For a practiced user, it was only 5 minutes, for me 5 hours, always with the fear that something might not work in the end.
I did everything as it is, child theme is active. I then imported and adjusted a single template demo. However, only a “standard” page without a sidebar is displayed.
I am now really at a loss and totally overwhelmed 🙁
I installed the Theme. Installed the Magazine Pro Pro data. WP says the demo was installed but when I go to the homepage it says home page > blog.

If I understand correctly, you set the ads in theme panel, here -> https://i.imgur.com/c6m9lYJ.png and there are no changings on live website.
You are using a pro demo, with a cloud header, those are not using the ads from theme panel. Pro demos are made using tagDiv Composer and cloud templates, all these can be edited with tagDiv Composer and the ads are set in ad box element -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-ad-spots/ ; the ad box has 3 sections for ads: using theme panel ads -> https://i.imgur.com/KFa9ibl.png, using images/banners -> https://i.imgur.com/MfAPTaE.png and custom code -> https://i.imgur.com/2rh8SuD.png

Usually this problem appear only when you are using a pro demo made with tagDiv Cloud Library and you have enabled WPBakery plugin. We recommend to use only one of them, not both, please check the plugins that you have enabled and let only tagDiv plugins.

The widget section will apply for footer or default sidebar only for standard demos -> https://i.imgur.com/L3FjWCk.jpg, if you are using a pro demo, these are build using tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library, and it can be edited entire with tagDiv Composer.

I see that you are using a pro demo and you edited the single post template with tagDiv Composer to set the shortcode, but this is set on post template and it will apply for all posts, you need to set that shortcode in post/article -> https://i.imgur.com/Lk4tm2E.png.

The footer can be edited only from frontend, edit a page/post template with tagDiv Composer and go down to footer, or if you want to assign one, use the manager -> https://i.imgur.com/Q5PeHkp.png (the footer templates does not have the button to be edited in backend).
Also the abut PSD, I made a request to our designer to provide the psd for that demo.

please provide me a link to your website or at list let me know the demo you are using and I will try to guide you step by step to the header and function.php filse.
Also function.php it will be easer if you are using a child theme, this is coming with this file, and you need just to set the code in it and activate the child theme.

Please note that if you are using a PRO demo, your footer will be editable using tagDiv Composer. You will need to open tagdiv composer on any page, scroll to the bottom of the page and edit your footer.

I just upgraded from Newspaper theme 9 to 10. I am currently working in a staging site so I can get the format to mimic my original size. However, I am having a number of issues.
1) I cannot get the button format to change. The buttons in Newspaper 10 are unusable
2) The height of the header and the resulting alignment of the picture within the header will not adjust
3) I cannot get the red title line to appear
I have checked and I am using the same demo theme for both. However, the formatting options appear to be vastly different. I have tried to manually adjust the CSS, but that won’t work either.

Sorry but I can not manage to edit the Top Row in my Home Page (the Flex Block 2 containing the post “Inviting Beachfront Penthouse in CoBe) move the block up so that there is no space between the block and the Header Main Menu. I want it to look like the Home Page of your Home-Black Version</ where there is no space between the Block and Header.
Hi, I made this website with an old newspaper version that I purchased in 2019. but I lost the key of my other account on Envato and I purchase a new license. I tried to install the new version but I think the demo is a little bit different and I tried to re-install the old version. But TD Composer is not working.
I also tried to delete and re-install TD Composer but same problem.
what you think? If I re-install the new version I check that footer is not present, the header is also a little bit different.
Demo version is SPA Heaven.

I’ve just bought the newspaper theme last week and starting to working with it on a development site. I imported the Gourmet Pro Demo and I really like the flexibility of the theme a lot but now I come across a few issues. I
The pages I created (i.e. Contact Page, Woocommerce pages, About us page, …) don’t have the same layout as the rest of the site. Way smaller container width, other font, etc … I was looking for a way to define a general layout for pages with the Cloud Templates but I can’t find a way to do that? Is this possible?
I don’t want to “build” each page individually actually with the TagDiv builder. That would be a hassle. I would like to create a general layout for them so we can just inject the textual content for that page in the layout.
Secondly I would like to create a “single post” layout for a custom post type I created. I would like them to look a bit different thant the single post layout that has been imported by the Gourmet PRO demo. How can I do that?
P.S. I am a developer so I can write code myself 😉 If it’s not possible in the UI but it can be done by code that’s also fine for me!

1. You will have to do it manually. Demos automatically import with that because of the looks. You can use raw elements if you want to not have the styling active.
There might be a plugin conflict or insufficient resources available. I have checked this on our side and everything runs smoothly.

Hi, maybe I’m impractical, but I’m literally going crazy. I have installed the Gossip demo on my site. I changed the colors and added categories for the menu. The problem is that I can’t get them to filter properly on the homepage. If I ask him to filter articles by category, he tells me there are no posts.
