Maybe it is simply disabled in the screen options. If you use the classic editor the option is here – http://prntscr.com/o1q4xf
If you use Gutenberg it is here – http://prntscr.com/o1qabe – http://prntscr.com/o1qafl

Or maybe you are using an older theme version and the latest WordPress, there might be problems if that is the case. The theme became compatible with WordPress 5 and Gutenberg in the 9.2 update – http://prntscr.com/o1qdeo

It is mandatory to delete all what was left from the older version before intalling this update. Overwriting the files would cause a lot of problems and maybe you’ve missed something while deleting the old files. Have you checked the plugins to be deleted too ? Please ensure that you are using the plugin version which is tested with the theme and which come bundled with it. (WP Bakery 6.0.2) This plugin is tested and should work as expected. If you want the builders to work as before the Newspaper v9.7 you need to replace the tdc_map.php from v9.7 with tdc_map.php from v9.6 the path for this file is in wp-content>plugins>td-composer>includes>tdc_map.php

Most of the theme files were moved into the tagdiv composer plugin as per the requirements of envato: https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000472383-WordPress-Theme-Requirements.
We wrote an article on the subject here: https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
Moving forward with such requirements, a child theme will only work with functions.php, and style.css as there are very few files left in the main theme as envato requires all functionality to be added through plugins.

What theme version was the website using before you updated? I would suggest as a first step to reinstall the theme by FTP – https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/
Remove the current theme and upload it again. There were changes in the theme file structure, it is better to update by FTP in this case.

Also if you use an older PHP version, try to update to version 7, 7.1 or 7.2 for example. Check the wp-memory as well, set it to 256M if possible – https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/

The website you mention seems to be using the latest theme version, looks alright at the moment but it doesn’t function correctly. The block pagination, search button, each time I try to use it, a request is made for a favicon – http://prntscr.com/nzst1v
Does the error you mention appear for all page, even new pages?

To try and identify the problem, first switch to the main theme from the child theme. Then deactivate all the non-theme plugins and check if the website works properly.
