Hi,
You can disable the category tag for each module you want
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/category-tag-on-modulesblocks/
Here is a list mentioning which modules every block/grid contain
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-blocks-modules/
I see you disabled them however, there are no category tags in the homepage at the moment.
The date can only be disabled in general, in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/hfhYeLpW5zh
If you want to remove it just for that block in the homnepage, use a CSS code like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/WbBKAjyHz
.td_block_17 .td-post-date,
.td_block_17 .td-post-author-name span {
display: none;
}
Thanks
Hi, I use a lot the arrow lists and bullet points and I’d like to add more space between each paragraph. Could you help me to do that?
If you could also tell me how to change the color of H4 and H5 titles, it would be great.
I’m not familiar with CSS, please let me know where to add the code. Also, will this kind of changes disappear when I will update the theme?
Thank you so much!
We got it working on the desktop version but the mobile version of the author page isn’t looking well. Here is the CSS I am trying but it still looks very bad on mobile:
@media(min-width:767px) {.author-box-wrap .desc {
margin-left: 17px !important;
}}
The built-in blockquote styles do not gel with my website branding. I am using ‘Newspaper’ template.
I tried to style them with additional CSS but that is not working. How may I overriding the predefined blockquotes please?
Thanks
If you modified the main theme files, then you will lose your modifications when you update. If you placed any CSS in the custom CSS section, then it will not be lost. For the first option, it is better you backup your site and theme files and then check which files have been modified in the new update and add back your code https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
When I edit a page with tagDiv Composer, it show up an editor with message “Welcome to tagDiv Composer” and Add Element button on the left. But on the right the spinner is spinning and not stop.
When I look at Chrome inspector console, I saw 2 errors;
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 () -> https://www.mysite.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper-child/font-newspaper.css?ver=8.8.1
and
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 () -> https://www.mysite.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/admin-style.css?ver=1.0.0
Please advise, many thanks.
Hi, I’m seeing the following shortcode in the Website Preview when I share my site’s link on Facebook.
Home
[vc_row_inner css=”.vc_custom_1444876145823{padding-top: 0px
Any clues as to why this might be happening?
Hi, I want a sidebar width to be exactly 300px. On browser resizing, if 300px sidebar width content can’t be fit it in, I don’t want to see a responsive sidebar by becoming slimmer & slimmer but rather I want the sidebar to be dropped to the bottom of the page. I have tried many CSS tweaks but could not make it work. BTW I have smart sidebar option turned on from theme panel as well.
Could you please suggest exactly what do I have to do to achieve this?
Thanks, JK
I already tried some custom css codes, like this:
.td-icon-mobile{
display:none!important;
}
.td-header{
display:none!important;
}
But nothing works as expected.
To test this I have just deleted ANY url in the theme panel > logo header – I went into a separate browser and the CSS has not updated! What is going on I wonder? This is very strange.
The save function in the theme panel is not updating my edits.
Shane
Simion I notice that the new background image I have update the theme panel header logo to is still pointing to this image dimensions (1345 x 276) https://www.thechildhoodlife.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Childhood-Life-Logo-Background-1349-x-276.jpg
I have updated the theme panel > header > logo url to this image dimensions (2698-x-552) https://www.thechildhoodlife.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Childhood-Life-Logo-Background-2698-x-552.jpg and I have checked it several times but yet it has not updated on the website.
Shane
Simion I have tried that several times with lots of variation on the classes and parent divs I target.
I have used the !important rule, I have used the custom css module in the theme panel, I have used the live css module, the wordpress native customizer tool.
I can’t remove it! Need help
Hello,
The code should be placed here: https://www.screencast.com/t/tBr8EPrKnMPX
If you want to change the color for the code please check css colors:
https://www.webpagefx.com/web-design/color-picker/
Thanks.
cssminifier didn’t work for me , but did it with your second link, worked just fine !
thank you again.
Now that is unusual, it seems to be a social icon from the theme. These should not display unless account links are entered for them in the theme panel.
Try to enter this code in Theme panel->Custom CSS
– https://www.screencast.com/t/oUxJ5IwFu
.td-header-sp-top-widget .td-social-icon-wrap {
display: none;
}
I have tried the same code to remove the section :
<div class=”wppaszone paszone-5819 ” id=”5819″ style=”overflow:hidden; max-width:1070px; max-height:230px; margin: 0 auto; text-align:center; “><div class=”wppasrotate paszoneholder-5819″ style=””><div class=”pasli pasli-8333 ” aid=”5819″ bid=”8333″ data-duration=”5000″>
</div></div></div>
but it doesn’t work. Still visible. you can see it now with the css added.
Hi,
Try to minify the CSS, minify it manually
– https://cssminifier.com/
Or try as suggested here in this topic by a theme user
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tip-how-to-easily-minify-your-css-without-breaking-your-site/
Thanks
Hi,
This is already on our list, but unfortunately no changes have been made in the matter so far.
We will prioritize this if possible and something will be done regarding the Live CSS editor functionality as soon as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Thanks
No I tried that already. I made sure all text boxes for the social links were empty.
This is what I am trying to say to you, I have tried alot of options including CSS in theme panel and Live CSS.
Hi,
when checking on gtmetrix or other , we can see that this :(https://themaghrebtimes.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/style.css?ver=8.8.1 ) is taking more than 2 seconds to load , any idea on how to optimize this ? and it’s happening since last update .
thank you
Hello,
We are using Newspaper Theme and wrote some custom CSS in Live CSS. We just noticed that in production (no logged in WordPress user), we see CSS is showing in 2 places and one is part of the HTML, where Live CSS editor is hidden. We have removed the css from live css but we noticed that the editor html + css is showing in the html. Not only is the css duplicated unnecessarily but also there is unnecessary code. You can see it on our https://www.kinbox.com
Here is the example of the code we see.
<textarea class="tdw-css-writer-editor td_live_css_uid_1_5b2391f5d7105">.my-class....{display:none;}</textarea>
You are doing nothing wrong, that header style is boxed by default. Now you could enter this code in the Theme panel->Custom CSS
– https://www.screencast.com/t/MtwBNxdEbzA
.td-header-style-3 .td-header-menu-wrap {
background-color: #2c3240;
}
This would be a solution to also have the centered menus and a background color as you want.
Hi,
@muxurou Seems to work now from what I can see
– https://www.screencast.com/t/N2t678WU
The mobile theme has a different Custom CSS section, maybe that was the problem.
