If you have a demo installed and you made changes on it the changes on the demo posts and pages will be lost -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
Also if the posts and pages were made using our theme then it should work to edit the pages. Please make sure that you do not have any conflict plugins, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins (theme plugins), also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
If there is still a problem, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login (to can login in WordPress admin zone) and the license. We will take a look to the problem and we’ll fix it. Include a link to this topic in the email.

I did what you suggested. I removed all plugins, left only tagDiv plugins active. No change. Problems still present.

It is only on the pages. Posts are not effected by it.
On pages. “Add new” button and create a new sample page, everything is working great, as it should.
Only the pages I created in 2019, before the big update in Newspaper theme, having the problem with the “Edit” button. As mention earlier, “Edit with TD Composer”, “quick Edit” and the rest, is working as expected.
I have no clue what to do else, except uninstall the demotheme or, worse, redo the entire wp-installation, but later I really want to avoid.

I hope the screenshot is showing. As you can see it is all fine.
I will check the plugin for potential conflict, but honest, since I haven’t made changes I don’t expect any conflicts. The only exceptions are the tagDiv plugins. Therefore I will re-install the tagDiv Composer plugin first.
Since I have your ear, is it save to uninstall demotheme and its content, without loosing any changes and my blogpost and pages? – Do you understand what I try to say, hopefully?!

I have imported a PRO DEMO (Newspaper Animals Pro) and customized it accordingly. They showed a video in the demo but after importing it to my WordPress that video disappeared. I tried to add new youtube video ID but it’s not showing anything.

Got the latest update for Newspaper installed.
When using the Edit Button on posts, everything is working fine.
Doing the same for pages is causing problems.
Using the Edit button for an older page, created in 2019, the system is loading half way and get stuck. Nothing working, no progress, no finish. Have to close the browser window and reopen a new one.
“Edit with TD Composer” and all other buttons are working as they should, only “Edit” is not.
Exception: Once I create a “ADD NEW” pages, saved it, the “Edit” button is working. I also could use “Edit with TD Composer” and save everything. These pages are working and behaving as they should.
How do I fix this?
Do I have to re-create all pages created before the latest update?
At the time I used Newspaper Theme I installed a demo theme, but never removed it. Instead I made all adjustments and changes as needed. Now I wonder, can I uninstall the demo theme without loosing any changes?

thanks for the very detailed answer. I apologize to your colleague but I ask specific questions and I seek precise answers. Your answer was perfect.
So, I did some tests: I saved all the templates in notepad ++ with the name header, footer, date, category, etc. But I also saved the Home page code. Then I deleted the Newspaper theme by deactivating and then deleting the plugins and finally I cleared the cache (purge cache all).
At this point the site was virgin (clean).
I reinstalled newspaper and I uploaded the demo Magazine Pro.
I went to Cloud Templates and I replaced the code I had saved saved on each template (header, footer, date, category, etc,). Then I went to the Theme Panel and imported the code I had saved. However, this was not enough to have the whole theme that I had changed it. I only saw the correct header and footer. So I went to the pages and I opened the home page and I replaced the original code with the one I had saved from the modified home page. In this way I have revised the whole theme as it was previously. Is my procedure correct?
I have always done these operations on the test site and not on the Magazine where I have to export everything. I would like to know if the procedure I used is correct.

Hi Support, my footer is blank (under theme panel) and there is no settings unlike the ones shown in the demo. Meanwhile, when I tried to create a footer using Cloud library, I am unable to edit in TagDiv Composer thereafter – no such settings is available. On the other hand, I was able to work with the Composer for Header. What’s going on?
I have upgraded to 10.3.8 and have COV-19 ITALY REPORT PRO demo installed.
After upgrade my story templates show Italy report pro default headers and footers again.
Fortunately, my site is not yet online but I have to configure my own settings again.
1. How do I make sure my own headers and footers stay after upgrades?
2. How can I make only one change to headers and footers? I have a lot of different story templates, if I change
any settings in footers and headers will they override the default header and footer template?

The issue is that the button to Include content is getting hidden in chrome browser in 100% view, I needed to reduce my page size to 80% to install demo only (by disabling the button)
Hi Calin, after the recent update it seems the option to exclude content while installing demo theme is removed??

You will only lose the looks. Simply deactivate the demo default and install the demo pro. Your content will not be affected.

My home page is in blank, and when I try the page with TD composer, I get this error:

I have just reviewed my website. Installed demo is Default. But there is a demo Default Pro that Install button is active. So it means I should uninstall my current Default and install Default Pro, yes? What will I lose if I do that? I am a little bit confused.

Actually I use Pro demo but I did some customization. For example I have added some blocks, added custom css for menu and etc. Now before deactiavting Standard Pack should I install Pro demo again or download it from tagdiv composer? I mean I need to know the sequence of the actions that I should take before deactivating Standard Pack.

Losing your content is not a risk. If you don’t have a design at the moment I would recommend using a PRO Demo. A pro demo will install all the necessary templates that you will be able to remove the standard pack.
