- NewspaperWooCommerce: Happy “Add to Favorites!”
I want to sell memberships (subscriptions with restricted content), get donations and physical products. Right now I have WooCommerce and WooCommerce Memberships installed.
1. Setup the “My Account” page:
Do not be fooled about the “Woo Shortcodes” block in TagDiv composer. You cannot add shortcodes here (only the ones in the drop down menu).
Instead you have to use “Column text” and then open the WP Editor. Only as raw text (not visual tab) can you add the shortcodes, for example [woocommerce_my_account].
If you add [woocommerce_my_account] in the “Woo Shortcodes” block it will not display correctly (at least it displays differently for me).
I use the [woocommerce_my_account] shortcode on two pages (it is the default on my account page as mandated by Woocommerce), but it is also my main login shortcode.
2. Do the same for mandatory pages:
Create a new page (or edit old one). Add “Column text” and add shortcodes with WP Editor (Edit Content):
[woocommerce_checkout] (check out page)
[woocommerce_cart] (cart page)
(also make a Terms and conditions page)
3. Under the Woocommerce setting (advanced) assign the 3 pages you made (or edited). Cart, Checkout and My Account.
Here comes the problems:
4. The shop page I cannot edit at all. The content is somehow forced with a really ugly layout. I cannot make my own shop page as it is hard-coded from “My Account”.
5. The shop page only covers 2/3 of the page, leaving a 1/3 empty side bar. The checkout, cart and my account pages do not have this problem.
6. The final payment button is PINK. How to change this?
Hi
first time user and I am a bit confused about the phylosofy of the Newspaper theme and how to actually use it. I searched the forums and there are lots of useful tips, but I cannot find a “high level” guide. So I ask here:
1) If I undersand correctly, there are three ways to design a home page: 1) Customise (for very simple changes) 2) Theme Panel, to select many options from sets of predefined blocks/template etc.. 3) TagDiv Composer to have full flexibility from stracth to create a “Page” that then needs to be assigned as “Static” in Customise to make it home page. CloudTemplate offer additional choices in either Theme Panel or TagDiv Composer. If I limit changes to what Theme Panel offer, then that directly becomes the home page (Dynamic in Customise) Do I get the concept right?
2) As a starting point, I would like to use a default Demo, for example “Politics” on an existing Word Press webiste that has already its own post. How do I make certain posts, say 3, add them to the Grid at the top. When I activate the demo, there is no grid being shown, I guess I need to someohow tell the demo which posts should be in the grid (sticky post does not work, it just puts the post on top of the list).
Thanks
I’ve noticed that my cloud templates and certain elements are being indexed on google but I don’t want these pages searchable (just usable by me). How can I remove these from the index?
For example, Google gives me an error about the below telling me the font is too etc as if it is a regular page but this clearly should not be showing up on google or as part of my site.
https://mindfulpump.com/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/assets/fonts/font-awesome/
It also appears that a query was made “font awesome composer” and a click through to the site because of it. Why is this happening?
I have a Yoast premium account that does noindexing but doesn’t seem to be doing the trick.
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
I am trying to remove the thumbnails but no luck: https://i.imgur.com/QHplhcO.png
I see no option via TagDiv Composer when editing the Cloud Template.
Can you help me please?
Thank you a lot!
I tried placing ad using the TagDiv Composer with ‘ad box> Custom ad> then placing google ad code’. You can check the link below.
When I place the AdSense ad code in the ‘Custom Ad’ section and save the code disappears. No google ad is showing up. Have I mistaken anything? What is the issue? Can you help me with the matter? Thanks.

NB: Other ads I have placed with another plugin named ‘Ad Inserter’. But in this red circle specific area (shown in the link image), I cannot place ad.
background videos no longer works on the TD composer row?
Site URL: https://wb40.com/
I Had a security issue – WPengine fixed the issue now the TagDiv Composer doesn’t work at all on either old pages or new pages.
Creating a new page doesn’t enable the TagDiv

Editing a new page with TagDiv

Error Code when editing an existing page

On the page using TD Composer, there’s a bigger margin between the navigation and the top of the content. Is there a way to shorten that gap so it is consistent with default pages?
Thanks.
Hello!
I just made a video for you to see how you can edit a post with TagDiv Composer plugin.
Make sure you have installed this plugin from Dashboard -> Plugins in order to have those settings and the builder available.
In the links which I provide you above it is described step by step how to use all the features. Also, here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/ it is described the mega menu how to do achieve it like in the demo.
Everything you need to understand how it is working, you can find in our documentation step by step.
If you don’t can manage also with the documentation step by step, then you can contact our custom work team here: https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/ ; and they will do it for you.
Thank you for understanding!
Hello!
I can not see your video because it is private.
If you have a cloud/PRO template, then you should be able to edit them like in this video: https://www.screencast.com/t/SJay3CdCwK7a
Note that you need to access a post from your website, then edit with TagDiv Composer.
For every feature I just add also a screenshot to see exactly how to do it.
For more information about TagDiv Composer plugin, you can check this documentation from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Please check carefully every feature which I just explained you above and let me know exactly what you can not manage to achieve it, and I will gladly assist you.
Thank you!
Hello,
Thank you for your replay, the thing is that I’m not using the featured image block in TagDiv Composer (I’ve deleted it) and yet it still appears.
I guess it’s shown from the “Single Post Smartlist” block. I tried to find an option to hide it but I can’t find it anywhere.
ALSO, read more tag isn’t working, how I can fix it, please?
thank you
Hello!
You can not assign any template to a CPT, or edit it with TagDiv Composer.
For more information about that, check our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-post-type-support/
Thank you!
So How do you edit a post with TagDiv Composer? I need more step by step instructions from beginning to end if possible.
ALSO: can you please give me step by step instructions on how to do what I am showing in this short video? https://youtu.be/lH4O57PRP_Y
Example
Dashboard > Posts > TagDiv Composure > etc…
I do not see any button in posts to switch to tagdiv composure. How do I get buttons to show?
When opening my newspaper site on mobile, I receive thid message:
Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/homepages/9/d850368471/htdocs/icel/wp-content/Newspaper/tagdiv-deploy-mode.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php7.4′) in /homepages/9/d850368471/htdocs/icel/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/functions.php on line 11\
——————————-
surley there is no (/wp-content/Newspaper/….) on wordpress. It should be (/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/….)
How can I fix this?
Thank you
Hello!
It seems you use a cloud template, so you can easy modify the post with TagDiv Composer and make any changes you want there. For more information about TagDiv Composer plugin, check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
To modify the post note that you need to access the post in your website and then click on the green button “Edit with TagDiv Composer”.
Like that, you can delete the featured image that you don’t need or any other element by clicking the element and you can see a recycle bin basket right there, click and the element is deleted.
If you click on any button, you will see which element include that button and also you will have some settings to change the design of it. If you want any settings that is not included in that element, then you can change the element or you can write a custom CSS code in theme panel to modify the design of the element.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Smartphone ads appear. Already on the desktop (PC) the ads do not appear.
I have already inserted the code in Newspaper> Theme Panel> ADS. And in the TagDiv Composer: EM Custom ad!
But it still doesn’t appear on the desktop.
Hello!
The setting you did are ok. In order to display the information of the review in an article you need to access that article and edit it with TagDiv Composer and add the elements called : Single Post Review Overview, Single Post Review Overall and Single Post Review Summary.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hi there,
How do I add quote boxes in my blog posts like in the Newspaper Baby Pro demo?
I know it’s somewhere within TagDiv Composer but I could not figure out how.
Thank you!
Hi there,
We wanted to add a like feature for all our posts and we were trying to customise it to be in the middle of the screen and increase the size to be similar to the share button.
We have gone to the theme panel > post settings > top article like
Please see photo attached
https://paste.pics/430b5b457bb965d386dccb5c1cebccdc
We are looking in the backend but can’t seem to figure out where to look. Can you point us in the right direction as to where to find the ‘Like’ button to customise it with css or the php file.
Also how do we show likes on a posts similar to what you can with comments using TD composer?

Hello !
Please await for the new improvements that this update will bring in order to have a point to start the new improvements. Also in my personal opinion it is hard to compare TagDiv Composer with WP Bakery taking in consideration the customizability options that TagDiv offers.
Thank you for your patience !
Thank you very much Calin,
I dont know how to create plugin child in theme, because /wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/parts/header/top-menu.php is in the plugin file, not in theme file.
Do you know how to do it?
Thanks many
Hello,
I noticed that the Visual Composer and Slider revolution plugins for WordPress are now outdated for quite a while now, I would like to ask when will be the next update for those plugins?
Thank you.
Hello,
If you want to insert only the icons you can use the font awesome => https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-add-icons-in-menu/
Also, you can create that menu with tagDiv Composer or you can import a menu that is like your menu from Cloud Templates => https://prnt.sc/10dgh3l
Hope this helps better!
Thank you!

my site nevessta.ru

1 All plugins are deactivated, this
did not help. No plugin conflict.
2 Removed tagdiv composer. And then I installed it. It did not help.
Hello,
We have a question about AddThis buttons on a page with TD Composer.
We just updated our default Calendar page to use TD Composer. We created two columns (HTML code for Google calendar, and recent stories by category) and manually added the title of the page in a new row above the two columns. But the AddThis buttons are now aligned all the way to the left. https://www.globeslcc.com/calendar/
Please compare the above page to a default page without TD Composer. The AddThis buttons appear below the title, in line with the title and content, like on this page. https://www.globeslcc.com/about-us/
How do you fix the location of the AddThis buttons on a page with TD Composer to match the button layout on default pages?
Thank you.
