I’m trying to change the colour of the category background to something gradient, but in the TD composer it only gives me single colour choices.

I tried editing it in the custom css, but it wouldn’t change. Can I edit the css somewhere to change it from ‘background-color’ to ‘background:’

As the title says I cannot get the AMP plugin to work.

Going by googles AMP site test there is errors in the css.

The error states: The text inside tag ‘style amp-custom’ contains ‘CSS !important’, which is disallowed.

I’ve only added 4 custom css styles, all of which have no !important tag.

Could you please help me in locating the error? thanks

I see these errors when running a site test.

The following requests are returning 404/410 responses. Either fix the broken links, or remove the references to the non-existent resources.

I found mention of these 2 files in the editor but don’t know what they are other than they are font related.

I have a BIG problem.

I would like you read the whole text carefully, it is important.

I started my journey on wordpress a few months ago.

I installed the theme, some plugins, and I began to customize the css of the website without knowing that I would first have to create a child theme.

A few days ago a man told me that, with the first update of the theme, I will lost all my changes without a child theme.

So I looked for a guide to update the theme (it was recently released a new version) without losing the changes.

I installed a plugin to make the backup.

I made the backup, and following the same guide on the internet, I tried to install the new theme, without success.

Wanting to go back then I took my backup of the theme and installed it: what happened? The site crashed due to the td composer plugin, integrated into my theme (probably something went wrong in creating the backup).

After restoring the site thanks to the assistance of siteground, the majority of the categories and widgets disappeared; moreover, as if this were not enough, the td composer plugin (the pillar of my website), after being reinstalled, now is flickering when i try tu use it.

Now I’ve recreated the missing categories and widgets, but the fact remains that I absolutely have to learn how to update the theme without crashing the site or losing the changes.

So what would I like to do with your support? I would like to create a correct backup of the site and proceed to update the theme without losing even a personalization (and of course resolve the crashing and the flickering of td composer).

I have changed some stuff in my CSS files and modules’ structure of my Newspaper. If I install this new version, will those changes disappear?

Hi,

If we hide the admin bar on frontend for authors, the admin bar disappears but doing scroll the sticky menu doesn’t stay at top. It leaves a blank space where the admin bar was supposed to be.

We find out it was a theme css issue, and we made the following changes:

.admin-bar .td-header-menu-wrap.td-affix {
top:0;
}

That works well for authors but not for admins. The sticky menu now stays behind the admin bar. How can we workaround this?

I’m just about to finish creating a website with Newspaper and I want to have a full screen image on the homepage.

I’ve used the image block to do this, but there is a large gap of white space below the nav bar (see screenshot below).

Is there any CSS you can give me to reduce this?

The ideal situation is that the image sits nicely against the nav bar with no white space.

Hello, I would like to change the Back to Top button which is currently an icon and some CSS to a transparent PNG. Might this be possible with some custom code that I can point to the PNG file?

I’m not very familiar with php, but I want to add a disclosure to the loop-single.php code. I am using the Default Site Post Template, and this is the file that seems to map to that one.

What I want to do is add the disclosure right under the ‘By Author’ portion.

The code I am looking to add is as follows:

I will have additional CSS that will modify the styles as necessary. My goal is to have this disclaimer across all blogs on my whole site, without having to manually add it each time I use affiliate links.

Any assistance in modifying the above code to a more php friendly format, or another method of adding i t would be greatly appreciated. I currently do not have my staging environment setup, or I would just go see if I can paste the code in verbatim there.

Hello! how are you?
First of all nice theme!, really fast and really easy to use.

My problems are that I’m having trouble with tagdiv composer and with the theme panel.
1 • TagDiv composer: whenever I make a change on some element, the tagdiv composer shows the change, but when I click the “save” button it keeps on saving for eternity (like a loop). I go to my homepage and I see the changes but, tagdiv never stop saving, something is wrong here.

2 • Theme Panel: what’s happening here, is that it does not matter what changes I make, when I click the save button it does not save them. It says that the changes are saved but when I go to see the homepage (or the option I was working on) there’s no change. I tryed different things but the only thing that “makes it work” (not always) is to create a nonesense new css class like “.test { color:white }” and save the changes. Then I can see them on the web.

What could be happening? can you help me fix it? any help is appreciated. Thanks very much!
