1. I have added facebook page with (raw html) code to my homepage. It is facing some browser compatibility issues with Mozilla (working fine on Chrome). Refer Link: http://www.srkuniverse.com (It is placed in the sidebar just below the social media counter)

2. Can you suggest a plug-in that can be used to setup newsletter ? If there is an in-built option can you please point me in the right direction.

I am currently using the “News” page as the homepage. Is there anyway to keep all the formatting on this page and simply get rid of the Latest Articles section? I’ve tried everything.

The same question would apply to the “Most Popular” and “Hot News” sections in the sidebar, too.

Hi there.

I normally use some font styles (<b></b> or <i></i>) for some of my post titles (see this post for an example). The thing is the theme is not showing this font styles in my homepage’s grids (see here). This font styles are used in Spanish to properly name certain thins (book or journal titles, people’s names sometimes, and so on), so the correct thing would be to (e. g.) display an specific part of a title in italics throughout the whole site (grids, post titles, post archives, and so on).

Any ideas on how to accomplish that?

My website is MainStRock.com. I created a homepage (page name is Home) – however it is only appearing if the user logs in. To be honest, the page a user goes to when they first go to the site (not logged in) I cannot even find in my list of pages. How do I make the homepage the main page everyone goes to whether they are logged in or not?

I installed the Architecture Demo in my site, but I want to change the Block Title design.

I tried some changes in custom html/css and edited the .css files of architecture demo, but nothing has worked.

Hi all tech crunch, I’ve installed the licensed newspaper theme few hours ago and trying to configure and remove the featured YT video section from homepage but none anywhere I can find the option where I can do it. Right atm I’m using the “BLACK” version of new paper and here the URL of my site: https://justexploit.com/

Kindly let me know where and how can I disable or replace with own videos.

So I was told that I’m forced to use visual composer only on my site. Which I’m doing. I wanted to setup one of the template homepages that were included with the theme as my new home page.

However whats happening is that the pre-set layout has visual composer columns in it, and those columns are not showing up.

I’ve made no modification to the page, this is the preset homepage that came with the theme.

I have set my post slug to use category name as the base:
http://xyz.com/category-name/post-name

When I select a post as Featured as well… and made the proper category the primary one, I have noticed that the post works with both slugs:
http://xyz.com/primary-category-name/post-name/ (should be this one only)
http://xyz.com/featured/post-name/

On my homepage, I show featured at the top fold, while everything is listed below that… I have noticed that only the post where I select featured gets listed with ‘featured’ as cat-base (http://xyz.com/featured/post-name/) in the slug below the top fold.
However, in the top fold where I list featured posts only, the same post has the proper slug (http://xyz.com/primary-category-name/post-name)

In SHort, the same post has two slugs now one with primary category and the other with featured category and both works and show the same content… I don’t want to have featured one. Please guide me how to fix this. Thanks!

I finally got around to upgrading to v8 and wanted to start converting VC pages to your composer. But I’m running into an issue I had with VC. Columns inside row stack, they are not actual columns. I fixed this issue with some custom CSS in VC, but I would prefer to have new composer plugin work out of the box. You can actually see this issue fixed on the current homepage using VC.

After updating to Newspaper 8, I am trying to recreate my homepage with Tagdiv composer following your transition guide. However I cannot load it, it just got stuck at the loading screen. I tried to deactivate and delete the plugin, installed it again but it still cannot load. My homepage is looking a bit weird now after updating the theme, so i would like to build the page again asap. How can i solve the issue?
