Updated exactly as per Tagdiv documentation. This is the 4th or 5th update since my theme purchase, and not my only site, so I am aware of the FTP process.
Also, looking at the File Manager through the cpanel shows the updated files.
De-activating the Child Theme has fixed the errors, however what do I do next to restore my site to its original look? This site has a considerable amount of customization… it looks nothing like the demo content.
The whole point of having Child Themes is to prevent the loss of customization and site settings when themes update. But it is beginning to look like your theme and its update process does not support the use of Child Themes?
Please advise on my next step.
Hello. I just downloaded and installed Newspaper on WordPress 4.5, but the Home seems “broken”, like banners desaligned and some other stuff.
I saw other comments about the problem, but I already have the latest version of visual builder and a brand new WordPress installation.
Can you guys help me?
Demo is not getting installed. I am getting this error message: Ajax Error. Cannot connect to server, it may be due to a misconfiguration on the server. Please help.

But for mine, every other category is showing,there is duplication and its all over the place

Just in case, we recommend doing a backup before making some changes in the theme but please keep in mind that all your posts which were created were loaded in your database and these will appear on your side after downloading the demo.

The featured image in a post using style 7 is not displaying full width as seen in the demo. Instead, using post style 7 looks very similar to style 3, with the featured image only as wide as the main content body. Here’s a screenshot:
Using post style 6, which should also have a wide featured image, yields a similar result. Here’s a screen:

1. I have no added plugins active other than the ones you supplied.
2. I have installed your speed booster plugin and activated it.
3. I am using only your default demo and your content with no modifications.
4. The pagespeed insight still gives me terrible readings of 28 for mobile and 32 for desktop.
5. Other themes give me 70-100 for both so clearly the issue isn’t with my hosting.
6. After running pagespeed insight and activating ONLY your plugins, I get the following for mobile:
“Should Fix:
Enable compression
Leverage browser caching
Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content
Minify CSS
Consider Fixing:
Prioritize visible content
Minify HTML
Reduce server response time”
For desktop, I get:

Unfortunately this error could come from a big number of problems. I believe it happens due to a server configuration which is not responding, it could be due to a delay or it could also be a temporary issue so you can try this a few times and if you still get this error please contact your host provider and let him know about this, ask them to unblock our demo in order to retrieve the theme data. It could also happen due to your wp install or other plugins might also cause this. Also make sure that your permission for the upload folder are set correct. You can check this by trying to upload an image in media library. If the process succeeds then the permission are ok. If not you can use the c-panel to change permissions (set them to 777) or if you do not have access to the cpanel, please contact your hosting provider.

The theme uses a thumbnail of 696 x 0 so anything wider than 696 px will do. The aspect ratio is also very important. On our demo we use multiple sizes, most have around 1068 × 713 px.

Din tema nu exista astfel de setare dar se poate folosi un cod CSS pe care il poti adauga in theme panel->custom css box:

Referitor la block-ul 7, nu stiu exact la ce te referi prin miniaturi dar presupun ca te referi la titlurile posturilor, pentru ca acest tip de block nu are nici excerpt
