Most probably, this is “Big Grid-5” but how can I have the “Ajax filter like this” the category topics are big, nice font with an icon and they have different animation effects when clicked.

I figured it out. For some reason when I played around with the theme and added a logo to the main nav bar, the rest of the demo started to appear the way that it should
Just basically would like to use the menu for this with the icons — http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_magazine/ but with this template — http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/.
Do we have documentation of css files of newspaper for demos? I’m thinking of CSS files of Newspaper(default) and Black version. If I can identify them, I’ll then create a script to replace a css file. Thank you!

Thanks for your response, however all those configurations were already set up and appear to be identical. I have two local environments set up side by side with separate installs and have matched the settings in the Theme Panel yet it still isn’t allowing me to have a large top centre logo image of 1920×580 pixels (as representative in the demo link) it just remains a small thumbnail size???
Do you have any other possible solutions/remedies?

Hi Guys, is there anyway to add an in category search and filter on the archive page for articles within that specific category? I’ve attached a mock up to demonstrate what I mean. I know there is the category filter but this doesn’t really give us the flexibility to search the content as we’d like and can only be turned on or off for all categories not individual categories.

I was following these steps when I got the errors. I think it has to do with the latest version of Revolution Slider being incompatible with the demo content. I’m using the latest version of the Newspaper theme which comes with the latest version of Revolution Slider.

It is a new wordpress and theme installation. It is working on the parent theme. So there no custom code.
The panel is working, I am having issues only for the Theme colors->General theme colors options.
I have installed the “black version” demo.
Tried to disable plugins but it is still not working.

Hello arnaudl,
As for the image sizes, there is no ideal image size I can recommend. You will have to assess the containers and thumbs you plan on using on your site and the post templates as well. if you use post templates that use the full-size images like: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-2015-awards-all-of-the-best-and-worst-moments-from-the-show/ then a full-width image is required. If not, you need to inspect every element, especially on the homepage. If you use big grids, your images must be at least the size of the big grid container otherwise, they will not fit inside and not display properly. Here is a list of all thumbs used in our theme:

I am wanting to recreate the the large logo area (Theme Panel – Style 10 – full logo on top + centre menu) as seen in this demo:

I have tried to configure the setting to emulate this example on a fresh install of WordPress but it doesn’t seem to allow for the same scale as in the demo?? Failing to see where i am going wrong so if anyone has a solution to this issue it would be very much appreciated.

Unfortunatly there is no such function added to our theme. The demo you install can only be one at a time. You cannot switch demos live front-end side. Sorry.

You will see in the footer you have our social media icons and then the number of followers we have. Is it possible to just have the social media icon without the number of followers? We are using your Social Counter Widget.

You will see that the latest news has a black border around it with white text inside the boarder and then a black line going across the page.

You will see you have world news with the underline but no boarder around it.
I would like to copy that and have my latest news section without a boarder around it but being underline (Like in the screen shot)

The theme is working excellent!
In the live preview demos of the theme with the “news ticker” Visual Composer feature, the ticker is equidistant from the blocks and the menu. No matter how I change the spacings within the Visual Composer I can’t get this to happen. Is there some custom CSS I need to add in the Theme Pannel to make this possible for the homepage only? Specifically just editing the pixels from menu on the top of the homepage? (Spacing good on all other pages) Thanks!
