Hi,
It seems the header menu affix used for the sticky menu state does not work properly. Please try to disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache, and check any custom code you might have entered in theme panel or added to the theme files. Then check to see if the problem is still there.

Likely need to edit the header files. It doesn’t hurt anything in modern semantic markup, as the header area is separate from the article/main area of the document. An H1 in the header only indicates that is the primary element in the header vs any other graphics, text, menus, etc. as the primary object.
Is it possible to have different header style per category?
Don’t see such setting in “Per category settings”.
Hello, is there a particular place where to place tracking code from Google Analytics in order to get a correct overview of the incoming traffic? (post views/users etc).
Currently I have the counter outside the <head></head> section within header.php of Newspaper Child Theme and it seems to miss a significant part of the incoming traffic. Especially when a post hits 500+ more views in a short period of time.
I don’t use a cache plugin.
I use a Child Theme (including header.php)
What is your suggestion?

1 – I want to add a slider in my website (with LayerSlider plugin), but when I put the phphcode in the header.php (I have other websites and it’s work just by adding this php code), but when I save the website crush and I have to delete the <?php layerslider(1) ?> to solve the problem.
How can I add my slider?
2 – I want to add the “trending now” in my home page (like in the categories), but I have to create a static homepage, the problem is I can’t change the latest post style like a normal homepage. Can you help me please?

Love the theme but have a quirky problem. The home page load correctly but once you have scrolled down and back up, the logo and header menu are layered behind the top header menu. OF course, you cant’ see/click the header menu items.

There is no option to have a different logo when you have a sticky menu. It seems you are using almost the same colors for the logo and the header menu background. The easier way to do it without modifying the theme files would be to use some custom css to hide the header logo on the homepage like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/vEt78kNjxd that would apply only on the homepage.
This is the code I used, it must be entered in Theme panel->Custom Css

I would like to have our site logo integrated into the revslider on the front page. Then I do not need the logo (header 11) among the top menu on the front page, however on posts I still would like to have full logo present (header 11). Is there a way to not showing logo on page but still on posts?

I do not see this problem at the moment with the header logo – https://www.screencast.com/t/tMQRhKwHh If it is an intermittent issue, maybe a plugin could be causing this, so when it happens again try disabling all the plugins except Visual composer as a test, clear the cache and check to see if the problem remains. Also double check any custom code you may have entered in the theme panel , or added to the theme files related to this.

The code should look like this position: absolute!important; in the screenshot you provided it looks like this position: absolute;!important
But if you could consider waiting for a little time, all of these changes you are trying to implement regarding the header will be available by default in the pending theme update. So if the code is still not working for you, please try to remove it, since it is not working properly and wait for the next theme update which will have this implemented as an option.

Buddypress puts the avatar on the admin bar but I want the avatar and all the dropdown options on the newspaper topbar where it says ‘login/register’. I’m going to try messing with this CSS and core files but thought I’d try asking here as well. thanks.

1. How can I manipulate three column to display its icon in horizontal line in my mobile device. This display horizontally on desktop. But vertically on mobile device.
2. My ads on header section displays normally on desktop (728×90), but is cut off on mobile device.
I am using a plugin called “WP PRO Advertising System”.
They have different short code which are:

I used the Iframe tag, which worked well for desktop device but cut off on mobile device.

3. How many plugins does Newspaper 7 support?
as you can see in the images, there is a thin line between the menu and the bottom of the td-header-main-menu – when using mega menu the white area also overlaps with the menu (see second screenshot)
how can i get it aligned properly? i have tried with the parent theme only and the problem is there also
i realized it’s because of the .td-header-main-menu in style.css of the parent theme (i am using a child theme)

It appears that a portion of the code related with the header of the category does not look the way it should. Also if I choose multiple category styles the ally look the same so I assume somethings is wrong. Could you please help to identify the problem and perhaps correct it?
The only modification that I did was in the header, I added a tracking code for Hotjar and also in the footer another tracking code for PtEngine both for site analytics.

The sticky menu is separate from the main menu. It will not work in it;s current form on the sticky menu.

Hello, so I have been playing with the appearance of the “Trending Now” news ticker and have almost got it to look the way I want. Currently, I am using the “Style 2” version of it. I changed the border color and the background color of the “td_block_trending_now” block and it looks pretty good. The only thing that has been troubling me is that there is a padding around the scrolling text and the block that says trending now. I didn’t notice it before, until I changed the border color. How can I shrink this down, so that the news ticker is the same height as a traditional scrolling marquee. The same thing on the left and the right? I have headers below it that don’t line up with the “Trending Now” block as a result and look a little uneven. I hope that makes sense. I had included an image below for clarification:
