thank you for your message and link. As far as I can see from the link you provided, all recommended configurations are being met. As far as the CDN and caching recommendation, I am using a CDN and plugin for caching SiteGround’s “SuperCacher.”
The only issue I am having is with Composer. Everything else seems to be working well.
I thought maybe the pages I was working on were somehow corrupted, but I am still experiencing major lag even when I used a prebuilt page imported from “Cloud Templates.” I attached a new recording below.

Screenshot to Server Details
Screen Recording of Composer in use
Thank you for your time and attention.
We are currently using an older version of the tagDiv composer plugin, which is vulnerable to the XSS attack. Is there a way to update the plugin without updating the theme as we use a child theme that breaks when updating the newspaper theme.
Hi Bettina,
From your prior note via email reply regarding the space at the top:
“The content of the pages should be added in the Tagdiv Composer with the column text or text with title elements: https://app.screencast.com/Z7Y7×VYn1Y6Ma
The space there is because you need to have a row of content, which in your case was empty. You should use it for your content, and you can’t delete it because the page has been done with the TagDiv Composer.”
Here’s a recording of how I tried to follow your instructions. Evidently I’m still missing something:
https://app.screencast.com/reTt8FVI7N0aJ
Anamaria also said:
“You need to select this row -> https://i.imgur.com/5touFkt.png to be in the content section and add this element from tagdiv Composer to be able to add the text -> please check this video https://we.tl/t-b8B9UrlZm3 but you need to have two tabs, one with the page using tagdiv Composer, and one in the other tab to have the page in Gutenberg editor, and copy from there the text to add in the column text and after deleting the text from Gutenberg editor.”
Here’s a video of our attempt to do what she advised -https://psu.mediaspace.kaltura.com/media/Ken+Layng%27s+Personal+Meeting+Room/1_bwndx2y3
Hello @longphiho!
Edit the article with the TagDiv Composer, click on the post view element and delete it.
Thank you!
Is there parallax scrolling available in TD composer? (Cloud library)
I want to have similar effect like this page:

Hi, I am creating a page and do not see that “Gallery:” + option shown in your image.
A) How would I go about adding it to a page that is already created as a draft?
&
B) This seems to be created within WordPress and not within the TagDiv composer. Is there an option that all can be done through the TagDiv composer to make things easier/ efficient?
Hello @shony!
If you edit a category(Dashboard -> Posts -> Categories), you can see that you can add a category description there. This text can be displayed in your category template with the help of the element called “Category Description.” It will automatically take the text from every category.
Also, you can set an image for every category in the Theme Panel settings: https://app.screencast.com/pUIQ1eZYmySQ4.
Use the “Category Background Image” element when you edit the category template with the TagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
Hello, I need assistance as my previous post was not properly addressed.
How can I utilize the TagDiv Gallery option? I read documentation but it focuses on the WordPress Gallery, but I can’t seem to see how to use the Element, GALLERY.
See image here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1eLLBWcNTUK5kuOcKGL-l80h2lke7F5H1/view
My previous posts mentions the following:
Hello, how am I able to use the Gallery Element seen within the TagDiv composer?
I’ve created a “WordPress” gallery as shown in this support article, https://forum.tagdiv.com/gallery-2/, but the design outcome is not what I was hoping for.
When I add the Gallery element from the composer the “Gallery source” options is greyed out and I don’t know how to proceed.
Just in case, I have enabled the thumbnails as another article suggested to enable 80×90 and 0x420.
– – –
In the composer, there are elements already available to use.
One of those elements is a GALLERY.
How do I use that Gallery… the element that already exists.
I am not trying to add a new element to the system, I am trying to add the already existing Gallery element.
– – –
Don’t mean to complicate things with a 2nd post, but it appears that the first post did not receive the proper time to understand the request.
