Using TagDiv Composer.
Try what you did in the video, but make sure you save it and then view the front end of it. I can get it to look that way in the tagdiv composer, but the front end is messed up.

Cache cleared.

I’ve tried deactivating just about all of the plugins.
Switched to the parent newspaper theme.

Created New Page and tested it in different row configurations. The only one it will work in is a single column row.

I also tried this on a completely different newspaper site and got the exact same result. Block 14 will not in a multi-column layout.

The desktop version of my website https://www.happyinshape.com looks the way I want it to look and looks the way I’ve configured it through the TagDiv composer, but when opening my website on a mobile device (iPhone 11) it looks way different:
– no header menu
– no logo
– no ad below the menu
– very different footer than desktop
It’s really confusing me since I didn’t add a ‘mobile page’, also the design looks good in the composer when selecting the mobile device and I don’t have a clue where the mobile variant of my website gets the current footer from since it differs completely from what I’ve configured.

In short: what page is loaded when my website is visited on a mobile device and how can I make it look like the desktop version I’ve configured? I just want it to have the same blocks, order and content on both devices.

Reproduction possible by visiting the mentioned URL on desktop / laptop and on mobile and compare the homepage.

Hello,

These are the paths => wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/td_config.php => https://i.imgur.com/bQpMgSf.png and this for flex block 1wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/modules/td_module_flex_1.php
but if you want only to change the height and width for image, you can do it like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/BKlPEkNwfj8
Also, please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-change-the-size-of-thumbs-on-moduleblock/

Hello,

So, if I understood correctly, you to add a caption for the featured image you would add you added the title element, right?
if so, then yes, that item will be on all posts, to add a caption for the featured image, it must be added when you choose that image, like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/6e3XdnGs -> https://www.screencast.com/t/IxnAxfrHPuEX
tagDiv Composer is a page and cloud builder, it can be used only for pages and cloud templates, therefore you can use it on a single post template from tagDiv cloud library to adjust the layout, but not to write the post content, for this, you need to use the WordPress editor, you can only change the style/layout, this is a video about single post template => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6m8-EebnfM0
For fonts, you can check what family fonts apply on the post using the option from sidebar tool for each element => https://www.screencast.com/t/XLqSdtPv or from Manager(Website Manager) -> Fonts => https://www.screencast.com/t/zyhMF5hU -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbkYVyj1__Q

You can find more tutorials on our channel on youtube =>https://www.youtube.com/user/tagdiv which can help you to redesign.

A solution for sending a screenshot is this:
Download, capture, send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link, paste it here.

Hope this helps you!

Hi Anna Maria, I have carried out the indicated steps but I still cannot enter the pages using EDIT WITH TD COMPOSER .. For the rest it seems to work

Got the solution, I have a custom Gutenberg editor installed. I don’t understand how that messes up with the composer, turning it off solved the problem.

Hello!

First of all, try to do these steps as quickly as possible, so your visitors do not notice the process:

1. disable TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall(delete) TagDiv Composer
3. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
4. install TagDiv Composer
5. activate TagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)

Also, make sure your WordPress and plugins are up to date(specially Standard Pack installed and active if you use default templates).
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.
We recommend using WP Super Cache plugin https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Let us know about your results!

Sorry but I don’t know how to send you a link with screen shot it appears. This is my website: https://bagtotag.com/

I am using a single post template form your style news demo. I haven’t changed almost anything there.
I input posts text and photos going in my admin panel-> posts -> add new.
Once added it appears on the website as a new post in the single post template mentioned above.
I edit posts going to a specific post -> edit with tag div composer -> the text and photos appear in a single post content element, and above this element I added a new column title element where I wrote the caption.
This caption instead of being added to this one specific post, appears suddenly in each post, including the template.

How can I add elements to each post separately? Do you have a video tutorial on adding posts using you single post templates? Because the single post content bloc makes it impossible to change anything within the post content, should I do it differently?

Also check out please the post https://bagtotag.com/fendi-baguette/ and look at the title – there is a problem with the font. The double f looks strange, the two fs are different from each other.

All the best,

Barbara

Hello,

If you want to set it for flex block 5, here is the block path wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/shortcodes/td_flex_block_5.php and use module 5 in the path above, sorry, but I don’t know exactly where that code should be added because I’m not a developer.

Thank you for your understanding!

But i don’t get it.. you offer support for CPT in the Newspaper Theme panel but you can’t edit them with TagDiv Composer? It doesn’t seem logical.. Are you sure there isn’t another work around we can try to get this to work? All i want is my CPT’s to have the same layout as my default posts. Is there another way how i can achieve this without using TagDiv composer?

Bettina

Hello!

Please note that the default templates or CPT you can not modify with TagDiv Composer plugin because they are not compatible.

Thank you!

Hi, my site on au.thefinder.life is using tagdiv composer.

Before it works fine, now it seems like the page builder is broken.

Any workaround for this?

After updating from 10.3.9 to 10.4 I am experiencing major problems with the tagdiv editor.

I can’t add new elements or templates via the tagdiv menu.
If you import templates, they are not imported or delete all other elements of the page.
Newly added elements (e.g. spacing elements) cannot be edited or deleted. Also when editing already existing elements the error message appears after a while and the editor freezes.

If you open the console you will see corrupt .js files, which are probably directly related to the tag-div-composer plugin.

The exact error message is:
“changeData Error: Element model id is not in $refEl data! Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)”.

In another forum entry the same error is reported in combination with the translation plugin WPML, but I don’t use that.

I hope even with the unspecific information, somecone can give me a hint

Thank you

Hello,

You have a Single Post Template, so edit the post with tagDiv Composer, so you can delete with right-click or using the drag and drop -> https://www.screencast.com/t/AHTAlk6D or you can simply click on the row and press the delete button from your keyboard.

Thank you!

Newspaper version: 10.4
WordPress version: 5.7.1
PHP-Version: 7.4
Browser: Chrome (latest)
Installed plugins:
– tagDiv Cloud Library
– tagDiv Composer
– tagDiv Social Counter
– tagDiv Standard Pack

Hello,

When adding a new element via Composer the element is added, but not usable. When trying to delete the element, we encounter multiple errors, see https://imgur.com/a/IU09YPf

We tried to deactivate all unnecessary plugins, but the error still occurs.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Hello !

You will have to first start looking for a plugin conflict. please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Also you can try and remove and re-install the tagDiv Composer plugin and please send us a link to your website in order to take a look.

Let us know the results.

Thank you !

Hi

> I have imported a single post template via the Cloud Library (Single Post Template – Magazine PRO). Edited the template for the desktop version, all good.

> Imported a header and a footer template and designed them to my liking (Header Magazine Pro Mobile & Footer Magazine Pro Mobile). These are only for the mobile view.

Now, I created a mobile version page of Single Post Template – Magazine PRO using the TagDiv Composer, assigned the two mobile header & footer templates but they are not showing.

If I would be able to edit the Single Post Template – Magazine PRO using the Gutenberg editor and disable the mobile theme settings I believe it would work, as it works for regular pages.

https://i.imgur.com/PFpL5vE.png

How can I disable the mobile theme for a desktop cloud library template?

Please advise.

Thank you
