Hello!

I’m sorry to hear about this. Please note that every page speed needs some improvement, and it is not enough to install a plugin alone because there are many factors which can affect your page speed quality.
Some factors which you need to take into account are:
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin or not, if you are using the PRO demo or a standard one.

Hi mgiannelis,
Can you please let us know how did you discover that this problem is from the theme, we are also very curious!
My question is simple, when you are logged in to the site and the cache does not apply, does it work correctly? Does the dropdown in the menu and the sliding sidebar work?
If so, then it is possible that some settings in the cache plugins interfere with the css and javascript in the theme.
Now if you have tested everything listed above and the problem persists, please contact us by email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide us a chance to investigate the problems. For this we will need temporary wp-admin access, and also include this link to identify you faster.
Thank you for your understanding!

Hello,

The mobile pages are empty because you are using the mobile theme with amp, and when you are using the mobile theme this will overwrite the responsive version to make it faster the pages need to be made using the mobile editor -> https://i.imgur.com/bK2ykfh.png (because most of the time those are made using builders).
What you can do is to set a mobile content for those pages, or use the mobile theme with amp only for posts -> https://i.imgur.com/PM9X2ln.png
Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose what mobile version you want.

Thank you!

Hi,
Those unused javascript can be from extra plugin that you are using or maybe from some extra script that is set in the theme. You need to check the plugins you are using.
Also, you need to use some plugins for optimize.
For example if you are using the WP Rocket then you can use this guide -> https://wp-rocket.me/google-core-web-vitals-wordpress/remove-unused-javascript/
Another option will be to use the mobile theme plugin. This is special made for mobile design and will load less resource to make the mobile version faster.
I hope this will help you!

Hi,
If the settings on those website are “somewhat identical” then the only thing that is coming in my mind is the server, the ads and the pagespeed.
If the server is the same one, the check the ads and the pagespeed from websites. For example the last one is the faster one and the one that passed the core web vitals on both mobile and desktop.
Thank you!

Hello!

A good choice for the page speed, it could be the mobile layout which contain less elements because it can improve a bit your page speed.
Our developers are working a lot to improve the page speed in every update, so make sure you use the latest update(11.4.2).
Some factors which you need to take into account are:
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin on not, if you are using PRO demo or a standard one.

We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. Edit the page with TagDiv Composer. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB; there you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-speedy-mobile-pages/

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and design for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.

A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY

You can choose to use whichever one is more affordable and useful for you.

If anyone doesn’t fit as you created, then make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones. Also, if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.

Note: If you want to use version 1 or 2, then you need to deactivate the mobile theme plugin and see the results.

Thank you!

Hello!

Please make a test and switch the theme to another one, and check the amp pages with your stories.
AMP is faster and works better only with the Mobile Theme plugin. From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit to AMP. Please read all about AMP here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
It comes with its own templates/design for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Documentation here:

Hi,
Right now the only errors that appears on your website are related to the ads -> https://i.imgur.com/E4PvObJ.png
What I can recommend is to be sure that you use a good server and to be sure that all those theme requirements are set -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Also, what you can do is to improve the website speed and use a cache, if you want you can check our guide for how to make the website faster -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
About those site crashes, you can check the error logs, most of the time there is displayed the error that is causing the crash of the website.
Also, this is an article that may help you -> How To Avoid A Website Crash During High Traffic.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!

Hello!

We recommend using only one cache plugin, the WP Super Cache plugin with this configuration: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure
You need to take into account:
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors.
Our developers are working a lot to improve the page speed in every update.
As a suggestion, disable the lazy load animation. Other starting points to improve your website page speed are here:

Hi muktipolice,
If I’m right those message are provided in site health.
From the reported message I see that the amp is detected by the cache plugin, but this is still not fast enough. Is this set like in our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Also, I see that it makes some recommendations for transient and object cache for amp to make it faster.
Thank you!

Calin

I understand what you mean, but those were the steps that where made for the mobile theme to make it faster -> https://i.imgur.com/7TwUEdy.png so the mobile theme editor will not work with shortcode from builders, you need to use only the mobile editor to create the pages content.
So, my suggestion is to use the responsive version on those pages (https://i.imgur.com/VaZYWDa.png) or in case that you have many pages, then I think that you need to disable the mobile theme plugin and use the responsive version.
Thank you for your understanding!

Hi gwk,
This is a rather strange situation, normal with the settings in this guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ you should get some better results.
Also, if you want you can check our guide for How to Make the Site Faster -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
I hope this will help you!

Problem 1 : I have switched on mobile theme for my website. However I am not using the AMP version due to the facts that I need certain javascripts running.
However, while surfing my website some of my posts opens like the responsive version while some others open in mobile theme. I want mobile theme to run perfectly for faster loading than the responsive version. Please help.

Problem 2: Also, I have lengthy content, so i can’ t post more than three adsense ad units in the content section. Even if I post the js code, only 3 ads shows at most. Is there any way to override it? (As google now permit to put more ads for lengthier contents)

Problem 3 : Is it possible to customise the mobile theme? I didn’t find enough details in the tagdiv documentation. Seems like the infinitely possible wordpress theme is getting restricted by tagdiv mobile theme. Can you point me in the direction, to which sections or files can we edit to add more features to mobile theme (If possible to the amp version too) via any expert developers.

Thanks

Hello!

Other issues here could be the page speed and the configuration of your resources on your website.

You need to take into account:

Hello,
All the functionalities of the site are in tagDiv Composer, when it is deactivated, the pages created with it will show only shortcuts and the site will contain only text and images.
What you can do is try to improve your site speed -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ (the same steps can be used for Newsmag, the only difference is that Newsmag do not have the tagDiv CSS Analyzer tool).
I hope this will help you!

Hello,
I have already started the development of a new builder 5 months ago. I have made a lot of contributions and postings. You are welcome to look through and see what could not be solved. I’m not even specifically about a problem, but about the fact that unfortunately with the Tagdiv Composer was not possible to do everything you wanted to do. Additional plugins are often needed, which makes the system slower. Actually, a separate plugin is used for very much. With my new setup I have only 1/3 of the plugins needed, the website is faster and I have much more options.

I can’t seem to find a comparison of the two. I’m not sure which one to choose. I noticed this link (https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/) was provided by tagdiv staff to offer a comparison, but the link is not working. Which option requires less work? Which option runs faster? What are the positives and negatives for each? Thank you.
