If you want to have this style for your header 3 you should install the Travel Demo because the menu bar is custom made for each demo.

Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to import only some parts of a demo, sorry! Or all or nothing! Notice that each demo has own style and if you want to combine more than style from different demos you should do it yourself because this task involves doing more additional customizations and we cannot provide something like this at the moment, sorry! I’ve been looking everywhere to figure out where I can replace the background image on my homepage. (I’m using the new “Showcase” Demo). It’s the images of a bunch of floating computer backgrounds of different style websites. The text over it says, “Themes for smart people.” I’ve been able to change that in TagDiv but I’m not smart enough for the image I guess…Thank you for your help!
Hi, just building new site with the local news demo. How do I add new pages eg About, Contact etc and make them show in the menus? I’ve created the page titles in the WP Pages dashboard but they don’t show up in the menus.
Ditto for Categories. I want to replace all the category titles with my own, have created the categories in the WP Posts>categories dashboard but they don’t show in the menus either.

I’m currently working on developing my site, but I had some questions that I hope you’ll be able to answer.
1) I’d like comments to be enabled on all pages, but when I enable it in Screen Options, it still doesn’t have commenting ability on pages.
2) Removing the right sidebar widget but without expanding the page text, so I’d like to keep the 75% look of the page but without the sidebar. However, I only wish to do this for two pages.

2) This worked! Would you mind telling me the perfect size in width/height px for the background image in this? Also, after using the shortcode, I get some grey shadow covering background image all the way from top menu down to the bottom of the Big Grid (and the width of the shadow is as the width of Big Grid) – your Travel Demo doesn’t have that shadow. How do I remove it? Can’t seem to figure it out.

4) I’m confused. Isn’t this a massive bug? How do I allow my website visitors to view articles on my homepage without showing them duplicates? If a person comes to the site, and wants to see what articles the site has, they scroll down to see older articles, and obviously if duplicates start showing up, it’s going to look very unprofessional. How do I avoid that? [Just FYI, I switched to standard view/block size and just off-set 3 posts from the big grid to avoid duplicates, seems to work but obviously not ideal. If you have any other ideas where I can use other block sizes and not have duplicates, that’d be great.]
5) Rocket Loader is disabled, and was never enabled for this site. So that is not the reason. Any other thoughts?

Notice that the theme will load all of your old posts from the database and if you will check to import the demo with content you will bring the dummy data on your website. So I am having a really hard time modifying the smart sidebar to behave like I want it to. What I want is for the sidebar to stick the last element at the top, not cut off the 2nd to last element like it does on all the demos. It’s best to explain what I mean, here is a test page: http://165.227.104.80/5-exciting-monero-developments-to-look-forward-to-in-2018/
If you scroll down, you will notice there are 2 300×600 ads on the sidebar. Once you start scrolling down, it will anchor the bottom ad to the bottom of the sidebar instead of to the top. What I want it to look like is this: https://www.coindesk.com/ripple-eyes-retreat-after-record-price-highs/ As you can see when you scroll down the ad in the sidebar sticks to the very top and there isn’t an element being cut off.
I tried implementing Q2W3 Fixed Widget, Sticky Menu, Theia Sticky Sidebar, and many more methods to no avail. What annoys me is when I turn off the smart sidebar feature in the menu, none of these plug ins work.
I don’t understand why the theme was built in such a way that I am only able to use 1 type of smart sidebar implementation without having an easy way to modify it. Can anybody help me?

2) the big grid used in the travel demo is not available in other demos. If you are trying to re-create the design on an other demo, you will have a hard time doing so as each demo has it’s own custom style. Please install the travel demo and then use this page layout. This is the ‘shortcode’ of the page layout. You can simply paste it inside your page editor in classic mode and text mode: http://screencast.com/t/SUt9ItUc the code: http://pastebin.com/RAA6DkWp
3) That is a block 4 but that is the custom design it gets on the travel demo. This is the default look of the block: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-4/ you have to use it on a full width row without a sidebar in order to get 3 columns of posts.

As for the follow up, it is a cdn issue. it is the mobile background image. Please remove the rocket loader setting on your cdn server.

I guess that you are referring to the different element. The title will cover the images only for Big Grid and if you want the title posts to be under the images, you should use the Blocks. Check our demo tutorial and check the results.
If is not what you mean, please provide more details about what you want to achieve.

If your old site is on wordpress you can just install the newspaper theme and import the demo you like without content. Once its done you need to regenerate your thumbnails and filter the proper categories on homepage. It should be easy but a little time consuming.

we have an old website. I want to take only contents from there and built a new website with newspaper.
I want to start with your demo. Then customize the category names. And export from old website and import into a relevant category on the new website.

Wp-engine, using a staging area..
First issue was the Demo Install would pop an error saying to check debug and all.. fixed that by deactivating plugins and then running the demo install…
Main issue now is– When I install a Demo, all works fine.. and no errors pop up during the install.. BUT the content that comes imported is content from 8yrs ago or so.. all though right before I do the install of the Demo.. i have checked the look and content of my “staging” site and it is showing current posts as of today, when i created the mirror image for the staging area…
I cant find any issues with this in the forum and support.. any help would be great..

Just to follow-up on this. I’ve noticed another issue that seems quite problematic, and I have no clue what that is.
When I load or refresh the homepage, for a split second, there’s some screen (seems like login screen). It shows for maybe 0.5 second, and then disappears, moving to the right (takes about 1 second). It’s a transparent screen, looks like some login confirmation. This started immediately after installing the Newspaper Theme or after the Travel Demo, not sure.
Also, it doesn’t happen every time. I’ve noticed that it’s most likely to happen after some settings in Theme Panel are saved. For example, I’ve just been experimenting with fonts, and after every 2-3 Theme Panel saves, I get that screen on refreshing the homepage.
It’s hard to catch it in full screen mode because it’s fast, but here’s a screenshot of this screen moving to the right and then hiding (there’s also an X to close it at the top right): https://i.imgur.com/YX9sYv8.jpg
Do you know how to disable that thing?
