If you want to update the theme, you should download the latest version of it from Theme Forest account and download it.

I recommend that you update the theme manually https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ via FTP/cPanel/File Manager, also if possible disable extra plugins during the theme update to avoid any problems that may arise and make sure that you have activated the tagDiv Standard pack plugin to keep the website’s look. You can try to update the theme on a staging website.
After you update the theme, you need to update the theme plugins too.
In the worst cases, the settings in the theme panel may be lost (there have been isolated cases), in these cases, after the theme plugins that were previously used are activated, you will have to use a backup for the theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/

Category template 5 is a default template and not a cloud one. So, you can not edit it with the tagdiv Composer. You need to assign a cloud category template from Cloud.

You can add the shortcode in the column text or text with title.
“Column text” and “text with title” elements have a button called “edit content” and if you click on that button, the WP Editor will open and you can add some text/code/shortcode there. Close the WP Editor from X, save the changes from Composer and view the page to see the changes.

Hi,
the warning message disappeared after I set heigth and width, just as you showed me.
But there is still this error message when I try to use the eventOn event-post editor in backend. Tagdiv Newspapaper and EventOn worked fine for 2 years now, no conflicts, no errors. But since Monday I get this error.
Here´s the error message. Tagdiv composer is mentioned there but I can not make sense of it. Do you have an Idea?

I can’t do any more adjusting I see.
Previously I could adjust it via “Edit with tagDiv Composer” but that no longer works.
I get to see “No cloud templates” strange
has something changed in the structure, have no need to adjust everything again.

It seems that something in your server settings is blocking the process.
Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.

If that problem is still there, then please execute these steps:
1. deactivate TagDiv Composer & Cloud Library
2. uninstall (delete) TagDiv Composer & Cloud Library

5. activate TagDiv Composer & Cloud Library
6. clear cache (if a cache plugin is present).

I believe that you want to add that element to display the categories in a drop-down. For to do this you need to go into appearance widgets and add in a sidebar the category list element and select to be as a dropdown – https://i.imgur.com/vMRNaVk.png then use tagDiv Composer to edit a page or cloud template and set the widget element in the place you want to set that element – https://i.imgur.com/n8MLThQ.png select the sidebar – https://i.imgur.com/AhwW8br.png and save the settings

I couldn’t open the home front page with “edit with TagDiv Composer” it keep on loading and showing this error. No idea what it is.

I have three flex blocks on homepage that are set to random search. Anytime I access the page while not logged into WordPress, the same “random” order appears no matter what device (desktop, laptop, iPhone) I use. They randomize when logged into WordPress, and if I access “Edit with TagDiv Composer,” hit save and logout of WordPress, they randomize but then again get stuck in the new order.
Thanks for replying, but the video does not help. I am unable to get to that editor screen; I cannot see how to enter tagdiv composer on my phone, the optin doesn’t appear when in poetriat mode. If I flip my phone to landscape, the correct logo appears.
On my computer the minute I change the window size to convert it to a mobile display, the tagdiv edit option vanishes.

I decided to disable Google Fonts due to slow loading time when testing my website with PageSpeed Insights.
I only use one font and to different weights from this font on my whole website.
So I downloaded the two fonts, converted to .woff and then uploaded as two custom fonts. And of course changed to these two custom fonts on all elements in Visual Composer.
It seemed to work fine in my browser (Chrome on Mac), and I was happy, because it also made a good effect on the loading time.
But then I checked on some other devices and browsers, and I found that it does not work a lot of places.
It does not work in Safari and Firefox at both Mac, iPad and iPhone. But it works fine in Chrome at all three devices.
What to do? Why do custom fonts only work in Chrome?
I am unable to activate the plugin td-composer while activating it shows an error.
This plugin failed to load properly and is paused during recovery mode.
I deactivated all of the plugins and left only Tagdiv plugins and still not loading tagdiv Composer and removed the Menu from the top of my website.

We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. You can edit a post or article with the TagDiv Composer and add an inline text with the message you need to display and place it at the bottom of your post’s content. Please make sure you place it in the content and not in the footer zone.
