Hi,

If you want to customize the footer, then you can use a footer page and set in it what you need, if you have a code for statistic then you can set it in footer page with tagDiv Composer in a column text or text with title.

Hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hi,

If I’m right this is because you are using a footer page, so you’ll need to edit that footer page, not the content from theme panel footer, because this will apply only on footer styles.

You guys brought a fine feature but single post template bulk update do not apply. I did not even try the bulk category template feature..which I believe is also not working. ( Update: I need to go to each post, in the end of the post, you need to select, post template, FROM PANEL. Than it applies. But again, we have to go each single post. simply the feature do not work.)

Also, the issue with -WPML string translation resetting itself after changing the theme panel language- still continues. Here’s Simion’s last reply..

Hi,

I have recreated the issue on my end. For example I have translated the header template and the footer page fields – https://prnt.sc/qtc1hnhttps://prnt.sc/qtchl8https://prnt.sc/qtchqp And then I did what you mentioned, changed the language in the theme panel and saved. The strings disappeared – https://prnt.sc/qtcicr If I changed the language back, and set the header template and footer page again, they reappeared – https://prnt.sc/qtcito and the translations were still valid, just that the strings disappeared.

I can’t say if this is supposed to happen however (most likely not), or if it happened up to this point, or if it started happening after the recent updates. I will make a note of it and pass it along to the developer team, they will investigate. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and sorry for any inconvenience. Let me know if you notice anything else, or if you have more questions.

This is not related to the cloud library issue mentioned in the topic, that was a different issue. That issue caused cloud library templates to not import correctly or at all when WPML was active, which is now fixed.

Thank you!
Simion C.

Hi,

The Latest Articles can be set on pages in to ways, one from page template by using Page Builder + Latest Articles + Pagination and you can edit it from the bottom of the page or using tagDiv Composer and set a posts loop element -> https://i.imgur.com/2JFJcwl.jpg

The footer can be set from here -> https://i.imgur.com/QGaN1jr.png if you have for example set footer style 1/2 these are custom made and can’t be edited only if you change the style template.

Thank you!

Hi,

The amp problem is because on desktop appear the amp version -> https://i.imgur.com/aFLumKi.png you can deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Also we recommend to use the amp with mobile theme, but please notice that the amp footer will be display different from the desktop or responsive version.

Please check our documentation for Enable/disable comments -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/enabledisable-comments/
Also if you are using a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library, edit it with tagDiv Composer, use the right click on the comments and delete it -> https://i.imgur.com/ZKJIBdm.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/vu4XBPm.png after that save the template.

Hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hello !

That default option cannot be changed, you will have to use a footer from the cloud library in order to have full control over it using the tagDiv Composer.

Find out more about it here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/

Thank you !

Hello,

I switched recently to the cloud templates, which was just horrible (the load times are crazy). Therefore I created also a footer page. Currently I have the problem that it causes an error on single listing page and I see the content twice on every single listing page:

https://ibb.co/1L8gVM3

https://ibb.co/xJrftRN

Since you does not answer my email, I will try it here.

How can I solve the problem??

I upgraded from 9.8 to 10 and I get this when trying to upload templates (Invalid reply from server endpoint). New server with all new PHP 7.x, etc., and all new WP 5.3X. My site is http://www.new.razorclamming.com.

Everything went good with the upgrade except header and footer.

I’ve search forum and I see the question listed and many posts but no answer?

Hi danistone,

1. Please make user that the Facebook sharing is set as in our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/facebook-share/ also make sure that this is not a plugin conflict.

2. The block show more posts using the arrows because is a slider -> https://i.imgur.com/R4hSiTz.png you need to use the tagDiv Composer and replace it with a block or flex blocks and set the limit post number -> https://i.imgur.com/80Qt6jy.png also the image need to be regenerate, please check our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/

3. If this is an untested plugin we can not say if this well work or not with our theme, also we can not provide support for untested plugins.
Tested plugins -> https://i.imgur.com/IDd5qOo.png
Support Policy -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/

4. The blocks from footer can be change by changing the footer style, please check our documentation for footer -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-footer-templates-2/

Hi,

1. The primary category has to be set manually for each post, regardless of its language. Setting a primary category for a post in a English for example, won’t have any effect on the translated posts, one has to be set by you.

2. This is a somewhat related topic – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/translate-cloud-templates-header/
I see you are using a cloud header template, you can create multiple header templates and set one for each language. You can use the header manager to set the desired header depending on the language. For example edit the translated homepage with the composer and set a header that you craeted for that language – https://prnt.sc/qtvz5v Same for the cloud template for posts, categories etc.

For the footer page, in that topic there will be information about how it can be done. Should work fine.

3/4 Change them how exactly? Those fields are added by the theme, changing the actual fields will require you to make modifications in the theme files. If that is what you want, the fields are defined here – https://prnt.sc/qtw1da
You can set this information for each post, no need to translate those fields, if maybe that is what you want to do.

Let me know.
Thanks

Hi,

1. That is because you are using a predefined footer stile, these can not be edit only to add new elements, if you want to set/change the footer elements choose an empty footer and set in Appearance>>Widgets>>Footer1/Footer2/Footer3 the elements you want to display. Also the text from about section can be set here -> https://i.imgur.com/9sdRpwW.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-footer-templates-2/

2. If you want to remove the show comments from modules/blocks all you need to do is to go in Newspaper>Theme panel> Blocks Settings > Meta tag on Modules/Blocks and deactivate the “Show comment count”.
-> http://prntscr.com/pl104p

3. From what I can see you are using the latest post as your homepage, so in order to add the popular posts in sidebar you’ll need to go in Appearance> Widgets set a block (for example block 1) in your sidebar and set the filter on popular -> https://i.imgur.com/2nwoJIu.png

Thank you!

Hello !

1. In order to have a relevant page speed we suggest you to follow our requirements and page speed documentation (which you did ) and after that start posting because an “empty” website will not be relevant for your users in the future. Also please note that page speed is not controlled only by the theme. There are other factors like Host, number of plugins, images, all these influence the Theme.

2. If you don’t have standard pack you will have to edit or create your footer page in order to edit it. Find out more about it here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/

3. f you’re seeing only NAVER

This issue happens when updating from an older version of the theme so please make this adjustment in the tagdiv composer plugin:
https://www.screencast.com/t/HGX40TlcJgb
Then hit a save in the theme panel and then revert the code back to original .this will make the social icons appear properly again.

Please note that we answer the topics from Latest to Newest Monday – Friday from 08:00AM to 05:00PM GMT+2 So multiple replies to your topic will only make us to get harder to your topic.

Thank you !

Hello !

Unfortunately you cannot remove only that. We suggest you to create a footer template from the cloud library which is fully editable using with tagDiv Composer. Find out more about it here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/

Hello,

I have migrated to 10 and have the “tagdiv standard pack” activated. When I deactivate I get changes to my homepage that don’t look good. So I reactivated it. I can’t understand from the articles what exactly needs to be done to remove “dependencies”.

I’m sorry I’m not very tech savvy. I liked your theme because it made it easy to import the demo and replace images and link posts. Now I need to remove dependences and still have no information on how to do that…what files require to have dependencies removed…is it just the home page or is it every single page and post I have which is a lot of files. I’m sorry for the ignorance however I chose your theme so I didn’t have to do all that tech savvy stuff now I need to do a lot of work and really don’t have a roadmap to do it. What needs to be replaced with what?

I also find it kinda stupid that you don’t have a complete “default demo homepage pro” with all the elements in your cloud templates. I mean it is your default demo theme right. Can you provide me with all the pieces to the Default Pro Demo Puzzle. I know about the footer since that is the only thing named.

I hope to get a little more detailed help to understand what I need to do because the articles don’t really provide much information for me on what files I need to remove “dependencies” from so I can stop using the “tagdiv standard pack” and get the blazing fast speed I have read so much about.

Thank you

Hello !

1. Whenever you open a new page everything will refresh.

2. I recommend you to use the Image box element as you can see it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/kjPzymmvnLa This element can be found in the tagDiv Composer.

Also for the footer you will have to use a Cloud template which will be fully editable using the tagDiv Composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/

Thank you !

I’m not overly tech savy so I kinda need the step by step instructions to removing the dependencies.

https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-update-standard-pack-or-tagdiv-cloud-templates/

I used the standard white default demo and as I read the article with very little documentation it eludes to the fact I need to rebuild all pages. I don’t see in the cloud library the HOME PAGE Default Pro…only see as a footer.

Also, do I have to recreate the
Single Post template
Category Template
ETC.

Sorry for the confusion and I appreciate the assistance

Working hard to deactivate the Standard Pack Plugin – Having an issue with my header seems to be 100% of the page and not sized to the rest of the page, compare to footer.
Wrong Header: https://www.voiceofdenton.com/tdb_templates/header-template-10/
Correct Current site: https://www.voiceofdenton.com/
I am sure something simple, but I have been doing trial and error to no avail.

You can see the gray transition bar? it goes the entire width of the page. Also, top white bar that extends full site, not like current one.

Hello,

I use the WordPress Related Posts plugin in my blog with the Newspaper theme. All my articles and also footer section are published with templates I downloaded from Cloud Library. The related posts section is published without problems on articles pages. However, it is also published once more at the bottom of the page under the Footer section. This is not a nice image and distorts the layout and standard. This problem does not occur on pages, it only occurs on article pages.

Site address: http://www.arthenos.com

What is the reason for this, how do I solve this problem?

Thanks in advance for your interest and help.
Regards.

Hello !

That is a default template which is non editable. You will have to use a custom footer page which is fully editable using the tagDiv Composer. You can find out more about it by following our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/

Hello !

Honestly I think that child theme would be harder to configure than a normal template.

Simply go into Cloud Templates – Add new, select a Homepage and edit it using the tagDiv Composer. Once the page is imported you will be able to see it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/h1B5CBBp

Press edit with tagDiv Composer and then you can see this: https://www.screencast.com/t/opIBY3oFsNk7 ; Simply right click on the elements from the header and the footer and delete them. Please note that for footer you will need to import a footer page, and do the same thing as in the homepage: https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/

I hope this was helpful !

Thank you !
