@Foxmediakit@gmail.com It will require access to the theme files, usually this is done connecting to the server by FTP
http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-use-ftp-to-upload-files-to-wordpress-for-beginners/
Also the theme can be updated by FTP, the steps are here

@Wlk I have inspected the website, the Instagram images seem to be displayed at the moment. Might have been a caching issue
https://www.screencast.com/t/Ju6DCRsgr

@mkguide
You must have access to the theme files in order to make the change to the respective theme file. For the social counter plugin you could use the WordPress plugin editor as mentioned on the second page of the topic I believe.

@kjb08002
I cannot provide a time estimate for the next theme update, at this moment.  There are other tasks that need to be finished before releasing an update. The update will contain the same modifications mentioned here concerning Instagram.

@framirezle
You can update the theme by using this guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Be sure to make a backup before, it is always recommended to do so. The most used update method would be by FTP if possible.

Hi,

Sorry for the misunderstanding, that code has to be entered in the theme header file, between the head tags
https://www.screencast.com/t/fsI6vTdNC
The header file is located in the main theme folder, you can access it by FTP or even WordPress editor
https://www.screencast.com/t/TmWRHsH8

Thanks

Each update packages contains a patch folder
https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/
You can update the theme by replacing the current files with the ones from the patch folder.

But if you have any doubts, it is better to update the theme via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case, according to developers documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

How can i implement this fix if i have no access to my ftp files (hosted on wordpress.com on Business Plan)

Indeed, the test shop page is displayed properly from what I can see. The other one with the problems seems to be missing the theme container in the structure. This is the test page and how it it should be
https://www.screencast.com/t/hT452NweR1e
In the other shop page there are no containers
https://www.screencast.com/t/bvD7TkBdy
You could try as a first quick step to deactivate all other plugins except theme plugins and default woocommerce, check to see if this has any effect.
If it does not, then something is not functioning properly there. You could try a theme reinstall if possible, by FTP would be most recommended
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
That should fix the issue. Let us know.

How do I make a post appear under a certain MENU that I’ve created? I can’t find anything on my dashboard that lets me do that. I deleted some of the included menu’s and made my own in their place.
I made one called, ‘RESTAURANTS’, but I don’t see how I can assign a post to that particular menu, it only lets me assign a category.
Here’s my offline site:http://928.d70.myftpupload.com/#

Hi,

There are some solutions you could try and see if they fix the composer issues
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/

If there are still issues, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information, as well as FTP and cPanel access if possible. Include a link to this topic in the email.

@codigoninja
Your max upload might be limited if you cannot upload larger files. You can contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase the max upload size
http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-upload-large-images-in-wordpress/

Thanks

Trying to update my Newspaper theme and I keep getting this error. Error happens installing through both the admin and via FTP. Activation of theme causes entire site to crash with this error. Even trying the live preview of theme doesn’t work.

Hello badnursie,

Sorry but your website is almost empty! Do you have added some blocks to it? What exactly you do not make it? Please provide more details about this problem so I will be able to provide a more accurate response. Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results.

Thanks.

Hi,

Be sure to increase the max upload size parameter, this will affect the upload capability of WordPress. The theme file is around 10MB
https://www.screencast.com/t/CwoHIgHbtM
Upload this file only not the whole theme package. These are the theme install guides
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
The FTP method is the most recommended and also reliable method of installing a theme.

Thanks

Hi,

Similar issues were solved with the solution mentioned in this topic
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/
In theory having adequate system status would ensure a proper theme and theme plugins, but certain server configurations and installed WordPress limitations or modifications may cause problems.
Please try the solution and see if it fixes the issue. If it does not, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login details as well as FTP and cPanel login if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Thanks

Hello,

Please check this section from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/uguqrGxg7O If you do not have the latest version of the theme you should download the latest packet from your account in Theme Forest and update your theme via FTP way.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello charlenetoronto,

Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, increase system status parameters, purge CDN files if you are using the Cloudflare and check the results. If the problem is still there, you should make a new clean install from scratch to another subdomain for testing and check the results.

Thanks for the message!

Hello Ritukant,

I suggest you reinstall the latest version of the theme via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches, purge CDN files if you are using the Cloudflare, increased system status parameters and check the results. Very important is to check your requirements for the theme to be compatible with this guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

If the theme system status is configured as mentioned above, there would be some other cases in which the composer will not work properly or at all
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/
You could try to follow those topics. Try as well to test with no other plugins active, except theme plugins.

If there is still a problem, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login details, FTP access and cPanel if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Thanks

Hello videomaker,

Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. Use only such a page builder to create your pages. Use only TD Composer to be active and disable the Visual COmposer if it was enabled to rule out any conflicts. Provide some useful screenshots if the problem is still there and also, you can provide your website URL for further investigations.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

Indeed, there seems to be no page content whatsoever, no footer etc. Only the header is shown in the website at the moment. Basically these are the theme requirements
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
If these are met the theme and theme plugins should work, there could however be other factors regarding hosting or server configurations that can sometimes be causing issues.

Please check the theme system status, ask your hosting to increase the parameters mentioned in the guide if necessary. If there is still a problem, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login details, FTP and cPanel access as well if possible.

Thanks

Hello DLND,

It seems to be strange what you mean, sorry! Notice that the post should have to be only in the certain categories in which it was added. Please make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme, installed via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. Also, if the problem is still there, try this behavior with a default theme and check the results. Notice that’s a default WordPress functionality.

Thanks for your understanding!
